**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

Their customer friendliness, whether from our account rep or through Live Chat, is always timely and very helpful. Whenever we have questions, they are there to guide us. The platform is very user-friendly, and we have not experienced any downtime. 

Their reporting is very helpful, and if I need an ad hoc report, they quickly provide the necessary information along with a summary. The transition experience has been top-notch, providing a seamless implementation. They had a great program, so we always knew what was needed and who was responsible for each action. 

The integration from our applicant tracking system to Accurate has been flawless. We process more than 75,000 background checks annually and have had no issues with turnaround time; they consistently deliver as promised. Our locations use Accurate on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

Out only regret is that we didn't move to Accurate sooner. I haven't found anything to dislike about their customer service or the platform.

We've had a positive experience using Accurate Background for our background screening needs. The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate, which streamlines our hiring process significantly. The only area for improvement is the readability of certain sections within the background check reports. Some details can be a bit difficult to interpret at a glance, and clearer formatting or guidance would enhance the user experience.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

What I like best about Accurate Background is how responsive and helpful their team is. They’re quick to assist whenever we need support, and their 24/7 chat feature makes it easy to get immediate help. Through the chat, we’re able to reschedule drug tests, resend ePassports, and take care of a wide range of requests efficiently, without having to wait on emails or phone calls. Their turnaround times are consistently fast, and they go above and beyond to provide great customer support.

Another major benefit is that we’ve integrated Accurate with our internal system, which has significantly improved our workflow. Once a background check or drug test is ordered, the results automatically feed back into our platform as soon as they’re completed. This automation helps us avoid manual data entry, reduces errors, and speeds up our onboarding process. It also gives our team real-time visibility into where each candidate is in the process, which is incredibly valuable when managing high volumes.

Overall, Accurate has been a reliable and efficient partner, and their tools and support make a big difference in our day-to-day operations.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

One of our biggest pain points with Accurate Background is how the system handles state-required forms—specifically for the Georgia (GA) search. Currently, the background check is allowed to complete even if the GA search is canceled due to a missing form. This creates a lot of manual follow-up on our end.

Ideally, the background check wouldn’t proceed until the required form is submitted by the rep. As it stands, once the GA search is canceled and later reopened, it generates a new order, which makes it difficult to track and manage. We then have to manually add calendar reminders and continuously check back to see if the search clears, so we can approve the background check in our system. This process is time-consuming and increases the chances of something slipping through the cracks.

Addressing this workflow would greatly improve our experience and efficiency.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accurate Background helps us streamline and manage both background checks and drug testing efficiently and at scale. One major problem they solve is reducing the amount of manual follow-up and tracking we used to have to do. With their system, we can initiate checks quickly, and thanks to our integration, results flow directly into our internal platform once completed—saving time and reducing human error.

Their 24/7 support, especially through the live chat feature, also helps us solve issues in real time—whether it's rescheduling a drug test, resending an ePassport, or correcting candidate information. This minimizes delays and keeps our onboarding process moving smoothly.

Overall, Accurate helps us stay organized, compliant, and efficient, which ultimately improves the candidate experience and supports faster ramp-up times.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

Integration capabilities with Workday allow for streamlined process for our internal team. Record of a completed background check can be attached to the candidate. Turn-around time on background checks is typically fast.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

We struggle with the education verification process at times. There are a few different instances that come up, but we end up manually requesting and verifying education out of the system more often than we would like. If someone did not graduate, attendance is not verified. If they accidentally click that they did not graduate, but provided education details with graduation dates, it is not attempted to be verified. We were unable to make configuration changes to update those. Internation edu is also tricky and usually not verified.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accurate allows the team to easily send background checks via our integration with Workday. The best part is that we can have it write-back some candidate data that is necessary for other onboarding processes that we would otherwise be unable to collect. We have a high volume and usually have a short window of time from signed offer to start and Accurate allows for us to have background checks completed quickly to meet those timelines.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

We have a dedicated customer account representative that is responsive and timely whenever we have questions.  We have significantly reduced our background processing time since implementing Accurate over a year ago.  The integration process was seamless, especially considering we were implementing a new ATS at the same time.  They are very helpful in educating us on compliance and how legal changes will affect our background checking processes, and have even offered some cost saving advice.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

The only downside is that I am unable to administer and set up my own users.  Our customer account representative handles that set up.  Since they are so responsive, it has not caused any issues being unable to set up our own users.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to handle pre-adverse and adverse action notices internally, but having Accurate handle issuing those documents has been a tremendous help in ensuring that we are sending the notices timely.

They are very good about keeping us updated if screenings are taking longer than expected. They also will reply fairly quickly when I reach out to them with questions.

Not sure there is anything I dislike. Wish the ordering of supplies was a little easier.

They are trying to locate a drug testing company in the area I live and work.  We are fairly remote with not a lot of options

Not sure if this is just due an aspect of Accurate's workflow but I can't see things submitted by other people. I understand my director has high level viewing access but it's a pain when someone is out of office and I'm not able to relay whether results came back cleared or not because I didn't order the background check.

**Recommendations to others considering Accurate Background:**

Make sure to have more than one person set up to order the checks.

We would have to explore options for some other company. Accurate is diligent and proactive to resolve discrepancies.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

I appreciate how easy it is to reach out and get information from not only my Account Manager, Robin but also from a CSR. I can initiate at least 100 background screenings a week so the ease, the integration with our ATS, and the number of options we have is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

Some things that could use improvement, but is not a deal breaker,  could be the wait time when I'm trying to reach a CSR then providing the same information that I already had submitted to them once I finally get through. Another thing that could be a downside could be the change in policies without proper notification. An example of this would be reaching out to change or update an email address for a candidate but being told that we are no longer allowed to submit this but the candidate would have to reach out instead. Lastly, one thing I would suggest is maybe making it easier for admins to be able to pull data/reports on our own without limitations.

Ensuring we are hiring good quality candidates who are providing accurate information.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

The system is user-friendly, and the reports are easy to read. Our account manager, Armida Steele, is very helpful and readily available to answer questions and conduct research when there isn't an immediate answer. Accurate has integrated smoothly with our CHRS PageUp system.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

I am concerned about how some information in a report can change when a translation feature is active in a browser. Background results should not be alterable, as this raises doubts about the security and reliability of the information presented.  I also dislike that we are unable to rerun a background if we select the wrong package.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have to background check all new employees, which saves us time by contacting previous employers and verifying information through various systems, such as courts and educational institutions.to have information verified.

The product itself is designed for efficiency and ease of use.  It is never a hassle to log in, find what I need quickly, and move on.  They were also able to integrate to our ATS which is amazing.  Customer Service has always been excellent.  I have now had 6 years experience working with Accurate Background.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

The only frustrations I have are out of Accurate Background's control.  If I ever have an issue with the results of a requisition and need Accurate to re-evaluate or investigate deeper, it's not been an issue.  They handle everything within their control very professionaly.

Going further, Accurate is actively lobbying the government of California to alleviate some of the issues we face in delays on Background Checks.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

I like best that we can customize a lot of our packages, instructions in the system and emails sent by Accurate for our organization.  This makes for a better overall candidate experience and it allows us not to have to send multiple emails to explain processes because they are pre populated.  I also like that Accurate offers a medical services team for healthcare organizations like ours.  We can rely on their customer service support to assist us throughout the day if needed.  I also like all the tools available to us in the Accurate customer portal that can help us keep our backgrounds organized.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

Currently, I dislike the new customer service chat feature in the customer portal.  I liked being able to request an email after the chat was completed.  Now, I can only download it and the initial reason for my chat is not included.  There also seems to be a bit more time involved with the chat that it was before.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a large amount of hires and Accurate is helping with ensuring their backgrounds are getting complete.  We have recently changed to AccurateConfirm, which has helped with the employment verification process and cost.

Clear and concise reporting on candidate background checks and Motor Vehicle Reports. Easy to use when submitting candiates.

I believe it is an industry wide issues with court closures and redactions. Most of the time customer support is helpful, but on occasion you do have a customer support member who doesn't have much input when a situation arises.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CRST is a 3PL broker. We utilize accurate ace for clients that do not have specific background providers for our carrier network. It benefits us to have clear reporting when dealing with audits with our clients who want to ensure a safe carrier network is supporting their customers and entering their homes.

I love the customer service and communication we receive from our dedicated rep, Chandan Das. He's quick to respond and thorough in his investigations of discrepancies or issues. He's also very knowledgeable about the packages and options Accurate offers. He's made great suggestions on things we can add to enhance our screenings.

I don't believe I have anything I dislike about Accurate.

Soon, they will implement more user-friendly features around submitting and reissuing drug screens. They are also adding some additional reporting features that will enhance our reviews.

Turnaround Time - My account rep is amazing - Clearinghouse reports are clear and provide detailed information - Dashboard is very easy to use - Integration was seamless -

Billing is often inaccurate - Customer Support is average but getting better - I wish the search feature was better ( I currently have to type in the full last name in order to get results)  would prefer to add just a few letters - SSN match is terrible in how their process works as well as their results.

Accurate takes heavy lifting for you. Ease of use and accuracy of information are the things that I like the most

I would not say that Accurate has any downside. If anything, more regional support based on the caller but I understand the limitations there.

Accurate is helping Protective Life to prepare for the future. Their customizable options and ability to adapt to different scenarios is what is needed as we try to expand our business.

The customer support, the quick turn around for inquiries the quick turn around for background checks and the ease of the system and its features and the implemtation was very quick and easy.

only thing that comes to mind is the length of time for foreign background checks and places that dont electronicaly provide the proof yet.  I dont beleive that is an Accurate controlled item though

A wide range of products and services is offered. Ensure quick turn-around times. Pricing is very reasonable, possibly due to the large number of backgrounds performed each year.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

Could improve on the customer service training. Inconsistency in applying some of our processes, like reportable items and Returned Mail processes.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implemented monday.com for project management and meeting organization. This has facilitated meeting times and efficiency in discussions. Working on Dynamic Billing process to help in invoicing correctly. Unfortunately, it has taken quite a bit longer than expected.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

We have been with Accurate for over 3 years. From the initial RFP is was evident that the service levels and service timing was in line with what we needed. We have a white glove experience and needed a vendor that caould partner with us on experince while maintaining a very quick pace and running specific checks needed as a healthcare company. Accurate came through with flying colors and has delivered this lievel of service every day since then. Additionally in the last 36 months they have improved and updated technology that was already very good to be amazing and allow our team to communicate with the Accurate team seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

The issues we have had in this space are not becuase of Accurate.  Several of their partners that we must use, have not been great to work with.  But Accurate has continued to leverage and push those vendors to improve.  This includes the CEO taking meetings with these vendors and share how the end users were having challenges and how the vendor could partner with Accurate.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Healthcare company our drug and health screenings are more complex and Accurate has stayed in lock step with us and our requirements.

Accurate's very responsive to questions and escalations.  We are a high volume, high maintenance customer and Accurate is always willing to engage and assist in getting our backgrounds back as quickly as possible in many jurisdictions.

There aren't really any downsides that are the responsibility of Accurate.  Turnaround times could always be improved, but not always in the control of Accurate.

**What do you like best about Accurate Background?**

Our account manager Dana Scarbro is a rock star! She truly goes above and beyond to help us out when we're in a pinch and need an applicants background reviewed and cleared. Not only is she amazing and super attentive, but her team is also knocking out the park!

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

I wish your website was a bit better with uploading documents. I have candidates that will upload a diploma when first filling out the forms and we will still receive an email days later saying that the diploma needs to be provided. Which then, backs up the process further more.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Filtering through candidates that may not be eligible or suited for the roles we are filling.

My Senior Account Manager goes above and beyond to answer any questions or issues arise. She's responsive and incredibly easy to work with. The Accurate Background system itself is integrated into our recruiting platform, which also makes it easier for us to request background checks for our hires.

We've had instances of candidates taking months to clear the criminal records check portion. I understand this is outside of Accurate's hands, but it would have been helpful to have a quicker work around to this problem.

The customer service hands down. Our primary support rep, Brian is incredible and he has been our primary contact for years. He understands our business needs and always works toward solutions even if the system doesn't meet our exact needs. It makes everything easier and gives me confidence that we are getting the most out of the product. It's also just a much more modern and user friendly system then we had previously.

Any downside would be nit picking based on very specific needs of our organization but the customer service and support makes it a non issue because I always feel supported and that we can work towards a solution.

Inability to pivot during the background check process. Why does your company call the same phone number several times, then mark a search as completed? You completed, nothing! The customer should not have to complete their own verifications after paying for your services. Call one phone number 4 times, then contact the applicant for an updated contact. I should not have to get involved at any point, please update this process!

Accurate can handle the volume of our needs well. Their customer service is very responsive and business oriented. Quarterly reviews are always comprehensive. In recent months, Accurate has made a good investment in reducing turn around time for background checks and drug screenings.

Some of their partners (e.g. labs) do not have the greatest reputation for customer service. I wish there was a way to integrate Accurate's UI be part of our overall onboarding UI - right now they are two seperate log ons.

Our policies require a we conduct a full background check and drug screening. Without accurate, we would not be in compliance. They offer a very comprehensive solution that is easy to use and works for our flows.

The 24x7 chat feature of the Accurate Background service is incredibly helpful. HR is never a 9-5 job, and having access to resources all day, 364 days a year is invaluable. In addition, having an escalation route with a dedicated sales and services partner always helps when complicated situations arise.

**What do you dislike about Accurate Background?**

It would be great if Accurate and Gryphon were more integrated such that administrators could have more access to self servce in both systems for things like adding/deleting users, updating locations, etc.

**What problems is Accurate Background solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accurate has a streamlined view of multiple business units within our very large and complex organization that is leaps and bounds above our prior vendor. In addition the native visuals are very helpful for multiple HR teams who are seeking quick access to information. In addition, inherent compliance processes and timely update of the system concurrent with law changes is incredibly valuable.
