The system is user-friendly and provides the tools we need to manage and track trade, download insights, upload data, and integrate with other internal systems. Its automation capabilities have also been an integral part of our success. **What do you dislike about Vividly?** The overview module is slow, but it doesn’t interfere with our workflow. It’s more of a “nice to have,” but it would be great if Vividly could improve the overview snapshot by making it more functional and faster, and by adding the ability to customize the view based on our business needs. **What problems is Vividly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Vividly, our workflow was extremely manual. Deductions-to-promotion matching had to be done in Excel and then uploaded into NetSuite, and we didn’t have strong visibility into overall promotion performance. Tracking and managing promotional budgets and spend also wasn’t streamlined, so it often felt like every step required hands-on effort. After launching their DRM tool, our deductions matching improved from a 40% match rate to 93%. Our visibility into promotional insights has increased significantly, too. Sales can now clearly see how promotions performed and use that information to plan for the following year. Reporting has improved as well, giving finance a clearer understanding of accruals at the indirect customer level. Previously, our financial snapshots didn’t provide indirect customer data; now both finance and sales have what they need for better planning, budgeting, and reporting. On top of that, Vividly’s deduction reconciliation integration now pulls deductions automatically, instead of requiring the deductions team to upload them manually. Also great to hear the usability and analytics are hitting the mark. A big part of what we’re trying to do is make TPM not feel like… TPM - less clunky, more intuitive, and actually useful in real time vs. something you have to wrestle with after the fact. Additionally, I can see various financial graphs around the deduction total spend year to date versus plan. It's also helpful to view other key points like total deductions by retailer or promo. These features are really helpful for planning out future years and understanding the ROI. **What do you dislike about Vividly?** I think the reconciliation file sent could be improved. We currently have to do a series of additional Excel formulas to get the promotion plan period into the deduction file. The reconciliation file could be a bit more accounting focused. It should be accrual-based, but right now it's cash basis, so we have to manually update to reconcile for the period we're closing. Every month, we have to manually update to record the proper period for which cleared and settled transactions need to be reconciled. Also, the promotion period needs to be manually added for us to be able to recognize everything where it needs to go. **What problems is Vividly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vividly helps validate deductions for our wholesale retailers and manage disputes, even for unplanned shortages. Additionally, I look back and think the initial setup was perfect; Brianna did an exceptional job in onboarding the team and getting us up to date on how to use the platform. **What do you dislike about Vividly?** There are some aspects in which the Vividly team has to own that I think would be more beneficial if we could. For instance, just editing promotions, changing title names easily, if we make mistakes and write off a deduction that was actually meant to be disputed, I wish there was an easier way to find those things after an action has already been taken. I usually have to reach out to Brianna Franklin who then has to assist me. It's imperative to have software that easily immerses itself into our day-to-day operations while providing a dashboard that showcases the performance of our top retailers. I've vetted other trade software in the space that doesn't come close to the machine-learning capabilities that Vividly has. At Perfect Snacks the team expanded to better serve our retail partners and Cresicor was an easy program to teach and get all the salespeople up to speed. **What do you dislike about Vividly?** There isn’t anything to dislike about Cresicor. Perfect Snacks was one of the early adopters and the team at Cresicor was very accommodating with regular upgrades to meet our business needs. **What problems is Vividly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cresicor allowed Perfect Snacks to get out of excel sheets that were inefficient to track trade and deductions. This led to a better deduction process and promotional planning. Cresicor also gave the ability to do what if scenarios to see how different retailer deals would affect overall trade.
