**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

I like how TipHaus takes the burden off me as a payroll processor. The accuracy it provides is a big part of getting things right for our staff. Their ease of checking into tickets is amazing, and I utilize it all the time. TipHaus makes the restaurant business tip pooling so much easier with their amazing formats. They also have some of the best customer service techs in their field of expertise. The initial setup was incredible, thanks to Louis who was instrumental in getting us set up. I've never had an unresourceful or uneducated tech experience with them.

The integration for TipHaus to Square has been challenging.

I use TipHaus to distribute tips accurately, taking the burden off me as a payroll processor. It simplifies restaurant tip pooling with great formats and customer service, ensuring precise accuracy for our staff.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

TipHaus has saved hours of time trying to manage tips to employees. We are primarily cashless. Once we configured the rules, it's as simple as verification of payouts - which I'd rather have then automated, and then initiate payouts after verification which we do daily. Support has been top notch for questions. Using GoTab as our POS the integration has been seemless. We are using Tip Pool Sharing with Time Of Sale and it's working great and fair! The Payroll reports have made life simplified for reporting to our accountants. .

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

Took about three weeks to get the rules and understanding in place. Originally thought the initiate payout automatically, which is an enhancement being developed, would be nice but really like that I can verify manually before initiating tip payout- doing this daily is easy

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hours of Manually cashing out tips daily , yet employees get their credit card tips daily instead of waiting two weeks on paycheck

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

It was easy for me to set up TipHaus.

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

I don't like that they charge $1.25 each night for direct deposit. If you want to get your money into your bank the next day, they charge you $1.25, which my coworkers and I hate. Their cards aren't supported by services like Venmo or Cash App. The transfer to your bank is supposed to take 5-7 business days, but it often takes longer. It happened to me once this week, and my coworkers have had the same issue. I preferred when my job just paid me out with cash.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get tipped out through TipHaus, but there's a $1.25 charge for direct deposit. They put money on a card that's not supported by Venmo or CashApp, most of the time you can use it elsewhere, but transfers to your bank sometimes take longer than 5-7 business days.

The system is well built and intuitive- ‘set it and forget it.’ End of shift is simple and fast process. There’s no conflict. The integration with our POS is clean. I’m a believer.

I'm happy with TipHaus. I can't think of a downside when compared to how we handle tip management before.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earned Tip Access was great for the employees, but the game-changing part was for the management. Before we switched, 85–90% of payments were done by credit cards. We had days with 0 cash, and sending checks and making bank runs became very time consuming. TipHaus changed that.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

Fast setup, seamless Toast POS integration, huge time savings, employee transparency, retention boost. No more managing spreadsheets = less human error and time/money savings. Once your rules are dialed in, there is less times spent with employees who feel they were stiffed by their tipper.

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

Honestly, nothing so far, it just works.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The TipHaus software allowed us to finally have coherent and granular tip distribution rules on autopilot. No more spreadsheets with complex formulas and manual inputting of values. We've always wanted to have a more robust tip out structure and were limited to our level of Excel expertise. We tried Teamwork by SpotOn, KickFin and Toast Tips Manager, but none allowed us to EASILY get the results we needed. We're saving hundreds of dollars per month in labor due to no manual inputting at the end of the night and payroll by our managers. We have less staff complaints due to them not getting the tips they felt they were entitled to (now they can easily see all the information). The next day tip out is great for our staff as they were originally dreading the fact that they would have to wait until payday to receive their tips.

Tiphaus is user friendly, works well with our structure and provides full transparency with our team members. The date metrics pie charts are an excellent tool we use daily.

Least helpful is the tip sharing and tip pool breakdowns in the employee app. A bit confusing for them since it doesn't really show accurate earnings due to our rules.

Tiphaus automates pooling among all staff. Allows for easy tracking and reporting. Ensures legal compliance. Tiphaus reduces manual errors and boosts team morale in the process.

The seamless integration with our POS, the ease of implementation, the level of customization (which fit our exact needs), the willingness to be creative, and the amazing customer service.

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

I can't think of a thing I dislike about TipHaus. I do wish it integrated directly to my specific payroll provide and the payroll synch can take up to 10 minutes (for our largest location) but it's a small price to pay for the amount of time and energy TipHaus saved our business.

TipHaus took our tip distribution process from the dark ages to what a solution only a world class software company could design.

Reporting isn’t difficult, but it could definitely be more user-friendly.

Ability to customize tip pooling that best fits our operations. 
Integration with POS. 
Customer support is very responsive and easy to work with. 
Interface is easy to use and manage.

Integration has had some hiccups in the past but it has been resolved quickly by support. 
Wish the subscription was billed directly to us instead of through our Clover bill.
Wish it had a direct integration with Homebase for payroll.

Tip management. Previously used google sheets to manually manage tip pooling which we had to dedicate a lot of hours to. Tiphaus has saved us many hours by being able to automatically capture our tip pooling and allocate to employees. It also has made it a lot easier to be transparent with our employees on the tips they are earning. Overall, it has saved our managers many hours in admin work.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

I find the TipHaus team to be tremendously helpful for our automated tipping needs at both our travel sites and park locations. The QR code tipping feature has been an awesome experience, and our guests love it, also providing us great feedback. The support from the TipHaus team during the rollout has been phenomenal. Additionally, the system itself is very easy to use, adaptable, and allows for self-service, which I find incredibly valuable.

I'd like to see more dashboards and more audit reporting at my fingertips.

I use TipHaus to automate tipping, reducing manual payroll complexities and enhancing guest experience with QR code tipping.

From an admin point of view, we eliminated manual calculations, saving us countless hours and cutting the associated admin costs. From an employee's point of view, we gained their trust due to the system transparency and gave them a tool better to understand their pay (and the business).

Earned tip access, I don't like the concept for our restaurants and have not offered it.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

TipHaus makes tip distribution a piece of cake. The system is extremely easy to navigate and intuitive to set up all necessary tip rules for your business. It syncs frequently as well as on demand with the POS system that captures hours, sales, and tips. It provides you with the detailed breakdown of information and you can download a report to upload into your payroll system in no time. You can even have this report customized to your needs. On top of that, their customer support is highly responsive, friendly, and professional no matter the time zone you are in.

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

We had absolutely no challenges over past two years.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TipHaus saves us tens of hours spent working on spreadsheets we used to distribute the tips. It eliminates human errors and allows for easy access to distribution details. It also helps us catch other payroll errors that need correction such as a tip under an incorrect job code.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

We’ve been using TipHaus across our full-service and quick-service Ivar’s Seafood Restaurants for several years now, and honestly, it’s been a fantastic experience from day one. The platform handles tip distribution automation and reporting for us, and it does everything with barely any work on our end.

What really stands out is how seamless the integration is with both our POS and payroll systems. Everything flows smoothly, the system is super intuitive, and it's been a huge time-saver for our managers. Our employees also appreciate the transparency it brings to tip calculations - there’s no confusion or second-guessing, which has really helped build trust and clarity across the team.

On top of that, TipHaus support has been incredible. Anytime we’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve been quick to respond, thorough, and just genuinely helpful. They don’t feel like a vendor, but rather a partner who is rooting for Ivar's to be successful. We’re always kept in the loop with product updates and even broader insights about what’s happening in the restaurant industry. That kind of connection is rare and very much appreciated.

There really isn’t much we dislike about TipHaus — it’s been a fantastic tool overall. If we had to point out one thing, it would be that, on occasion, we notice duplicative employees showing up in the system, which can require some manual cleanup. However, this is a minor issue compared to all the benefits the platform provides. The ease of use, transparency, and excellent customer support far outweigh this small inconvenience.

TipHaus has streamlined our entire tip share process and saved us a substantial amount of time each week with validation and payroll processing.

I do not have any feedback in regards to dislikes about the platform.

We used a manual process to prior to Tip Haus. This was controlled by each restaurant location and then pulled by payroll. The process was very inefficient and often led to many hours spend reviewing sales and hours work to correct errors to ensure accuracy. Our payroll time spent on tip share has reduced 10+ hours bi-weekly since the launch of the platform.

Tiphaus provided my business with an intuitive solution for our credit card tip dilemma.. Tiphaus saves my management staff about 2 hrs a week in credit card tip calculation time (payroll and end of day) and it saves me having to go to the bank every few days to get more cash.. NOT TO MENTION the safety factor so I don't constantly have excess amounts of cash on me.. the support for TipHaus is absolutely top notch ESPECIALLY Louis!!!

Have not ran into any issues as of yet!!!

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

TipHaus has been instrumental in helping Hideaway Pizza’s Tip Management. We’re currently using it across our 23 locations and saving over 12 hours per week, about 48 hours each month, by replacing time-consuming cash tip-outs and bank trips with automated daily tip payouts through Earned Tip Access! This does not even take into consideration the time saved by our managers. Truly a game changer for Hideaway Pizza operations.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

Tiphaus is the best tip solution on the market! We have been using the solution for almost two years and we have been very happy with everything. It has allowed our tip policies to be more transparent to our staff and they can always see how they did for the shift the next day which they all love. Our managers use it on a daily basis however it is only for a few minutes a shift so it does not take up much of their time. 

They also have a lot of built-out customization that you just don't see with other solutions, they give you so many options on how you can setup your rules so they can handle all kinds of scenarios.  

The implementation was very smooth. They were able to stand up the solution very quickly for us with no issues and the integration into our POS system was as simple as pressing one button. They were able to walk us through all the different scenarios of set-up very quickly. The solution is very end user-friendly from a back-end standpoint and for front line staff.

They have one of the best support teams you will ever encounter. If you need anything you can just start up a chat conversation with them, they always get back to you within a few minutes and they get things done very quickly!

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

There is nothing we dislike about their solution. Everyting works seemlessly and our employees and managers are very happy.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tip distribution can be complicated and very time comsuming so Tiphaus has been able to solve that. We are now only spending a few minutes a day vs hours a day when trying to complete the tip distrubiton and it has allowed us to have more transparancy to our employees.

I love the customization the most. Anything that you can't do yourself in the platform, they will happily figure out with you. It's been fantastic.

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

The most recent launch of V2 actually caused most of my staff to opt out of ETA. Though that part is just a perk for them, so it isn't really a concern for me.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to calculate tips myself. I am also able to automatically back out the delivery tips, that get paid to our delivery guys, from the total tip distribution. Saves me tons of time every week.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

I cannot say enough good things about TipHaus. We've been using their system for tip pooling for 3 years, and the integration with our existing systems like Toast POS has been seamless, saving us immense time and money. Previously, we spent 10-12 hours a week, at a cost of about $1,000, just on tip reconciliation and tip-outs. With TipHaus, we now spend less than 30 minutes a week managing tips for our servers, probably 3-4 minutes a day. Best of all, our staff immediately receives 80% of their tips the next day thanks to the Earned Tip Access feature.
TipHaus’s ability to customize everything allows us to leave the remaining 20% of the tips for their regular paychecks, which helps offset taxes at the end of the year. Our employees love the system and the transparency of their mobile web app. The speed at which they receive their tips has significantly boosted employee satisfaction and retention.
On the rare occasion that we’ve had an issue, Michael and the support team have been phenomenal. Their response time is almost instant, and they work with us until the issue is fully resolved. Everyone is extremely professional and goes above and beyond to help. They’ve even worked directly with some of our staff to quickly resolve any hiccups. You won’t find a better group of people to work with

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

I can honestly say that I don't have any dislikes about this product. It has made all of our livies signifcantly easier and frees up time to work on other projects.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Tip Haus, we manually calculated all of our tip reconciliation for front of house servers. With Tip Haus, it integrates directly into our point-of-sale system. Through it, we are able to set up tip pooling, rules for tip sharing and distribution, and how it calculates the split. We primarily use "Time of sale" tip sharing, so that servers are tipped out based on how long they work each ticket.  

Also, we no longer have to keep large sums of cash on hand, or continually run to the bank for change, as tips are paid out the following day via the Haus Money system. This allows our servers to have 80% of tips owed paid to them the following day, without having to come collect them in person. 

As we are a small company, the extra 10-12 hours a week we save are crucial and allow us to work on other projects, knowing that this is managed.

The best thing about TipHaus is we rarely need technical or any support for that matter. The system is easy to use, tabs out to the penny.

When we first started we had a couple glitches but that was years ago and thousands of transactions. We don't have any issues now.

I jsut wish we had better visibility into redistribution and hold backs. I wish I could see the exact changes to give my team more evidence supoprt it.

Tips to pay card helps desrease error in hand cash handling. It also helps with our employee tip share and reporting.

**What do you like best about TipHaus?**

We pay our managers to run a restaurant, not to be masters of Excel or IT. The ability TipHaus has to very precisely account for tip shares and pools based on ticket level accuracy is lightyears beyond what we've been able to do in the past. Our managers are no longer forced to spend hours entering hours, tips, and percentages into a spreadsheet and eventually claiming that it's close enough out of frustration. The tipped employees know that they will be tipped accurately and fairly based on their actual work rather than relying on a managers calculations.

**What do you dislike about TipHaus?**

The time to receive the daily tip out is not ideal. We would like to be able to get the results at the running of end of day rather than the next morning.  It would also be AMAZING to get a report with both the shifts (hours) for the team member along with the tips they received so we can have a single report to upload for payroll.

**Recommendations to others considering TipHaus:**

Double-check the integration of TipHaus with your POS (Time frame of data flow, how the POS does shifts and pooling, etc.). Make sure there are no odd issues that will hinder your ability to fully take advantage of TipHaus. Get a process setup with how you will record tips in TipHaus and import those results into your Payroll software.

**What problems is TipHaus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are providing a more accurate tip share, with much less time devoted from our managers, and taking out the human error that is constantly muddying up the process.
