Terrific tool that perfectly meets our professional services scoping needs. Implementation was straightforward, and the SCOPE Better team was exceptional—attentive, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We've searched extensively for a pricing tool like this, and it seamlessly integrates with both our Salesforce and Kantata PSA platforms.

**What do you dislike about SCOPE Better?**

Overall, we haven't encountered any significant downsides yet. The only area that might require some flexibility is adjusting your quoting process and updating output templates, which can be a bit tricky.

**What problems is SCOPE Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SCOPE Better is an invaluable online pricing tool for writing Statements of Work (SOWs) for our Professional Services at Solvit. It streamlines our scoping process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our pricing. The seamless integration with Salesforce and Kantata PSA allows us to manage our projects effortlessly. The tool's intuitive interface and comprehensive features save us time, reduce errors, and enhance our overall service delivery.   ### 2. Finally a tool that helps me productize our service offerings

**What do you like best about SCOPE Better?**

What we liked best about Using SCOPE was that it has allowed us to convert our various spreadsheets into a unified estimate and pricing process which can be delegated to the sales persuit team.  Doing this, has allow us to reduce the time it takes to create an estimate while instituting a standard pricing methodlogy.

With the export features available to us, we then can export the Estimate into Jira and Kimble (Sorry, It'll always be Kimble to me) to being the service delivery.  Upon completion, this process is allowing us to do post mortems more efficently so we can adjust  the estimates by not only adding or subtracking resourcing but adding standard language to be more specific where we have learned that what we thought was 'obvious' was not so by the client.

**What do you dislike about SCOPE Better?**

The thing that we like least is to manage library of deliverables and components.  We have quite a few and they are ever evolving.

**What problems is SCOPE Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SCOPE is helping us solve the problem of centralized pricing and proposal.  This is a bottleneck and by using SCOPE we can decentralize the estimates to a degree to the resources who are most familar with the client's need while Practice Leaders can create productized service offerings that the lay sales person can understand.

**What do you like best about SCOPE Better?**

The personalisation of each user account ( all the check boxes available) that makes it possible to really adjust the tool and its possibility to everybodys needs. The customer support is amazing and I am sure the ease of implementation would be even better if we would be able to set up our account within the interface of Scope, not through an API.

**What do you dislike about SCOPE Better?**

Some functionalities are outdated and there is a lot of scrolling and filters missing which takes time. Also, the integration with our ERP system is not working very well

**What problems is SCOPE Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have secured overview of roles and rates and deliverables, for the first time in our working process. This gives us security but also a better understanding of what we are actually capable of selling. A standardization of our capabilities.

I've used scope for many SOWs--we've preloaded deliverables which makes creating scopes a breeze. Easy to edit and create custom deliverables.

**What do you dislike about SCOPE Better?**

There is no undo button or version history. We've had issues with not being able to export scopes and staff plans.

**What problems is SCOPE Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scope helps our teams quickly and easily create complex scopes for multiple disciplines. We also use Scope to generate staff plans and see how our resources are being allocated.

I wish there was more flexibility to nuance pricing out deliverables; or even the option to build a budget from scratch within the tool based on resources / hours / timeline.

It's a great resource for structure in the scoping. It brings much needed consistency across teams.

Given the nature of our business, every project and client is different and it is often hard to fit each project into the pre-defined boxes. While it is flexible to iterate off existing projects, it is cumbersome to do so.

**What do you like best about SCOPE Better?**

SCOPE has made our estimate creation much more consistent. Because we've preloaded in costs, it has ensured we're charging the same cost across all clients rather than reinventing the wheel each time. It has also been useful in having the history of SOWs year over year. Our SCOPE reps have been exceptional and offered great customer service not only during integration, but after we have been up and running for over a year.

**What do you dislike about SCOPE Better?**

In some instances, we have had issues where we need the cost to go back 2 cents (cost per impression or bulk direct mail). We haven't found a way to solve this yet so we are having to manipulate the SCOPE  after exporting.

**What problems is SCOPE Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SCOPE is helping to solve our probably of being inconsistent and not having the appropriate reviews on new SOWs. We have also been able to produce SOWs and proposals much faster because we have our pricing loaded into the system so it's a basic drag and drop to get one created.

It is easy to find old Scopes I've created and duplicate them.

The outputs never come out correctly, they are always missing information.  Sometimes the numbers change that I've entered.  Currently I can't output a scope without doing the preview first.

The downside of Scope is the integration. This was much harder than we imagined.

Scope allows us to have all the information in one place. Before we were starting from scratch many of the times.

The system creates a methodology for preparing proposals within minutes and consistenyl across organisations with distributed responsibilities.  The design and implementation team are amazing and their level of customer service is better than I have experienced for other systems.  They make recommendations to help navigate best use of the system.

**What do you dislike about SCOPE Better?**

The system allows you to transfer any proposal into a statement of work.  However, your language would need to be identitical for every client for this to be useful.
