"One of the few intuitive and functional vector graphics software on the market"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

I love this software because it is one of the few intuitive and functional vector graphics app, that requires minimal prior knowledge. The user interface is well organized and the tools available are complete and effective. Its price is OK. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

Unfortunately, I have noticed some lag and some software crashes when working with projects containing many large raster resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick and uncomplicated design and creation without the subscription."
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

An amazing and capable alternative to Adobe. Quick learning curve, and has all the tools you need to create top class digital and print ready documents and assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

Not really any dislikes. Potentially the combatibility with opening Adobe file types and how it formats these when opened. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"As well as InDesign"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

Its ease of use. Integration with the Affinity suite without leaving the application. Many features. I often use it as an alternative to InDesign for a cost-effective option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

It may be the interpretation of the software on non-native files to the Affinity suite. (There is a difference and sometimes display bugs) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great alternative to Adobe InDesign"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

Affinity Publisher is a powerful and affordable software for creating professional-looking layouts and designs. I like that it has a lot of features and tools that are easy to use and customize. It also integrates well with Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, which makes it a complete suite for graphic design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

One thing that I dislike about Affinity Publisher is that it lacks some advanced options that InDesign has, such as data merge, scripting, and ePub export. It also has some compatibility issues with some file formats, such as PDF and PSD. I hope that these features will be added in future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for desktop publishers who have embraced the Affinity ecosystem"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

Below are the features that have been a great boost for me:

- Integration with the full Affinity Suite

- A single, one-time purchase rather than a subscription model

- Comparable features to Adobe and other desktop publishing software, making it very easy to use

- The iOS mobile app is fantastic!

- Simple implementation on desktop and all other client options

- Intuitive controls for adding assets to the documents, especially via the Affinity design suite Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

- Sometimes, depending on the layout effects I am working with, the text flow tool can take time to get to behave the way I would like it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cheaper alternative to Adobe"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

From the makers of Adobe Photoshop and Indesign, so the overall interface is very similar and easy to use. It can intregate seamless with Designer and Photo software. It is very cost effective with just a one off payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

Even though it is very similar to Indesign some of the features are different and the shortcuts take time to get use to moving from Adobe but not enough to put you off.

The only downside is that it do not have the ability to create interactive PDFs like Indesign Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great, easy to use!"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

Intuitive and user friendly, It didn't take me long (with no knowledge of adobe or anything) to use affinity in a way that suited my needs. If I had any issues, there are many tuturials online that are easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

Sometimes when using this product, a button or setting gets bumped and it is very hard to find out what happened and how to fix it. Maybe an "are you sure" pop up screen would be helpful in those circumstances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super software and not expensive"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

This software has everything I need to make workshop booklets and flyers in a single package, linking nicely with the Affinity 'designer' software too. It allows for very professional looking outputs. I have made multi-page booklets for stem outreach, and thw software makes it easy to see multiple pages and zoom in and focus on the ones you need to at any time, but making it easy to switch quickly between pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

Early on, it was difficult to pick up technically, and I stil haven't really explored all of the features. I have been able to get what I needed out of the software from the more basic functions, but still making it look professional..I found it quite daunting to try the advances features. "A Solid Contender in Desktop Publishing"
What do you like best about Affinity Publisher?

It provides useful desktop publishing tools at a more budget-friendly, purchase once price compared to something like Adobe InDesign which locks you into a never ending subscription model. The basics of operating the software are easy to pick up and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Publisher?

Affinity Publisher is not as widely used as the Adobe program. As a result there are less learning resources available from the smaller community. You can also run into some compatibility issues with people that are used to doing everything with Adobe. That's not an unfixable problem but it can be annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
