I can’t say i have anything in particular that i totally dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, the software is easy to use- user can self-learn. We had many staff members who learned using the system without training. Easy scrolling to view info instead of flipping one page to another to access patient information. Everything is in one page. Easy to use data-entry fields. Use of different colors to distinguish one discipline (PT, OT, ST) to another.Page appearance is not confusing. Management is responsive to its customer inputs. Its customer/technical support is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
According to TherapySync , it will be releasing a completely new and powerful version. At this time, the software is lagging behind from its close competitor- TherapyBoss. The need to sync at the end of the day, when using the offline version is cumbersome and time-consuming. Weak/poor documentation interface and verbiage- which is very important in healthcare. Documentation interface needs revamp to make documentation more compliant and useful. Documentation is more focus on treatments and not on good verbiage for assessments to support medical necessity. No internal validation/verification process- user can skip important fields and system not able to detect and prompt user to complete or correct entries (e.g. therapists often forget to enter vital signs- BP, PR, & RR, pain level and system doesn't prompt user). Many useless reports and system has no option for user to customize date ranges for billing and accounting. TherapSync uses an ambiguous formula to compute fee-per-visit. User role is too general.
