Text on a circle or any path takes just a few steps. This video will be better than a text write up of the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA0yLhyJ55E

Draw a circle, choose Artistic Text tool, put a cursor above circle outline/edge - cursor will change and just left click to put your text around your shape. Then to separate them from each other convert them to curves and delete your path (circle or whatever your path was).

It's pretty easy. After drawing your circle, select the text art tool in the toolbar, then move your cursor near the border of the circle and the cursor will change to match the text with the curves of the circle. Then click and type your text. That's it. I hope it works for you.

Create a circle or draw a curve shape of your liking. Make sure the shape is still selected , then click hold the text tool to display the type of text, click "Artistic Text". Mouse cursor will change to text tool icon - "A" with a crosshair. Hover the cross hair on the edge or line of the circle/curve object. The cursor will change to icon "T" with a curve line under it. Click the edge, the circle/curve will turn into an active path - Start typing or pasting your text. Your text will flow along the path.
