The multi location routing thing actually works well for us. Before this our receptionist had to manually check which clinic had availability then transfer the patient. Now AI check real time availability across all six clinic in Google Calendar and just book it. Caller get SMS confirmation before they hang up even. Human staff not bogged down with routine scheduling anymore especially lunch rush and after 5.

I uploaded intake forms and policy docs hoping it could answer billing questions but it doesn't always pull the right info mid conversation. Struggles when patient ask something slightly off script so we end up routing those calls to human anyway.

**What problems is RingCentral AI Receptionist (AIR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest thing is we capture leads and appointment requests during off-hours without paying overtime. Old voicemail system, patients hated it, we lost some to competitors who actually picked up. Front desk call volume dropped maybe 30 to 40% so staff can focus more on in person stuff. Booking is more standardized across locations too and less double booking than before.

AIR has reduced nuisance calls by as much as 90%.  The rest of the 10% get through to the right person without needing a real receptionist.

**What do you dislike about RingCentral AI Receptionist (AIR)?**

There's really nothing that I dislike.  The features and continued evolution meets needs I wasn't even considering.

**What problems is RingCentral AI Receptionist (AIR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When our company was looking to use this, we had realized that 90% of our calls each month were hang-ups, or spam, or political, or solicitations, or surveys...or other trash calls.  Each call required someone to stop what they were doing to answer the call.  That distraction and interruption caused "restart" time which tended to amount to 15 hours a month.  The calls that were genuine typically needed to be handed off to someone else based on the subject and availability.  Now, AIR is taught to hear what the subject is and can route to the correct person, reducing the receptionist role to a very few each month.  Another benefit is that it can respond to requests for specific people's names and can work through ambiguity for similar names.
