What do you like best about Acctivate Inventory Software?

Very intuitive if you were using Quickbooks before, and the tracking system is excellent. There is also an add-on for the supplement industry that we haven't kimplemented yet but it seems very promising. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Acctivate Inventory Software?

I like that Acctivate works hand in hand with Quickbooks. The Sync function is beneficial to time management on entering information twice. Also, I like that when you enter a product in inventory, it is easily editable or to make a copy of. The create button is helpful as well because that has all the options and steps you need to be located in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?

I wouldn't say I like that that system has to be babied a bit. For example, once a product is entered into a PO, it is locked into whatever price you entered into that PO unless you go back into the PO and void it, change it, and re-issue it. Then the cost of the product can be edited. It sometimes makes things hard to edit, and going through that process messes up inventory. Also, I love the sync feature, but sometimes, when stuff carries over, it messes up invoiceing, classes and other essential fields in Quickbooks. I have also noticed that if you take payment in Quickbooks, that does sync into Acctivate to show that the product has been paid for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The potential in the software is huge. After building out the system, it is extremely powerful. And we are barely scratching the surface of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?

As a small company, with no CTO, building the company and implementing the systems, was quite a lift. The implementations specialist was helpful, but it will take a full-time position to train and learn the systems in order to properly implement and execute a manageable system. What do you like best about Acctivate Inventory Software?

Every interaction with a customer (transactions, activities, emails, phone calls, etc.) is recorded and managed within the software. The software is priced right for what it does, and support fees are reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?

1. Wish it did statements (showing payments and balances due) by combining data from various invoices and sales orders.

2. Would like a cloud service (SaaS model).

3. Would like to be able to copy individual lines of a quote or sales order, without copying the whole quote or order.

What do you like best about Acctivate Inventory Software?

Our favorite feature is the highly customizable report system. Their support team regularly creates custom reports to suit our needs if the desired report does not already exist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?

The GUI sometimes appears a bit dated, but it works...can't complain too much there. We've also had a bit of an issue integrating customer access to their order history through our website, but it's a work in progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not like that there are multiple steps to achieve a simple goal; for instance, there should not be three parts to entering a vendor invoice, I also do not like that each PO is it's own invoice, there needs to be a solution for multiple PO's on the same customer invoice. What do you like best about Acctivate Inventory Software?

The features of Average Cost rolling as inventory is increased as well as decremented makes costing simple. I appreciate that some customizations are available and the team is really friendly to work with when refining the software for your specific use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?

A few features are not as intuitive or streamlined as would be ideal. For instance, it would be helpful to print directly from the transaction list instead of having to access reports and enter the specific transaction number which had to be found elsewhere first. Some customizations cannot be achieved, though this is minor as there are a robust amount of available options. I have found that it's reasonable to have at least a few workarounds in any software to have it truly fit your needs. I do wish inventory cycle counts could be edited as you may have a typo and need to correct; the ability to make a new adjustment does exist, but it skews the visual history of the cycle counts. What do you like best about Acctivate Inventory Software?

Acctivate's customer service is great. The software is easy to navigate once you get the hang of it.

We use the inventory tracking software, and sync to our QB account which works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there was some additional customization options regarding the Customer portal. I do think that the documentation on the Acctivate website could be easier to navigate when trying to find answers to questions that have come up. Your transparent feedback regarding the Customer Portal and our documentation is valuable as we strive to provide comprehensive help resources.

Unfortunately, the Customer Portal is part of an application which we use as our CRM and to manage tickets so we have no direct control over changes to that Portal. That said, we do have a good relationship with the application company and would be happy to pass along any specific feedback for changes you would like to see.
