What do you like best about Accurate Background?

Their customer friendliness, whether from our account rep or through Live Chat, is always timely and very helpful. Whenever we have questions, they are there to guide us. The platform is very user-friendly, and we have not experienced any downtime.

Their reporting is very helpful, and if I need an ad hoc report, they quickly provide the necessary information along with a summary. The transition experience has been top-notch, providing a seamless implementation. They had a great program, so we always knew what was needed and who was responsible for each action.

The integration from our applicant tracking system to Accurate has been flawless. We process more than 75,000 background checks annually and have had no issues with turnaround time; they consistently deliver as promised. Our locations use Accurate on a daily basis. What do you like best about Accurate Background?

What I like best about Accurate Background is how responsive and helpful their team is. They’re quick to assist whenever we need support, and their 24/7 chat feature makes it easy to get immediate help. Through the chat, we’re able to reschedule drug tests, resend ePassports, and take care of a wide range of requests efficiently, without having to wait on emails or phone calls. Their turnaround times are consistently fast, and they go above and beyond to provide great customer support.

Another major benefit is that we’ve integrated Accurate with our internal system, which has significantly improved our workflow. Once a background check or drug test is ordered, the results automatically feed back into our platform as soon as they’re completed. This automation helps us avoid manual data entry, reduces errors, and speeds up our onboarding process. It also gives our team real-time visibility into where each candidate is in the process, which is incredibly valuable when managing high volumes.

What do you dislike about Accurate Background?

One of our biggest pain points with Accurate Background is how the system handles state-required forms—specifically for the Georgia (GA) search. Currently, the background check is allowed to complete even if the GA search is canceled due to a missing form. This creates a lot of manual follow-up on our end.

Ideally, the background check wouldn’t proceed until the required form is submitted by the rep. As it stands, once the GA search is canceled and later reopened, it generates a new order, which makes it difficult to track and manage. We then have to manually add calendar reminders and continuously check back to see if the search clears, so we can approve the background check in our system. This process is time-consuming and increases the chances of something slipping through the cracks.

What do you like best about Accurate Background?

What do you dislike about Accurate Background?

We struggle with the education verification process at times. There are a few different instances that come up, but we end up manually requesting and verifying education out of the system more often than we would like. If someone did not graduate, attendance is not verified. If they accidentally click that they did not graduate, but provided education details with graduation dates, it is not attempted to be verified. We were unable to make configuration changes to update those. Internation edu is also tricky and usually not verified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Accurate Background?

We have a dedicated customer account representative that is responsive and timely whenever we have questions. We have significantly reduced our background processing time since implementing Accurate over a year ago. The integration process was seamless, especially considering we were implementing a new ATS at the same time. They are very helpful in educating us on compliance and how legal changes will affect our background checking processes, and have even offered some cost saving advice. Not sure if this is just due an aspect of Accurate's workflow but I can't see things submitted by other people. I understand my director has high level viewing access but it's a pain when someone is out of office and I'm not able to relay whether results came back cleared or not because I didn't order the background check. What do you like best about Accurate Background?

I appreciate how easy it is to reach out and get information from not only my Account Manager, Robin but also from a CSR. I can initiate at least 100 background screenings a week so the ease, the integration with our ATS, and the number of options we have is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Accurate Background?

Some things that could use improvement, but is not a deal breaker, could be the wait time when I'm trying to reach a CSR then providing the same information that I already had submitted to them once I finally get through. Another thing that could be a downside could be the change in policies without proper notification. An example of this would be reaching out to change or update an email address for a candidate but being told that we are no longer allowed to submit this but the candidate would have to reach out instead. Lastly, one thing I would suggest is maybe making it easier for admins to be able to pull data/reports on our own without limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is user-friendly, and the reports are easy to read. Our account manager, Armida Steele, is very helpful and readily available to answer questions and conduct research when there isn't an immediate answer. What do you dislike about Accurate Background?

I am concerned about how some information in a report can change when a translation feature is active in a browser. Background results should not be alterable, as this raises doubts about the security and reliability of the information presented.
