Action1 Pricing Overview

I like that it is very easy to setup and easy to use and is very generous with it's free plan that allows smaller companies to have the tools they need to secure and support their endpoints that they would not have otherwise. It's patch management works great and has lots of options for accepting or denying updates based on needs. it has good monitoring tools and remote access support options to quickly help end users when needed as well. It helps with device inventory as it tells you the hardware and software info of all devices connected to Action1. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a simple and highly effective solution for Patch management and with the bonus of also having some basic RMM features. I can't think of any major downsides. I do wish it had built-in support for updating the MS 365 desktop apps without having to set it up and configure it manually, though their database is still quite good and growing all the time. For me there are 3 strong points that make Action1 particularly attractive:

- Simplicity: Onboarding devices is incredibly simple, either single devices or Active Directory bulk can be done in minutes

- Easy to use: Everything you need is laid out in clear visualisations and dashboards, vulnerabilities/missing updates etc

- Powerful: The scheduled tasks, scripting, and modularity aspects makes it easy to extend the existing functionality specific to your needs

All features are available for free forever for the first 200 endpoints.

Any features that you need you can request to be put on the public backlog, which they are actively working on, e.g. recent addition of Mac support is a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lacking some of the more advanced/fine-grain features that products like Intune offer. Most likely can achieve somewhat similar results through the scripting aspects though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
