**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

I find Kickfin incredibly intuitive and easy to use, which makes setting it up a breeze. Its online capabilities eliminate cash handling issues, allowing seamless tip distribution even when I'm not in the restaurant. This system ensures that servers always receive their tips fast and reliably, enhancing efficiency and peace of mind. Kickfin's simplicity and effectiveness ensure that it just gets things done, making it a dependable solution for my needs.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

I didn't like how the tips were limited to $500. If more than $500 was made, then depending on how much needed to be tipped out the procedure, though easy, would have to be repeated.

I find the product solves cash handling issues, allowing me to manage tips online easily, even remotely. It's intuitive and ensures servers receive their tips consistently, simplifying my workflow.

**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

Software is very easy to navigate, and the customer support has been fantastic so far! They are very quick to respond to any questions, or help with any adjustments needed. I really like that you can set it up to reflect data for each pay period individually. I also like that each section is broken out nicely by tab, making it easy and quick to access.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

It would be nice if you could assign dual roles to individuals. We have some employees who receive tips, but are also responsible for paying out tips to others, so they have to set up two different profiles, one as an employee and one as  manager.

**What problems is Kickfin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to pay our servers out nightly and that is a huge employment incentive in a competitive industry

**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

Kickfin is user friendly for both management and employees. Super simple to use, and set employees up on. Perfect for everyday use.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

The only thing with Kickfin is that a user with admin functions can pay themselves. We have never had in issue, but it could be an issue if someone untrustworthy has that kind of access.

**What problems is Kickfin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kickfin has helped up decrease the amount of money we have to keep on hand, as we are now able to just simply pay our staff's tips electronically. We can also easily go in and double check payments if there is ever a question about tips.

**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

Overall great platform easy to use.  We mainly utilized it for tip dispersement.   Our team really liked how quickly the tips were transferred into their accounts.  We were able to send out tips daily with this platform.  Our staff was able to sign up quickly and easily through a text message.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

The only downside is it could take a long time to reup funds sometimes but overall no complaints.

It helps us keep our staff happy with daily tip dispersement versus waiting for their tips on their paychecks.

What I love about kickfin the most as a manager is not having to deal with so much cash at the end of the day. Was able to make payments at the click of a button, and so so easy.

Nothing, it’s extremely user friendly everything is very straightforward and customer service is helpful if ever needed.

There is little scope of merging with other ERP and payroll software making data reporting for tax not easy at all.
The manual nature of exporting data is a big negative

**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

Like many restaurants, the majority of the tips made to our servers were a credit card tip. We had to run to the bank almost every day to get enough cash out to pay out our servers. We started KickFin and we only go to the bank 2-3 times per month and only for change. Our staff was initially skeptical but they ended up loving it. One server told me that KickFin depositing money directly into her account has helped her manage her personal finances so much better. Now she always has enough money in her account to pay her bills. Servers feel safer as well not having to walk out with large amounts of cash.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

The only downside is navigating federal or bank holidays and the fee. However, with enough planning and organization, those have not been real issues.

**What problems is Kickfin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paying our staff their tips at the end of the night was a real hassle. KickFin has fixed that.

**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

My favorite part about Kickfin would be the reporting functions - especially the "Business Date" feature. With other software and with earlier Kickfin versions, we spent a lot of time simply assigning tips to the correct dates and summing up each day. Now, Kickfin does all that sorting for us - we just plug your reports into a spreadsheet, and we have our answers.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

My least favorite part about Kickfin is easily the date ranges used to pull each report. Kickfin's website tends to crash when pulling more than 800 rows of data, I believe. For us, that's about a month and a half of data. Trying to do any large scale analysis is a pain simply because of how long it takes to pull all the reports. Also, sometimes the date range display glitches, and won't allow you to scroll forward to the current month - you just have to refresh.

**What problems is Kickfin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kickfin solves the problem of manually adding up each day's tips and attempting to tie them back to our internal reporting. We work much faster now; it used to be that we had to interpret the reports from both the tip distributers and our client's own tips tracking system, then compare the two of them. Nowadays, we know for a fact that the Kickfin reports are accurate - we just have to check your reports against our own to see what issues our clients' reports might have.

**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

Being able to pay your staff out immediately and have it hit their bank accounts within 30 seconds to 3 minutes, you can't go wrong. Organized reports of daily payouts. Keeping less petty cash on hand so there is less to steal or less for bad people to grab.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

Mistakes happen. Fat fingers, being tired and not paying attention. Please do a negative amount and return the money if there are mistakes. It would undoubtedly make it cleaner if that could happen. That would be my biggest negative.

It allows us to keep much less cash on hand, which is excellent for several reasons. Less money can come up missing. Less cash for some would-be robber to take. Less opportunity for theft overall.

Kickfin let's me easily pay employees , without having to have cash on hand for the tips. Easy to keep record of payments without having to keep a log. Works perfect!

There's not much to not like. It could be a little easier to dismiss employees , which can be time consuming with the current system. Other than that it's pretty simple.

Kickfin gives more opportunity to not go to the bank. I like not having to go to the bank in a weekly basis. It also helps me keep record of tip distribution, in case a ream member needs help with it.

The best part about Kickfin is how easy it is to use.  The interface is highly user-friendly.  Our tipped team members love they don't have to worry about getting cash to the bank!

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

If there was one thing I could do to improve Kickfin, it would be to have daily/weekly reports sent out so payments can be validated and reconciled with POS reports.

**What problems is Kickfin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Kickfin solved for us was the amount of cash we have to keep in the restaurant.  It also eliminated the need to replenishing our petty cash every week.

**What do you like best about Kickfin?**

Employees love it because they don't need to wait for their CC tips to go on their checks or walk out with wads of cash each shift. Managers love it because you don't need as much cash on hand in the safe. Accounting loves it because it's easier to track than cash and you see what's paid out each night. Been using Kickfin for years and would never do it any other way at this point.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

Big weekends and bank holidays can be frustrating with your retainer- just takes some careful planning (like raising your retainer before holidays) to ensure there's always enough balance to tip out.

Do it, your life will be better.

Setting up new users is very simple and our staff gets their tips paid instantly.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

There really aren't any things I dislike about Kickfin. The only recommendation I can make is having enough funds in the account for long holiday weekends.

We used to have to pay tips in large amounts daily and Kickfin eliminated that by paying it electronically. This saved us many trips to the bank to replenish petty cash on hand. It also helps eliminate cash handling errors.

I love that Kickfin gives my job the opportunity to pay our employees efficiently and with purpose. It's so user friendly and easy to learn.

I don't think there is anything I dislike about Kickfin. It is great and I think more employers should use it!

Our servers used to leave with a lot of money in their pockets which can be unsafe in certain areas. It eliminates that worry and let's their tips go straight to their bank account.

I like being able to pay my crew nightly. They seem to appreciate that as well, greatly.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

I've only had one hiccup with Kickfin, and because the payment didn't go through immediately, the staff ended up double paid.

I know plenty of people in this industry that won't accept a job if they don't receive their tips nightly. Being able to pay people nightly is amazing since more and more companies are putting all tips on paychecks these days.

The ability to pay the tipped employees instantly is amazing. It also eliminates the need to have to keep more cash in the store for tip outs. Very easy to sign people up.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

Nothing. I like everything especially the reports.
Kickfin makes it easy to find and audit the tip reports. If I had to pick one thing to improve it would be the option to link it to a few extra payment methods.

The need to keep cash in the store for tip outs or to have to write checks to our entertainment are no longer necessary. Kickfin solves all those problems with the push of a button.

We have a lot of users, or payees that all use personal logins.  Viewing payments made by each payee is a bit difficult

Messiness, or a general streamlining of our system.  It is also freeing up more time, and creates less confusion in regards to tip sharing

The convenince of not needing to go to the bank every other day is huge. We are able to keep a much smaller amount of cash on site and logging server tips is simplified for us.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

I wish there was a space to write notes about money sent! We tip out employees for various reasons. Most of the time it is for server checkouts, but we also send money out for catering jobs and special events. I have to keep a seperate log sheet in excel to keep track of where and why money is being sent.

**Recommendations to others considering Kickfin:**

It is worth trying for any restaurant. Money is sent directly to server's debit accounts and we are able to monitior money going out easily.

There is less room for error for us when it comes to giving out money. There is less reason to go into our safe often and we can see the exact amount going in and out.

The first is a general description that applies to the entire group of tip payments. It's located on the right hand side of the tip payment screen if you are looking at it on a desktop browser.  Additionally, you can enter in a note for each individual employee's tip payment.  To the right, near the Net Payment amount line, there is a link to "Add Note".  This will open a notes box where you can enter the note for that employee.  The employee can see this note, and the note populates to the Paid Payments report for tracking purposes. Kickfin has proven to be easy to implement and to use. Support and help are always an email or call away and very responsive to our needs. Adding new locations has also been proven to be very easy as well.

I don't think we have dislikes! Our managers and hourly staff have been 100% happy without Kickfin experience. We have also seen them constantly work to improve the product and add features.

If you are looking for a way to automate tipping out hourly team members and to make it easy to administer for them and your managers, I would highly recommend Kickfin.

The ability to maintain and handle less cash while keeping our tipped staff happy and paid in a timely manner. The less cash handling our team does, the more secure and easier things are, for both the teams in the store as well as the corporate staff that audits and checks their work.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

We would like the ability to recover funds that were sent in error, but we do understand the limitations of the tech. Less lag in account replenishment would be nice as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Kickfin:**

The benefits outweigh any of the detractors. Kickfin found us when we desperately needed better options to the old cash tip-out standards. If you rely on armored car services or you and managers are having to continuously do bank runs to replenish your tip money... especially on holidays, this will save you lots of time and money. I personally have saved over 4hrs a week that I would have spent going to the bank, and we save thousands of dollars a month by not needing armored cars any longer.

**What problems is Kickfin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving two main pain points. Cash management is huge by reducing the cash the stores keep on hand and the cash our team walks out with at the end of their shift is a big improvement to security making them much less likely to be a target. Reducing cash management also reduces the chances of internal theft and the amount that might be taken. We have saved thousands of dollars each month by canceling the armored car services since they are no longer needed in our model. The other problem we solve is not actually a problem but an added benefit. Our tipped employees were very leery of the Kickfin and not getting cash in hand at the end of their shift. That attitude quickly changed and is now a benefit many team members mention to their friends and prospective new hires. This has helped maintain and bring in new staff during this difficult staffing period.

Not having a shortage of cash, being able to instantly pay staff and cutting down on the risk associated with staff leaving the property with large sums of money in hand. It's easy to use and learn and train new management staff on and you can easily track usage.

**What do you dislike about Kickfin?**

The only thing that I dislike is having to authenticate the account every day when logging in with proper email. The new way to look back on payments was a little complicated at first before I had a chance to play with it. I do miss having every employee listed for the payments. That would make tracking accurate payments much easier.

**Recommendations to others considering Kickfin:**

Do it! We had very little issue with KickFin since starting use. It's cut down on time and trips to the bank and kept staff safe.

A lot of my staff consists of college students who don't have a bank and that allows them to have money deposited in their accounts. I do think staff is happier and I think we are saving money because we aren't having to deal with the issue of if someone reads the cash out report wrong and gives the wrong amount of money out to staff. Much easier to track any errors when it's all kept in a vault.

From Set up to daily utilization is very easy and user friendly.  I used to have problems balancing out my daily reports since our tip payouts usually exceeded cash receipts, but now everyone is happy and I am not running to the bank on a daily basis to increase our cash bank
