As a new HR professional Mineral has helped me to sift through some of the legal-ease and jargon associated with the job. I have attended a few webinars as well and I like the content and the down to business, get it done approach. MY favorite feature thus far is ability to ask a question (open a case) and have an experience HR professional offer advice and/or counsel. Great stuff and I recommend it! As a one-person HR department managing all facets of HR, compliance, and operations across multiple entities, having access to the Mineral HR platform through our payroll provider, Coastal, has been an invaluable asset. I especially appreciate the ability to receive immediate and reliable HR and compliance advice—whether through the portal or by speaking directly with a knowledgeable advisor. I’ve utilized their assistance on numerous occasions to validate decisions and ensure compliance.

Their extensive library of forms, templates, and resources has saved me significant time and effort, and the regular email updates on employment law changes ensure I stay informed and prepared.

If I had to note one area for improvement, it would be the formatting and design of some of the downloadable forms and documents. While they are functional and legally sound, many of them feel visually outdated and could benefit from a more modern, polished layout for ease of use and presentation. Our small company does not have an HR department. Mineral has made it possible for us to be informed about compliance requirements and even provides tools that make it easy for our company to be compliant with State, Local and Federal requirements without having to hire a dedicated HR person. Without Mineral we would still be in the dark on many HR requirements that allow us to be compliant as well as provide our employees with the information they need about their employment with our company. We are a nonprofit that has been experiencing rapid growth. For years, we were trying to establish an employee handbook, but kept getting stuck with the challenges of having staff in multiple states. Mineral's multi-state Smart employee handbook tool was such a lifesaver. We were able to customize the handbook with ease for our staff's needs. Too many products available to write about. One of the products I use often is, "talk to or send a message" to one of the experts. If you have an immediate concern on how to handle an employee situation, you do not have to spend a lot of time doing research on your own or have to be put on hold when calling a State or Federal Agency. Just submit your question to Mineral, and one of their experts will reply quickly. The second product that I rely on is not having to worry about new compliance issues that can occur with the State your business is located in. Just set-up your company in Mineral, and they make sure you are notified about any changes that are taking place. These are just two examples of what Mineral has to offer.
