## servicePath CPQ + Reviews
  ### 1. Major Efficiency Gains!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connaire E. | Pricing Specialist II, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

In my role in TPM pricing, I rely on CPQ daily for most of my working hours. I find it to be an extremely efficient tool for handling complex pricing and quoting tasks. It processes uploaded Excel data within seconds, and its built-in rules make it quick and easy to identify and resolve any errors. One of the biggest time savers for me is the ability to edit Excel data directly within the system, eliminating the need to return to the original file and reimport it. I also appreciate the built-in address verification tool, which allows for fast address validation and makes it easy to update addresses on the fly using the convenient search feature.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

I think the data editing capabilities in CPQ could use some improvement. While it offers functionality that is somewhat similar to Excel, I find the user interface could be enhanced, especially when it comes to features like copy and paste. Additionally, filtering through large datasets remains rather time-consuming, as there isn't an option for more advanced filtering, like what you would find with a pivot table.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CPQ has significantly reduced the time it takes me to generate quotes. With the previous software, importing and manipulating datasets with over 1,000 lines could take hours, but CPQ can process imports of that size in under a minute in most cases. For me, the biggest advantage is simply how much faster I can complete my work. Navigating between individual quotes, contracts, and customer details within the system is also extremely straightforward. Additionally, I can maintain much greater consistency in pricing, thanks to the built-in feature that allows me to view historical pricing for the same equipment with just one click. As a result, the second most important benefit for me is the increased consistency it provides.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harrison H. | Business Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

The configuration experts are very knowledgable about their field and it made having complex discussions around selling journeys very easy. When we started our project with ServicePath, we were worried about getting our processes onto the system but they soon put our minds at ease after just a couple of workshops. It has been a long and complex process but they are always ready to listen to feedback and make any changes. They also have given us the ability to request things ontop of the current functionality which would require development on their side.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

It was difficult to access the knowledge base and wasn't always easy to see what documentation was surrounding the work we were doing.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This will help our sales staff to sell complex solutions without needing input from more techincal members of staff. This can increase the number of sales and also reduce the amount of times where solutions are missold.

So far the only problem I'm having is wirh the implementation with Google maps addresses outside of the U.S., but I cannot point if the guilty part is Google Maps or SP

The agility to quote, I'm now able to finish almost duble the number of quotes I could in a day.

  ### 12. servicePath Review (MSP Perspective)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Director Commercial Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2024

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

It delivers fully against our primary aims of speed, accuracy and consistency.
Linkage to CRM and bi-directional integration is very good.
The platform has a lot of capability inbuilt which means you have options around how it can fully utilised.
Continuous evolution and roadmap of the platform.
It allows us to easily manage the governance and approvals of customer quotes.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

Self serve is a challenge because of the complexity of the platform and due to a lack of documentation and user guides.
Data produced by the CPQ generally needs to be exported out of the platform to manipulate or customise.
Customisation is limited.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It means we are now applying consistent rules to how our services are configured and built. Our cost base now sits in a single place where can easily manage and track the evolution of cost changes.
We can now quickly and easily price customer solutions and evaluate in a consistent manner.
The governance of our customer quotes is much more visible and robust as we have linked CPQ to Salesforce and block progression beyond a certain stage based on CPQ approvals.

  ### 13. Flexibility and Functionality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren W. | CPQ Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

ServicePath CPQ excels in its customisation options and flexibilty to our business needs.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

Initial setup and customisation to business processes requires a thoughtful approach.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CPQ ensures accuracy, consistency and governance for us.

  ### 14. Taking CPQ above and beyond

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark B. | Senior Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2023

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

servicePath CPQ greatly improves the process for achieving pricing. Productivity increases with the ability to create complex configuration rules that deliver fast and consistent results.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

As you increase the complexity of the API calls, you will need an experienced programer.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The existing pricing process is very manual and prone to errors.

  ### 15. Helped us transition from a VPN to Cloud based estimating tool.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2020

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

Our team will no longer need to hard wire and VPN in order to process quotes and estimates - this is huge. The interface will save our project management team an enormous amount of time as we can make changes quickly and efficiently. I also anticipate a reduction in (human) errors as we are drastically reducing the quantity of manual entries required. The platform is also helping us transition from an email driven approval flow to something more system based - this will not only help alleviate our email burden but allow for better document management.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

We have a complex business and some of the sync issues with our other systems have taken some time to resolve. We deal with a wide variety of local tax laws that are difficult to capture within the constraints of the platform - we have captured about 90% but there are still holes that I'm not sure we will be able to resolve. The approval and alert system we have in place also has room for improvement, which will be worked and I'm fairly confident we will get where we need to be. Although I am not the administrator, it seems like our improvement and bugs can take a long time to deploy. We have been in soft-launch mode for 9 months.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

The platform may take longer to launch than anticipated.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

servicePath CPQ has allowed us to transition to a more user friendly and time saving platform than what we previously used. We no longer need to VPN to make minor corrections and adjustments to our quotes. There are many benefits, but there is a pretty heavy learning curve for our company - the convert to order process for our specific business has created a lot of confusion during our soft launch, and is still being heavily reviewed and worked on.

  ### 16. ServicePath making life simpler!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dom A. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

ServicePath has made quoting and processing orders within out business more streamlined as it is very intuitive and easy to adopt.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

I have none of real note, however would like to see if we could have most popular products listed at the top as opposed to a search and filter function.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Brilliant solution, once configured correctly it will 100% aid your business.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to generate quotes and convert these into order forms at great ease. This saves time for me as a sales person using the platform

  ### 17. Service Path User Experience DCS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

I feel the most beneficial aspect is the integration with SF.com making everything you need for quoting a customer accessible through one platform and viewable by all.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

It can sometimes be unintuitive and it can cause delays if we require an amendment to a SKU or addition of a new SKU by a Product Manager, meaning delays on quoting customers at times.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The uniformity of the quotes we issue to customers as they now typically follow one format, which is the servicePath quotes. This makes it easier for the customer to interpret as they've generally seen them before and are clear on the format. Another benefit is customer's find the quotes generated by servicePath clear, concise and easy to follow.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire W. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

I find that the program is easy to use and great for ensuring all aspects of our service offerings are available. I specifically like the 'clone' quote tool which enables you to re-quote for another term without having to start all over again.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

Sometimes I feel that there are lot of steps to carry out to perform basic actions but this is due to me being a relatively new user and the more I get used to the program the easier I feel it will become.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Service Path prevents me from having to speak to sales support users in the business as all figures have been commercially agreed so I know I am quoting the correct information to my customer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kerry T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2020

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

Speed to quote, business rules & governance

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

Configured products which are complex in design

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main focus when implementing ServicePath was to streamline our internal quoting and order processes. We wanted a tool where we could centralise all our solutions and services in one place. We also wanted to be able to create more efficiencies within the business, to minimise touch points, simplify workstreams and to reduce costs.

Moving away from the legacy "spread sheet" way of creating customer quotes has been a game changer. By loading our cost models into ServicePath and building configured products we have empowered our Sales Teams to quickly and efficiently create quotes. The business rules functionality has allowed us create automated and bespoke rules for compliance and governance with little room for "user error". As ServicePath continues to evolve we are looking forward to the new updates, features and funtionality it will bring.

  ### 23. Intuitive, easy to use, and saved us so much time and improved efficiency immensely.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh F. | Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2017

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

How easy the product is to use, how easy it is to setup cost structures, how easy it use to setup templates, how easy it is to apply discount policies, how easy it is to change pricing. How easy it is to setup approval workflows, and see P&L reporting. All around I loved this solution as it made my day to day management of products and services so much easier, and so much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

There are some user experience enhancements they could make, to make things a bit more intuitive. These are by far not show stoppers by any means and could simply be my own opinion and bias on how some things should be. Great Product overall, nothing I really dislike about it.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

You wil not find a better solution and a better company to work with. Solution is fantastic but the serice you receive is even better!

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

improve consistency in our proposals and quotes. Remove the manual nature of quote and proposal production. Speed up time and improved efficiency in price creation, and management of new and existing products/services as it relates to costs, margins, P&L tracking, discounting, approval flows. I really appreciate the continuous updates and releases we get from the product developers, without breaking our current modules or causing downtime. The support individuals that respond swiftly, whether it's a platform inconvenience or request for development guidance which they manage to provide in a timely fashion.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

The priorities on the list of coming features, some of them might be more complicated (Consume a lot of resources) and are of less importance to me (personal opinion) than other simpler features that would consume less resources (that might be of no importance to other customers but are important to me).

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Do not create several instances of ServicePath CPQ, but rather create organizations in one instance. Organizations can provide sufficient segregation between your key partners.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard B. | Head of Product, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2019

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

Gaining access to the tool via Salesforce means the users have a familiar entry point. Passing the data between salesfroce and service path automatically is a huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

The tool is highly configurable. this is a strenght and a weakness. For new users it can feel overwhealming when starting out. We have also had to implement a common way of working accross the team so as not to complicate the way we use the system further. Maybe a more wizard driven approach for some things would help speed up product setup

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Make sure you understand your business process, have an assigned project manager, have a clear view of how you want data to flow and get training from ServicePath.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to reduce and remove multiple different pricing tools and processes and drive towards a single process for all our pricing. this obvioulsy means we can have a more consistent and accurate process

I like on CPQ:
- that we could implement all of our requirements without any coding
- It's all about customization
- We could implement also complex workflows
- Calculators and Rules
- easy user handling

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

- Importing of Vendor data is a little complicated
- the handling of report generation into Excel
- Scaling of the GUI within the browser is not ideal

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

servicepath is a highly flexible company as well as their products. They can adjust their software by additional features very quickly. I liked most the capability to understand business needs and translate these into solutions.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 32. Light years ahead of the competition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott E. | Chief Executive Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2019

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

The margin analysis ability to empower sales. This function saves our team a lot of time which enables more focus on closing deals.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

Should be more Sales focused and less product manager focused. Better web based quoting and signature capabilities would be suggested.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Best in class technology.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opportunity to quote to approved quote to closed deal with e-signature under one package and the ability to empower technical validation workflows and auto approve deal discounting within pre-set margins.

  ### 33. Much improved quote process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsty W. | Sales Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2019

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

As a company we have a broad range of products and services to offer and utilising servicePath CPQ has allowed us to dramatically improve the professionalism of our quotes, not only in the professional output but in the speed to quote and the consistency. In addition is has allowed us to improve our sales process governance and sign off processes by only allowing approved quotes to be formally generated.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

I would say the support we have received has been great and allowed us to be more agile but there have been a couple of limitations within the platform that are in development that have created problems or delays which has meant on a small number of occasions we have had to bypass process. The team are however very reactive and any issues resolved quickly.
It may have been beneficial to have a greater number of training hours in the initial implementation stages.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform has allowed us to improve speed to quote, provide automated and bespoke rules for governance / compliance. We have structure without being too rigid to cope with change and the servicePath teams support allows us to work on progressing and indeed accelerating our road map.

  ### 35. A flexible CPQ tool backed by a responsive provider

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin R. | Head of Products & Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

ServicePath has replaced our in-house CPQ tool, it provides a consistent, scalable, reliable platform for us to continue expanding our offerings while at the same time providing a simple, easy-to-use interface for our Sales and Pre-Sales teams to configure our products and services, across the multitude of options and customisations available.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

When onboarding any new tool there are inevitable challenges to adoption and changes that have to be made to our standard ways of working. While we've seen fast and deep adoption of ServicePath, there was an initial period of time required for our Product team to fully understand the concepts and practices used within the tool and to adjust our approach to fit.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Have a demo and see how the system can be used for one of your actual products.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability for anyone across our business, no matter their role and technical knowledge, to be able to produce a quote for any of our products and services, regardless of their complexity, through guided configurators. We have also seen additional benefits related to the ease and consistency in which we are able to produce the quote outputs.

  ### 36. ServicePath have greatly improved our business operations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica W. | Product Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

Since selecting ServicePath as our CPQ tool of choice we have been working very tightly with the team and they have supported us throughout, sparing no attention to detail. The agility of the team is fantastic when it comes to working with them on new developments and the integration into Salesforce has transformed the way in which our sales teams generate quotes, saving them lots of time each day.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

When we kicked off the project, the Product team were asked to complete the templates for the product feeds into the system without having seen how they work in the system so it felt like we were a bit blind at the time and that the initial phase took us longer than it could have done.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a platform that delivers accurate and consistent pricing to our sales teams, a controlled sign off process and the fantastic ability for the Product Team to build configured products that just work and make the quotation process far more simple which delivers a much better experience to our customers.

  ### 37. Great Growing CPQ Tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo S. | CPQ (Configure Price Quote) Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

servicePath is the ideal CPQ tool for any business in the Managed Services market. It is absolutely tailored for that market and provides great basic functionality out of the box that would have to otherwise be customised in a more generic-type CPQ tool for day-to-day product management and quotation. In a market potentially now saturated with CPQ offerings (most of them trying to be one-size fits all), focusing on particular markets and their required functionality as a standard is a clever way to stand out and make a difference.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

The flip side to building a tool which is market-specific is how it can potentially limit its use (or make it more onerous) for markets other than those it's focused on. Also, as a relatively young product still, patience is a must as the tool grows in maturity. It's great to be part of the road-map journey, being able to take part and influence it, but on the other hand you are having to work with some basic functionality that still requires some improvement or that is still missing (albeit with a view to be implemented).

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that all CPQs allow to solve is the standardisation of product management, product offering, quotation production (output documents and approval workflows, etc.), whilst doing away with the multiple Excel quotation and design sheets that are out there. And servicePath is no different. It's had a great impact in the alignment process the company is currently going through.

There is not a lot i can so that i dislike about this software if i am being very honest. It is such a great tool to use and so easy to learn. My only issue would be why didnt i see it earlier!!

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Definately recommend!

We have lots of business meetings and events that i am responsible for planning and i have realized how easy this tool makes me job. It quizkly helps me find quotes for venues and meets me target while stayong within my budget.

The intuitive CPQ software, that makes it easy for administrators to manage and configure products with little or know programming background.
The Support team that is very helpful and understanding of priority situations, they offer their time and expertise to help you achieve your organizational objectives.

  ### 40. There isn't a CPQ tool better for Service Providers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

As a product manager what do I love about CPQ? it gives me the power to define the boundaries that our sellers can sell within for products that I develop. There aren't many tools on the market that puts this power so easily in the hands of product managers, particularly focused on the Service provider verticle.

servicePath is also a tool that looks to solve the service provider quote to cash problem with a team who have industry knowledge within that area. This is what I like about servicePath, their product and their team. They are always willing to help and challenge your thinking to help you make a better packaged product.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

There are minor tweaks to UI that I would like to see but it seems like every time we get a release they are either solved or its been implemented in a better way. Overall there isn't much I don't like about their product.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been able to leverage servicePath to better enable my sales teams to more accurately quote for public cloud based managed services. This is a complex area to quote on and I've been able to speed up the quoting process for public cloud based managed service products using servicePath functionality, with the added benefit of providing consistency of quoting across my selling community.

  ### 41. An intuitive CPQ and client solution lifecycle management platform developed by great people...

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunil M. | CPQ Business Analyst, Management Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

The people at Servicepath are very passionate about what they do which is evident in the work they put into continuously improve the CPQ platform.

I have had the pleasure of working with highly influential people such as Ian Cross who have shown us what can be achieved through hard work and perseverance.

Being an early adopter of Servicepath (more than 2 and half years ago) I have witnessed the effort and dedication that has gone into fixing the issues, bugs as well as taking on new complex requirements to suit Ensono's product development and sales teams.

The Sales Navigator is a great feature as provides a holistic view of the client, opportunities and quotes to sales users which is personalised towards them. Being able to access quotes is easier as well as understanding whether a quote requires an approval or not.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the level of service provided by the team. Together we've worked through various challenges and I couldn't ask for much more from a small but growing software development partner - keep up the great work guys!

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving the the standardization of product portfolio to better enable sales for faster and more accurate quoting.

  ### 42. A quote to order tool that has helped improve the Quote to Order process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Imkar S. | Contract - Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

From a Business analysts perspective I worked closely with ServicePath on various projects and also support activities. The interaction with servicePath helped to build good customer/vendor relationships, which was crucial on the delivery of strategic solutions to now only cater for initial internal business needs but also enhance current functionality for strategic future growth. The CPQ tool has been adopted through the business with great successes

It has been very easy to engage with ServicePath on requirements specified by business users but the main trait was to also get recommendations from ServicePath on to how best utilise current or new functionality to help achieve even more business benefits.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

The only improvement that would be beneficial is to have more intuitive reporting that are available to ends users to create and customise as they deemed appropriate per business departments. The ability to report and export data to manipulate how end users see fit would also be beneficial.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServicePath is helping to consolidate various product portfolios into one consolidated tool to be used within the business, while helping to replace old excel based pricing tools and to have a more structured and robust governance model.

The end user experience has been improved using a more intuitive tool by utilising the configured products to enhance the guided selling process and with future development projects this will help provide the portfolio expansion to a much larger user base within the company.

The end user experience has been improved and with future development projects this will help provide the portfolio expansion to a much larger user base within the company.

  ### 43. End-to-End Quoting and Proposals through servicePath improves efficiency and accuracy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

We have a comprehensive portfolio of (what can become quite complex) Managed IT solutions that span across several facilities and regions. servicePath enables us to logically define our product offerings, structure detailed cost models, and ensure that no required details or steps are overlooked or missed. Our global solution sales team uses servicePath daily to build accurate quotes and proposals in a very efficient manner.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

servicePath CPQ has a lot features that are accessible to all users. Some are very powerful and it would make things easier if we were able to prevent some users from accessing all features. Also, while the servicePath team adds new functionality very quickly, it would be nice to have more one-on-one time with their team to determine how to best take advantage of these features. As the company continues to grow and has more resources available to support product development efforts, I anticipate this will improve.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales team can create accurate quotes and orders much quicker than ever before. We can create quotes from any office in any currency. We can also prepare and manage multiple quotes on the same opportunity which makes it easier to present different options to our customers. The approval flows we implemented are very straightforward and give us the ability to validate the technical and financial details before it is delivered to a customer.

  ### 44. ServicePath Understands Complex Technology Sales! Help your Sales Accelerate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan L. | Director of Sales, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

We had very complex solutions. ServicePath eliminated rogue proposal changes and allowed for complex hybrid cloud solutions to be built, quoted and delivered to customers very quickly (within minutes). ServicePath allowed our Engineers and Reps to reduce quoting time and allowed them to focus on solution builds and increasing face time with customers and prospects.

It accelerated our quote turnaround and our deal velocity, as well as, internal finance and technical reviews cycle time. It also enabled reps to understand the interrelationships in our cost structure and where our models could be adjusted to win profitable business.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

The system was time consuming to initially set up. Having said that, we did not employ the install base feature of the product in ServicePath. If we had, perhaps the installation experience would have been easier. Because we did it our way, it was challenging and a large time consuming exercise to dig through all our files, configs, pricing, etc. Overall, I suspect there was an easier way to get set up.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Listen to their recommendations on how to get up and running quickly...worth a few extra bucks.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated above, it greatly enhanced our quoting cycles, discipline and overall sped up our initial quote to cash cycle. It freed up the right resources to focus on business prospecting and making more calls.

  ### 45. servicePath CPQ gave us a standard solution across partners saving us time and money

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott B. | Principal GA, DXC Account CTO, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

As a Global Architect and Account CTO covering a major global partner, I am responsible for building joint solutions we can take to market together. My time is my most valuable resource. servicePath CPQ lets me work with partners to build very complex solutions for their customers, confident of the financials and technical feasibility. There are two servicePath features I really like. First is the ability for to give our key SI partners their own servicePath accounts so that they can price out their own solution configurations for their end customers. Second, is that it allows for iterative solutions - I input customer requirements and the platform allows me to iterate through different configurations and it calculates the whole solution lock-step. My partner can pull a ROM estimate together in minutes. We can see their activity in the system, what configurations and priced solutions have been used, etc.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

It would be nice to have the ability to export/import/publish products and business rules so that they can be shared easily across our multiple servicePath instances. I understand this is on the roadmap but we could use it now. Putting together an estimate is pretty intuitive in servicePath, depending on how we build our products but building a complex product can be complicated. servicePath would benefit from additional help materials.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

If you use spreadsheets to price and configure your solutions - you need to consider servicePath. My strong recommendation is that you get whoever it was that built your spreadsheet involved in the implementation. It can take a lot of time to reverse engineer the formulas and references in those spreadsheets so having the creator as part of the project team can save you a lot of time and headache. Also, don't just automate your old process. When you implement a platform like servicePath try to stay open to the idea that spreadsheets have limitations and things can be done differently. We realized that we could update our product data on a much more frequent basis than before. This allows us to ensure we always have the latest product versions in our solutions. We don't worry about obsolete spreadsheets being in circulation. We can see our partner and customer activity in the system, what configurations and solutions they have priced out, etc. That makes for good business intelligence that we didn't have before.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before servicePath it could take us hours or even days with a partner to price a complex solution configuration for their customer. Now it takes us just a few minutes. That's the biggest benefit of servicePath - it has given me time back in my day - time I can use to have more strategic discussions with our partners.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

The speed is slow can be confusing at first

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending documents and proposals is easy

  ### 47. Easy to use for both administators and end users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny B. | Product Manager UC @ Daisy Corporate Services, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2017

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

User experience. From a product management point of view I was able to easily build complex configured products which then had an impressive (and instant) end user interface. The tool provides so much control and customisation literally at the click of a button. This in turn ensures the end user experience is also perfect for your organisation allowing you to help the person raising the quote as much as is needed.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

There wasn't anything I disliked because if there was anything that didn't quite work in the way I needed it to, it was very easy to engage with servicePath and get their recommendations on how to proceed. This would either involve them showing me functionality I wasn't aware of or developing something quickly to achieve what I needed.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

servicePath has replaced old pricing tools in excel and provided a much more robust solution which is easier to manage. The configured product functionality has enabled a guided selling/quote process to ensure Sales have access to pricing (and details about what needs to be in a solution) without having to engage with Specialists and Pre Sales teams.

  ### 48. Great Company with great people

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin M. | Advisory Systems Engineer Global Alliances AtoS, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2017

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

very agile, friendly, proactive, great ideas how to solve requirements, the platform could solve 80% of our requirements from the beginning and the remaining 20% where developed or customized in a joined engagement

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

workload is maybe too high for the internal employees, but this might be normal in a startup mode. Increasing the amount of employees needs to be in line with revenues, of course.

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

none

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had to solve a product basket with dynamic pricing and financial flexibility. The platform is easy to customize, configure and use. It's highly secure and multi-tenant. It solved additionally the problem of document handling and data protection. A perfect fit for our partner demands.

  ### 49. Excellent software, excellent people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben C. | Co-Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2018

**What do you like best about servicePath CPQ +?**

The ability to quickly take processes and configurations we had in excel and move them into service path. On top of these core processes we were then able to use things like guided selling and approval workflows which we couldn't do with Excel

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

Nothing specifically. Implementation took us a little longer than we wanted but in truth this was an internal problem of discussing and agreeing priorities which should have been done before we started implementation, not during!

**Recommendations to others considering servicePath CPQ +:**

Invest time up front working out internal priorities before migrating

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster quoting for our sales team. More assurance on margin protection. Consolidation of product portfolio.

Upstart who understands the MSP world, coming from telcom and MSP backgrounds, the team understands the unique challenges to selling large ITO deals.

**What do you dislike about servicePath CPQ +?**

They are too small to advance their roadmap at the pace we would like.

**What problems is servicePath CPQ + solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardization of costs models and pricing moderns, reduction in time to quote, sealing up revenue leakage.
