I create a lot of documents in Affinity Publisher and use Designer to either modify svgs and/or create digital stickers for my planners and notebooks that I sell. Designer makes it very easy to do this and I love how I can work in Publisher and then use the Designer Persona (at least that is what I believe it is called) at the top of the toolbar to make modifications with automatic updates to my original document.
Easy, peasy. I also love using it to draw elements, too. It is taking me a bit to learn as I am used to Adobe products.
Additionally, I will say that their customer support is top notch. They helped me out by explaining their multitude of export options in Publisher.
Plus, you receive so much value for the price that you pay. One time fee, one time license. No subscription. That right there is enough for most people to make the switch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe it is just me yet I have noticed that since the latest update, it has been crashing a lot. I am bit hesitant to update again due to this so that is what stands out to me right now. I know that I have installed updates before and not had any issues.
Another thing, too, is that I am still used to Adobe Illustrator's interface and so it is still taking me some to adjust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
