Features include practice management, electronic health records, medical billing, patient engagement tools, telemedicine functionality, patient charts, reputation management, financial analytics and business intelligence reporting that all work together to automate medical practice workflows. Integrated workflows automates the patient journey and improves the patient experience, starting with self-scheduling onsite or telemedicine appointments. Reminders can be sent to via text or email to notify of patient appointments . Using automated functionality, insurance eligibility verification for next-day patients runs automatically and alerts staff of potential issues. Intake and consent forms are sent through a patient portal and automatically collected into the patient chart. With a physician dashboard, charting and prescriptions can be done from a centralized location. Charge capture occurs during the charting process without billing staff needing to copy or paste. AdvancedMD's cloud platform provides remote access and the highest levels of data security available. Dreadful onboarding process, terrible training, absolutely worst customer service and support **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2023 **What do you like best about AdvancedMD?** Unfortunately, we experienced zero upsides. Honestly, everything was terrible in our experience. Since there were no positives, I am just going to keep typing here to get past the character limit. **What do you dislike about AdvancedMD?** The onboarding process was poorly executed and managed by their team. They consistently dropped the ball across training and customer service. The "customer success" person quit the company; we weren't informed, and it took almost two weeks for them to tell us (we had to ask). We had no dedicated support to finish our onboarding, and the person barely communicated when we did. We had no idea where we were. Their management was of no help either. I found their CEO's e-mail, and she didn't react very well to my complaints, etc. Their software is antiquated and not very user-friendly. We made recommendations on various weak points, and those recommendations were ignored. Their teams work in silos and fail to communicate appropriately. We were required to pay a $5,000+ minimum, and they treated us like trash. Unless you're forced to use them, I would advise you to use anyone but them. Avoid at all costs. We lost millions because they couldn't get their crap together, and that's a fact. I should sue them! **What problems is AdvancedMD solving and how is that benefiting you?** We tried to use AMD as an EHR and Clearinghouse and we couldn't get it to process our claims. Nothing but problems from the start to the finish and then we quit and paid a penalty. ### 2. It is easy to post, and it is easy to run reports. Everything in the system is time and user stamped so it is also easy to track who did what and when. This is a great feature for accountablity. **What do you dislike about AdvancedMD?** I would like to be able to run more inclusive reports. A lot of the reports available, you have to piece together. They do have options for this at an additional charge, but if you do not want to spend that extra money for this feature, then you are left to run multiple reports. **Recommendations to others considering AdvancedMD:** I have used many different medical systems, and this is by far the best for billing and reporting. **What problems is AdvancedMD solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are not many problems that I am currently solving with AdvancedBilling but there is a team that can help you via phone or chat. There are some issues that I would like resolved faster than they are resolved but that is more of a me issue than an advancedBilling issue. ### 3. Scheduling is also very easy and customizable to codes and insurances. **What do you dislike about AdvancedMD?** There tends to be many tabs to click through for certain features. For example, if I want to print a schedule, I have to at least click through 3 tabs. There is also a limited hover option for when reading longer titles. **What problems is AdvancedMD solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping with the ease of scheduling and patient intake in a method that is highly customized in a secure system. Once a template or process is made, it immediately implements into the system. Many functions are also paperless and great for both patients and providers. ### 4.
