**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

The professionalism of the training manager.

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

Virtuagym was brought to me by one of their sales representatives who made me believe that the application would specifically meet all my expectations, such as the integration of the virtuagym calendar with my Google calendar.
They don't offer any free trial and you therefore have to risk a much higher price than some competitors like MY PT HUB who offer exactly the same thing for 4 times less. Dissatisfied with the product, they not only refused me a refund ($474) but wanted to force me to pay for a 3-month commitment ($175/month) for a product that I will not be using. Having tried several applications, I strongly recommend this company. Try MY PT HUB instead.

Do not use virtuagym. I highly recommend you another competitior.

**What problems is Virtuagym solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are not solving anything and try to charge me for an app I am not using.

**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

As a system, the Gateway Region YMCA loves the engagement features included in the system; a Facebook news-like feed, challenges, goal tracking. We have been very pleased with the number of features included in the app. We have enjoyed working with our Account Manager, MariLu. She has truly been like a partner with us, and she is always willing to brainstorm new ideas with us.

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

As a YMCA, our clientele ranges from young to old. Part of what drew us to Virtuagym is its mobile app component AND corresponding website option. This has been very helpful in reaching our seniors. However, some features are not available on the website. And we struggled a little at launching the app because we didn't want people to create their own accounts. I also wish that there were a few more development customization options - both with some helpful new features and some language that is unique to the YMCA.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuagym:**

Virtuagym, through our Account Manager, has really demonstrated a willingness to partner with us. "Our issue" is truly "OUR issue"! It's such a relief to have someone that we know is just as invested in our success as we are. There are so many features within Virtuagym, some that you may not even know you need/want. To me, that is the best part about them. There are so many options for us to meet the needs of our members!

We are using Virtuagym to share our class schedules, collect bookings, schedule tours, share workout plans and communicate branch changes/registration/engagement marketing

**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

The onboarding to the new system was superb and we have been supported by our own dedicated account manager throughout.  The member app is the best I have seen and very configurable. Our members have been very positive and we have some great feedback. The new business analytics reporting module is very fast to load and gives you all the ma engagement insights you could want, but you can also export the entire database if necessary and create your own reports and filters. The "groups" feature is like having your own internal Facebook group and is so easy to use. This is supported by some great marketing tools that allow you to create your own adverts within the ad. The main programming and workout tool has thousands of exercises, all virtual exercise demos and you can you these to simply create your own workouts and share with members. The built-in partner FOOD app is also great and recently has been updated to improve it further. It is like My Fitness Pal with all the same features but no integration is necessary as it is built into each client's app. They can use this for tracking food, macros, nutrients and for food diaries.

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

The group messaging feature allows you to email any group updates to your members, but a more comprehensive email module would be great. Good news though, I understand this may be on the way in the near furture.

It provides a best in class app with a robust access control module and is also highly configurable.

**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

Easy to use, good guidance at the start of use, and if you encounter any issues after starting, the helpdesk is quickly reachable. The program is also easy to use for customers, both via the PC and with the app!

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

Haven't come across anything so far, so I have nothing to report here!

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuagym:**

Easy for both the customer and the organization, and you can start quickly!

**What problems is Virtuagym solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reservations can be made for each group training. This was not possible in our previous customer system. Additionally, running a direct debit is much easier and it's clearer when payments have failed. It's also nice that customers can be deleted from the system. This was also not possible in our previous program, which resulted in a lot of clutter in the system.

The ease of scheduling and onboarding was fantastic! You can ask as many questions as needed. Mateo R. was fantastic in educating me on how everything works!

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

The only thing that could be fixed is the payments to the program, since it is outside of the USA my bank requires special permissions to make the payment each month.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuagym:**

If you are looking for a fitness program for your small gym or personal training this is the one! All the others are super expensive. This one fits all of your needs in one program!

**What problems is Virtuagym solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems so far, and everything else is smooth sailing.

Support and onboarding. Very thourough. All the features you need for your business, not perfect, but there is nothing like it.

Some features need improvement, like the way workout and Food section are set-up, but they keep improving, so not too many comlaints

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuagym:**

Don't let the pricing scare you... Trust me, you don't want to migrate all your customer data if you choose a cheap alternative (wich is fine of course)
Think about what you want for your customers and business. Maybe you don't need workouts or food tracking. They have multiple options for that as well

**What problems is Virtuagym solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My online customer journey has greatly improved! It takes valuable time of my hands, because alot is automated.

I run my class schedules, my memberships, my workoutprograms and food tracking for all my customers. super easy

For customers in Norway it can be a bit difficult to get access to the app. With that said, our costumers that are using the app seems happy with all the features :) (and so are we)

Virtuagym is providing great coaching tools and member management. We have been incredibly grateful for the app during the pandemic, offering our customers an online training solution when our gyms were closed.

Very intuitive with almost no need for help - our customers (60,000 of them) use it every day and we have almost no questions or service issues!

Not really any that I can think of other than we would love for the Virtuagym Platform to be even more integrated than it already is with our other payment software

The friendly and knowledgeable staff have been great! Robyn was very helpful and patient in answering all my questions before signing on. Mateo did a great job in explaining the features, how to use each system setting, setting up membership, and has been extremely helpful as I launched the software to my clients. I love that I am able to book a call with him in a reasonable amount of time so I can help answer any of mine or my clients' questions as we go live. Thank you!!

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

Nothing so far, but doing payroll may be a challenge based on conversations with the onboarding team. I'll have to wait and see as I haven't tried yet.

The best part is that I am able to combine 2 apps into one by bringing community and communication into the same platform as memberships, billing and scheduling. The ability to customize the app and the intuitiveness makes for a much better clients experience.

**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

The onboarding process was smooth and made so much sense! Mateo helped guide us at every step of the way! Anytime I had a question there was a quick resposne and he was very helpful. I really felt like he went above and beyond to help us get things up and runnining.  Each training session was recorded and notes provided so it made it really easy to go back and review what we had covered in each session. I felt empowered after each session and everything was really user friendly! I would highly recommend Virtuagym to anyone looking to make thier life easier by streamlining the process of running a business!

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

The main thing I think is lacking from the Virtuagym offerings is a card swiping feature/ device. With some of our larger events, it is nice to have people pay at the door if they don't get a chance to download the app ahead of time. Also, having to log into PayPal or Netbanx to refund customers is an additional step that is needed. It would be nice if the Virtuagym app also moved the money on your behalf.

DO IT!! They walk you step by step. You cannot lose!

**What problems is Virtuagym solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtuagym has helped me with minimizing admin work. Before Virtuagym, it was a very manual process when people would sign up for our classes. There was a lot of tracking involved, and now it practically runs itself! It is a significant weight lifted off my shoulders to have the app supporting our admin functions. I have more time for me!

I really love everything about the software. I have no complaints.

Nothing really; it takes a lot of time to create, but it's worth it in the end.

I can create virtual content for my clients who are not comfortable in an environment with a lot of people. Before, I referred calorie counting apps to my clients, and now I don't have to; everything is located within my own customized app.

Jan and the team at Virtuagym have been consistently helpful and happy to engage with any questions or queries we may have. Having the Virtuagym platform in place with our clients has made our roles as corporate wellness providers much more manageable and allows us to view where we stand with each individual staff member. 

The team has always been a great help and has acted quickly and efficiently when any problems have arisen. With regular meetings and face-to-face time with our account manager Virtuagym has been a fantastic partner.

A different payment system would be beneficial as being based in Ireland GoCardless is very rarely used compared to Strype.

Virtuagym has acted as our direct contact method with individual staff members within the companies that we work over these extended lockdown periods.

**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

Finding the perfect app to support my business was one of the most stressful things I have had to do yet. However, the second that I connected with VirtuaGym, my stress dissipated to nothing. Once I binded with virtua gym they connected me with my own personal onboarder, Mateo Ronderos. Mateo could not have been more amazing, he answered every question I had with ease, and when he did not have an answer, he did everything he could to find one as fast as possible. He even went as far as collaborating with my website management time to make sure everything integrated perfectly. I genuinely do not know what I would have done without Mateo's guidance and am so grateful to have had his assistance in creating my dream health and wellness platform.

I love the onboarding process.  My onboarding specialist, Mateo Ronderos has been awesome.  I have a very fast timeline with the start of my program and Mateo has been so helpful every step of the way.  Answering all my questions and explaining things to me in terms I can understand.  The weekly tasks are very helpful and I am getting more familiar with the platform every time I log on.  With Mateo's help I am ready for my launch!  I feel the pricing is very fair for everything you receive.

Can't really think of anything I dislike.  Its very user friendly, I do forget some of the things we went over with onboarding, but the help function has been extremely helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Virtuagym:**

Don't look any further, this is the platform you need to use!

More opportunities for more clients to get healthy and fit.  One of the benefits I really love is how I can assign ready made workouts for my clients.  It is saving me time and being so hard on my body by teaching classes all the time.

**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

Virtualgym software allows us to manage our members, provide access to the gym facilities, communicate with our members in a very dynamic way and help our members in their training. It's a very interesting all-in-one package which cover almost all needs ! 
During the COVID pandemic, even with our Gym closed, the Virtuagym solution helped us to keep the link with our members using social posts and proposing exercises via the app.
Moreover, Virtuagym team is very supportive in our small issues and is open for innovation on their plateform.

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

Integration with other well-known fitness/sport plateforms/apps like Strava/Garmin could be more developed.

We are satisfied with the tool offered by Virtuagym: the fitness coaching app is an added value to our offer and allows our coaches to closely monitor their clients thanks to fitness assessments and personalized training. The client follow-up is very thorough, and regular contact with Virtuagym allows us to develop the tool according to our needs and benefit from the regular improvements made to the service.

I've had one great representative after another; special thanks to Juan Pablo who was the absolute best from start to finish.  Aside from that, the software itself has been wonderful. It has a  modern design that contains so many great features for both clients and fitness professionals! Very helpful in terms of management.

I wish Virtuagym it provided confirmation emails when clients make Webshop purchases and/or book classes. Also, for appointment scheduling it would be more convenient if you could set personal availability to future events as oppose to booking each slot one at a time.

Customer service is poor, they don't have an office in the US. Onboarding process is very poor and very long while we are paying an unfinished product. Most of the built in features like 'workouts' 'challenges' and 'schedule' are very limited and not easy to use.

When approaching Virtua,  no reply.  When approaching their senior management on Linked-In,  semi-interested reply.  When finally following up,  sales persons seem unaware of basic things like time-difference.  Zero interest, seemingly, for international business.  Even when given direct contact details,  still fail to contact.    Such a shame.  I was willing to do away with our current system and was already sold on their product, but their sheer incompetence in communication has left me wondering what the real customer experience is.

The 1000 spam-emails about seminars, while failing to communicate.   Completely self-absorbed,  meaningless webinar pushing, forgetting the  (potential) customer.

It's a full featured fitness club package. Lots of bells and whistles. Probably good for big club owners.

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

After sale customer service is marginal, at best. Product doesn't align with small business, independent personal trainers, or any online fitness business model. The videos showing exercises do not emphasize correct form. Software is awful at allowing you to add exercises and keep them to reuse. This has NO ability to support an online business. It's a big box gym software only, no matter what their advertising says. Lastly, when the pandemic hit I called all my vendors explaining all my business was gone for March/April. Every one of them worked with me to keep my subscriptions current even though my payments would be less than was owed. They all gave me a grace period at reduced rates except VirtuaGym. The only way they could help was if I paid the remaining 6-months fees, then they could shut it off with no monthly fees... How's that for "compromise"? I couldn't pay them, they threatened with collections, I said "you can't get blood from a rock", then threatened to shut it off. I'm back to making what I was before the lockdown and am doing fine with all the vendors that worked with me to help me through a few months. You know I'm done with virtuagym as soon as they're paid off. Do a web search for virtuagym and subscription fees before you buy. I waited too late to see this was a HUGE issue.

Originally it worked in writing personal plans and sending with videos, but once I looked more closely at other programs, their videos and flexibility in writing custom programs is MUCH better.

**What do you like best about Virtuagym?**

I like the interface. As an owner of a gym or fitness platform, it's really easy to manage all the different options within the tool.

**What do you dislike about Virtuagym?**

There is nothing I dislike but maybe the pricing could be even a little bit better.

**What problems is Virtuagym solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a community and selling (online) products.

The app is very good. And we like the extra's as the Fitnation Webinars.
And we are happy with the coaching module.

We would like to see more financial data
