What do you like best?

I value 360Learning's employees and feel they are the company's best asset. Yes, 360Learning is an incredible tool, but it would not be what it is without the people there to guide their clients. I also love the interactive component which encourages employees to engage with colleagues within the training sessions. I love the relatively new feature: video pitch. It's a great way to keep employees engaged and interacting with training sessions, while removing the traditional powerpoint.

I also love how user-friendly this platform is. I will admit it took me awhile to feel comfortable enough to start creating content, however once I got over that hump, I couldn't believe how straightforward it is to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only potential downside is not having enough people internally to work on getting 360Learning up and running in your company. This of course depends on what your company's current training sate is like. Personally, we are trying to create an entire training program within 360 from basically the ground up. There are very few personnel dedicated to working on this project so it's extremely heavy lifting for us. However, for companies that already have training programs in place and are looking to improve them, this would be much easier to leverage. Additionally, if companies had more personnel resources that could be assigned to own the project, that of course would make it easier as well.

However, this can be avoided obviously through personnel, but also through third parties. Personally, we have had a great experience working with OpenSesame for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure you have a team designated for implementing 360Learning. Determine the size of the team based on the amount of pre-existing training material your company has. For example, if you have a large database of training material that you are wanting to simply "dump" into 360Learning without much modification, you will not need as big a team as if you are looking to either build or completely revamp your training material. It may be in your company's financial best interest to prepare your training materials prior to starting a contract with 360Learning, as it has proved timely for us personally. If you're not interested in the time commitment of building your own material, consider the fact that 360 has resources to provide ready-to-use courses from third parties (i.e. OpenSesame which I highly recommend)! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're leveraging 360Learning to give more employees, including our remote workers, access to training content within the company. We're also using 360 as a way to identify knowledge gaps among our employees, and pinpoint future training opportunities. We're excited to leverage the video pitch tool as a way to help coach our sales reps out in the field on different aspects of their selling process. 360 is also encouraging our company to provide training content in innovative and new ways.

One benefit that I wasn't thinking of initially, but have sense realized after creating company-specific content, is collaboration. Building training content requires a team effort. You may find yourself collaborating with employees you never expected, or haven't had a chance to work with closely before. I am very appreciative of this unexpected benefit!
