What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

I don't feel comfortable with the reporting. It seems a little complicated to set up. That being said, I haven't researched it thoroughly. Maybe having some directions within the tool to help explain reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

Applicant Stack allows multiple hiring staff to review the candidates at one time. Progress to the next step in the process. It even has compatibility to connect to different payroll software. Mostly I like the quit rating application thumbs up or down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

It really helped us organize our onboarding information. It was nice to set tasks to employees and send reminders to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was a bit of a learning curve to understand and use. There are also a lot of emails we get when making tasks and no way of disabling them with removing ALL emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

You can create custom scoring questions with a KO option. For example, some positions require a driver's license. We can create a question like "Do you have a valid driver's license?" If they answer no, it scores them as a "KO." Then we don't have to spend time reviewing their application. We already know they don't meet the minimum qualifications. This saves time when reviewing applicants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

If you post a job on Indeed using Indeed's website, the action button the applicant sees says something like "Apply Now." That is easy and familiar to the applicant.

ApplicantStack will post job listings to Indeed, organically or sponsored, which is great. But since the applicant applies on the ApplicantStack website rather than directly within Indeed, the action buttion now shows "Apply on Company Site". It takes them to the ApplicantStack application process. It is simple for them to fill out, but we have found that some people just bail out and don't finish the process.

We measured this over a 13 month period by posting similar ads directly within Indeed and on Indeed via ApplicantStack. We did receive a meaningfully higher number of applicants directly within Indeed vs through ApplicantStack.

So you gain the additional features of ApplicantStack, but might lose out on some applicants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ApplicantStack solving and how is that benefiting you?

ApplicantStack allows many custom questionnaires that Indeed does not. So we can gather critical hiring information.

ApplicantStack also allows dynamic scoring by assigning different score values to multiple-choice question answers. This saves us loads of time when reviewing applicants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ApplicantStack:

I would like to see them integrate with skills testing tools like eSkills. I'd like to see a scoring system for candidates where you could aggregate scores for candidates. This "sort of" works but it's not as accurate as it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ApplicantStack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Saves tremendous staff time in pre-screening candidates. AS has given us a much better repository of candidates. We used to use a ticketing system that we made into an ATS system so it made searching for candidates difficult and we didn't have a consistent workflow to our recruiting and hiring process. AS has given us a much more consistent workflow so candidates are much further along in the screening process before anyone ever meets with a candidate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it's easy to post jobs and the positions are readily available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

I don't like the Search engine associated with applicantstack. You should be able to search all applications...not just resumes for key words. I also believe applicants should be able to update there applications so they don't have to fill out tons of them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
