There is also an add-on for the supplement industry that we haven't kimplemented yet but it seems very promising. **What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?** Forecast and dashboard are not very advanced. They could be a bit better. **What problems is Acctivate Inventory Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** The tracking of lot number and the graph made from it are perfect for the supplement industry and the pricing is also very good for such product. ### 2. The Sync function is beneficial to time management on entering information twice. Also, I like that when you enter a product in inventory, it is easily editable or to make a copy of. The create button is helpful as well because that has all the options and steps you need to be located in one place. **What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?** I wouldn't say I like that that system has to be babied a bit. For example, once a product is entered into a PO, it is locked into whatever price you entered into that PO unless you go back into the PO and void it, change it, and re-issue it. Then the cost of the product can be edited. It sometimes makes things hard to edit, and going through that process messes up inventory. Also, I love the sync feature, but sometimes, when stuff carries over, it messes up invoiceing, classes and other essential fields in Quickbooks. I have also noticed that if you take payment in Quickbooks, that does sync into Acctivate to show that the product has been paid for. **What problems is Acctivate Inventory Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** They have stated that they are solving some of the Syncing issues between QBs, which will alleviate a lot of troubles. **Official Response from Matt Allen:** > Hey Allison, Thank you so much for taking time to leave feedback on your Acctivate experience. I appreciate that some customizations are available and the team is really friendly to work with when refining the software for your specific use. **What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?** A few features are not as intuitive or streamlined as would be ideal. For instance, it would be helpful to print directly from the transaction list instead of having to access reports and enter the specific transaction number which had to be found elsewhere first. Some customizations cannot be achieved, though this is minor as there are a robust amount of available options. I have found that it's reasonable to have at least a few workarounds in any software to have it truly fit your needs. I do wish inventory cycle counts could be edited as you may have a typo and need to correct; the ability to make a new adjustment does exist, but it skews the visual history of the cycle counts. **What problems is Acctivate Inventory Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking costs on a rolling value as the system is decremented and new purchases are made of raw materials is extremely beneficial for manufacturing. We have successfully implemented the software for our purchasing side and are beginning to progress to the finished goods and sales side. Then I have to look for each item out of order to enter the lot code. It will often freeze in continuous cycles and the program will shut down. The ease of use that helps me train new employees quickly. The Order Manager that directs the flow of an order from quotation to delivery. **What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?** Some of the journal entries created in QuickBooks after synchronization are difficult to trace. The inability to look up vendor information outside of creating a PO. Acctivate is very reasonably priced for the capacity that it can function. Acctivate is worth a look and the customer service team has been a big help in solving issues with getting the information that I need. The Dashboard is amazing. The inventory management is exactly what we needed. **What do you dislike about Acctivate Inventory Software?** I do wish it was better at reports. Some of the reports that I would like don't exist without Crystal Reports and Crystal Reports seems very expensive per user. I wish I didn't need Crystal Reports to get what I need. Sometimes Acctivate is glitchy and just closes down. Some times it changes the number of pieces I enter on the line items. It does not transfer the invoice reports to Quickbooks very well at all. All of our customer part numbers have to go in the special instructions field but this field does not show up if we email the invoice from Quickbooks. The invoices look horrible when we email them from Quickbooks. **Recommendations to others considering Acctivate Inventory Software:** Almost anything that is not included in Acctivate can be added with addons. Its inventory management but also a CRM built in. No need to use a separate CRM. **What problems is Acctivate Inventory Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Acctivate has helped us for any of our current CRM needs and has everything that we will need for our CRM needs in the future as our company grows. The Dashboard is amazing, giving everyone that logs in a great view of how the business is doing or has been doing. The fact that Acctivate almost acts as a building block that can have addons installed into it to make it more versatile or cover any needs that is not already included is definitely a great benefit. We used to have to manually create labels for every line item that was sold and now its all automated thanks to a report we had created and added to Acctivate. A huge benefit is the Inventory Management. We have more inventory than what can be managed manually so the inventory management has helped us immensely. Our business comes to a halt without inventory so this is a big deal. ### 21. Getting stuck in a loop hole when an error message pops up and you can't exit without restarting the program. For example, when entering a transfer, if you enter the wrong warehouse it will not let you simply change it. You need to reenter it completely with all the same information again. Example: reports - order processing - salesperson sales - your fields are only date and salesperson. The name of the report is Product class by salesperson you don't even offer the product class. On alot of the reports the fields are defaulted to egual to and you don't have the option to change it. Another thing is 40% of the time you when you are trying to sign in you can't get your log in to pop up. It freezes up alot. You pointed out that the Product Class by Salesperson report does not offer product class as a filter, and that is true by default, but Admin users with access to the Configuration Manager can quickly add Product Class as a filter in the Report Catalog.
