I would advise you to take your time -> get the hang of it by using the content research process to its full potential. Go through different topics, and, try to identify your main keyword / parent topic, rather than focusing on smaller volume, super long-tail keywords. Real time alerts to errors and changes to our site are very helpful - especially when a lot of hands are touching the site and it is hard to see who is doing what. The other benefit is that because it is real time it is much more satisfying to address content issues while using Content King over other SEO/technical services like Moz or Semrush because when you fix issues you instantly get updates to the fix and site health. With Moz or Semrush you could have not actually fixed and issue such and you have to wait until you resubmit a crawl to find out it wasn't fixed where Content King gives you instant feedback. The credit structure/use is extremely cost-prohibitive for anyone that isn't an enterprise business. I had to do a lot of digging/asking questions to their customer support team to understand the nature of how plans worked and what was included — it's quite confusing. It's also confusing that MarketMuse is offering a lifetime deal to an audience of startup entrepreneurs when some of the best functionality relates to using several $100 credits per article. It's not something I can personally justify for every article I create for clients, as there would be no profit left for me. And SEO content is my main product offering!
