## ReviewStudio Reviews
 ### 1. Essential for Marketing Revision Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derrick G. | Marketing Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I like the comment feature in ReviewStudio, where reviewers have the option to circle or pinpoint exactly where they are making the comment. It makes ReviewStudio valuable because in designs, placing a comment exactly where you want the change eliminates any confusion. The initial setup was very easy and self-explanatory, and we also received a tutorial from a ReviewStudio team member. I also love the webpage feature where you can upload a live webpage

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I wish there was a text feature, when creating captions for social media that needs to be reviewed. I wish there was a function that you can create copy directly in there instead of uploading a file.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ReviewStudio to track revisions, keeping all feedback in one place. It eliminates confusion with its comment feature that allows pinpointing exact changes.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We're happy to hear that ReviewStudio is helping you keep track of project versions and collaborate with your team. We'll be taking your feedback on board as we continue to enhance our platform.

 ### 2. Dashboard Makes Tracking Tasks and Projects Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle D. | Retail Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I like the Dashboard, which makes it easy to keep track of all tasks and projects in one place.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I’d like the option to archive projects once they’re completed. Without an archive feature, finished projects remain on the dashboard, which makes the project list long, crowded, and harder to navigate.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio makes it easy for co-workers to review the same project efficiently, helping everyone stay aligned throughout the process.

 ### 3. Effortless Creative Collaboration with Intuitive Versioning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eunice M. | Head of Brand Marketing, Asia, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio is a well-designed, straightforward platform for managing creative feedback and approvals. Its versioning system is intuitive, making it simple to compare different iterations and see what has changed over time. The use of review links and defined roles helps keep internal teams coordinated while maintaining appropriate workspace privacy. Additionally, the activity trail feature helps minimize unnecessary email exchanges.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Notifications tend to be overwhelming unless you take the time to adjust the settings. The mobile experience is more suited for viewing content rather than providing in-depth feedback. While the reporting features work as intended, they lack extensive customization options.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, ReviewStudio streamlines the approval process and enables teams to deliver their work with greater confidence. For workflows that depend on transparent feedback, quick revisions, and reliable tracking, it proves to be a strong choice.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We're happy to hear that ReviewStudio has been beneficial for streamlining the approval process and enabling quick revisions and reliable tracking for your team. We appreciate your feedback on notifications, mobile experience, and reporting features, and we will take these into account for future updates.

 ### 4. Centralized Feedback and Effortless Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

What I find most helpful about ReviewStudio is that it creates one centralized place for feedback and approvals, which eliminates the confusion of long email threads and multiple file versions. Being able to leave visual, in-context comments directly on designs makes feedback much clearer and easier to act on which saves time. I also appreciate the version control and structured approval workflows, which help keep projects moving forward and ensure nothing gets missed. Overall, ReviewStudio improves collaboration and makes the review process more efficient, especially when working with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. Customer service/support is top notch.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

What I find least helpful about ReviewStudio is it relies heavily on all stakeholders actively participating in the platform, so if reviewers don’t log in or respond promptly, the process can still stall.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio helps me solve the ongoing challenge of managing feedback and approvals across multiple stakeholders. Instead of juggling emails, chats, and different file versions, everything is centralized in one place, which makes the review process much clearer and easier to manage. It reduces confusion and helps prevent missed or conflicting feedback. Overall, it helps projects move forward more smoothly and efficiently, especially when timelines are tight and collaboration is critical.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that ReviewStudio has been beneficial in centralizing feedback and approvals for your projects. We understand the importance of active participation from all stakeholders and are committed to working with you to find solutions to ensure a smoother review process. Thank you for choosing ReviewStudio for your collaboration needs.

 ### 5. User-Friendly Platform with Versatile Content Uploads

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara A. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

It's very user-friendly and we can upload a variety of file types and interactive content.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Someone who is being asked to submit a response can leave their comments, but not click that button and we do not know they have reviewed the proof. We have provided training for our staff, but new reviewers are constantly being added and do not realize they need to select that decision button.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to review videos and web content. Reviews Studio allows us to make comments on these formats, although website comments don't always stay put as you scroll through.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We're glad to hear that you find ReviewStudio user-friendly and versatile for content uploads. We appreciate your feedback about the issue with reviewers not clicking the decision button. We have since implemented some changes to help with this user experience and make this process clearer for new reviewers.

 ### 6. Perfect Solution for Effortless Marketing Material Reviews

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markus S. | International Digital Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

It's the perfect match for our daily needs in creating and reviewing marketing materials, like videos, brochures, web pages, 3D models and many more. It is very flexible, easy to use and has all the reviewing functions needed.
It streamlines and makes out working processes much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Nothing I can think of right now. I have never had any bad experience and we are using the tool 2 years now.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complex review & approval processes are easily streamlined and documented providing transparency to the whole organization and speeding up marketing material creation.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ReviewStudio! We're pleased to hear that it has been flexible, easy to use, and has all the reviewing functions needed for your marketing materials.

 ### 7. Easy to Use Platform That Clients Love

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin C. | Director of Creative & Strategy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Easy to use, and my clients enjoy using the platform.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Hard to say at this point what could be improved upon with the platform. I've been using it for a month and like everything so far!

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamline approvals and SAVES TIME!

 ### 8. Reasonably priced, reliable review software.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio provides me with a platform to share reviews with both colleagues and external stakeholders, hosting multiple file types, and multiple files within a project, to enable a sleek, user friendly review process which ultimately makes my project journey easier.
Being able to host 10 different projects on my plan level means I can always be sharing ongoing work streams for review, and I commonly have a new project starting on an almost weekly basis.
Integrating this review process into my project workflow makes it a lot easier to consolidate feedback and track actions, particularly when juggling a heavy workload.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Some less technologically literate colleagues will sometimes disregard a lot of the features available, meaning it is not utilised to its maximum potential, but this is down to the individual and not the platform.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio allows me to share content with large numbers of project stakeholders, to consolidate feedback in one easy location, and track actions that result from it.
Being able to share a single link in an email to all relevant parties, and encourage them to leave their comments at the appropriate timecode within the video means people don't have to spend time writing emails to try and consolidate feedback while swapping back and forth through windows, but also allows me to have everyones feedback in one place, instead of scattered across an email chain or teams messages.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that ReviewStudio has made it easier for you to manage ongoing work streams and consolidate feedback from multiple stakeholders. We appreciate your support!

 ### 9. Useful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Keeps track of versions, can leave comments and set tasks

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Notifications take too long to come through

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me and my team keep track of our projects

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate knowing that ReviewStudio is helping you and your team keep track of projects.

Should you experience any further delays with uploading files, please reach out to our Support team so that we can review and address the issue.

 ### 10. Reliable markup and review tool with great support, though UI could improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio has been an essential tool for our team, particularly when working on drawing reviews with both vendors and internal stakeholders. The platform shines when it comes to ease of sharing content and managing collaborative reviews. It provides a central space for design and construction documentation that helps us stay organized across tight timelines. The pricing is very reasonable for the functionality it offers, and the support team is responsive and proactive—especially when it comes to leading training sessions and hearing out our feedback.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

While the core functionality is strong, the user interface can feel a bit unintuitive at times. Some menu systems require more navigation than necessary for simple tasks, and certain features are heavily geared toward very specific types of reviews, which don’t always align with the flexibility our team needs. We'd love to see improvements in the UI and broader customization options to make it more adaptable for different workflows.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio gives our team a single, real-time workspace where everyone—internal designers, engineers, and external vendors—can review and annotate drawings together. Conversation threading keeps feedback organized, while the markup tools let us capture decisions directly on the document and export a PDF record for future reference. By replacing scattered email threads and one-off screen-shares, it streamlines revisions, shortens turnaround time, and does so at a budget-friendly price point.

 ### 11. Excellent Tool for Marketing and Communications Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio makes it so easy to track client feedback in a way that allows clients to collaborate with each other, and our comms team. The versioning tools are awesome and allow our team to complete QC steps so much faster than before, and the side-by-side comparison options are game-changing. The ability for clients to download files directly from the review has also been incredibly helpful. We have had almost no issues with the service since we implemented it, and when we did have an issue from our own human error, the Review Studio team stepped in and saved the day within minutes. I can't say enough about how great this service is to streamline client reviews.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The only thing I don't like is that ReviewStudio can't handle web-based deliverables to the level we need at the moment, so we have to use a different service to track edits to websites we create. ReviewStudio has been responsive to this feedback and I hope that in the future they'll get there!

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complications in receiving and managing client edits to marketing / comms deliverables - it eliminates the needs for screen shots or lengthy explanations, and allows the team to mark edits complete in a clear way.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We're thrilled to hear that ReviewStudio has been a game-changer for your marketing and communications teams! Our versioning tools and side-by-side comparison options are designed to streamline the review process, and we're pleased that they have been so helpful for your team.

We appreciate your feedback about web-based deliverables and would be happy to schedule some time to discuss this further. Thank you for your support!

 ### 12. Great tool for our studio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex O. | Studio manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The user experience, even our most old school client, is able to pitch in their ideas without any hiccups. They can open it on their computers, tablets, and phones. We utilize across all of our clients, in each part of their project, from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I can't think of one at this time, we've been utilizing the platform for years now and we love it.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to the platform, we can gather feedback on our work quickly, accurately, and in real time — no more getting lost in an endless chain of emails.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that ReviewStudio has been a reliable platform for your studio, allowing you to streamline the feedback process and enhance collaboration with your clients. Thank you for your loyalty and continued use of our platform.

 ### 13. Artwork Approval Platform for the number 1 Pharmaceutical company in the Philippines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verlyn Anne K. | University Lecturer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

It changed the game in artwork approval for our division, from manual emails to a more efficient web based platform, making it easier to use for all the stakeholders. The customer service is also superb because they are always ready to help and answer our queries.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

As of now none, but I am looking forward for more great features to be added to the platform.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It changed the game in artwork approval for our division, from manual emails to a more efficient web based platform, making it easier to use for all the stakeholders. The customer service is also superb because they are always ready to help and answer our queries.

 ### 14. ReviewStudio has simplified the proof approval process

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob E. | Prepress Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Since using ReviewStudio, the approval process at my organization has dramatically improved. We use it for all of our proofs. Project managers and production managers can monitor the statuses of projects and see where they are at in real time. No more depending on emails for approvals and hassling with forwarding emails to keep everyone up to date. This is all accomplished in the ReviewStudio dashboard.

Clients love being able to add comments and annotations to reviews that allow them to share any necessary changes that may be needed. They are able to compare two versions of a proof side by side to ensure all changes have been made. A review can be forwarded to someone else within their organization if their input is needed.

The workflow feature in ReviewStudio is nice because it allows us to tailor the review process to our organization's needs. We have added stages within the workflow which ensures that project managers and other team members can approve the review internally before it goes to the client. Production managers can give the final approval before a project goes into production.

The support staff at ReviewStudio has been great. They are quick to respond to any issues or concerns we may have. They have even implemented changes to the software base on our recommendations.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

What took a little getting used to was the email notifications that are received for the various reviews. But those in my organization came to realize that these notifications are very helpful in staying on top of where a review is at, especially with mobile devices when the dashboard may not be accessible.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business creates several pdf proofs every day. We needed a solution that would allow those within the organization to track the status of approvals in real time and allow clients the ability to add comments and changes. ReviewStudio has helped with this greatly, and projects are moving along faster than ever before.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ReviewStudio. We're delighted to hear that the dashboard, client collaboration features, and workflow customization have streamlined your approval process. We understand the initial adjustment to email notifications and are glad to hear that they have proven to be helpful in staying updated on reviews, especially when the dashboard is not accessible.

 ### 15. My experience with Reviewstudio has been very good.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

very functional annotation tool. Easy to understand version upload. Value for money is great.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Can't make comment text larger, so sometimes I have to come very close to the screen to read clearly, especially if there's a lot of comments. Also would be very helpful if we can attach images into a comment. This way if I am asking someone to replace a pic, I can attach it right there. Markup.io had these features.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us gather client feedback for out design projects in one place. This helps us stay organized with edits and revisions, streamlines approvals, and the versions feature allows to review all our steps and ensure were addressing all client requests properly and timely.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ReviewStudio. We're glad to hear that you find ReviewStudio is helping you and your team stay organized, allowing for a timely and streamlined review process for your client.

We also understand your concerns about the comment text size and have taken note of the suggestion for potential enhancements to our platform.

I'm happy to advise that the functionality to attach a file to a comment is available. Once a comment has been posted, select the paperclip icon and upload the file you wish to include with the comment. This file can then be downloaded directly from the comment by the person that is to make the required changes. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact Support.

 ### 16. Perfect fit for our company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan B. | Design Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Our company creates over 60 custom mockups for client review every week, we have tried multiple different review software apps and review studio is by far the most comprehensive option we have used so far. It does exactly what we need and is easy to customize based on different workflow

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

It's a little pricey. I wish that there was not a 5 user minimum for the pro account. It would be nice if when you uploaded a file if it automatically starts uploading it instead of having to click the upload button, its just an extra step for a very common task.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

clients can easily markup proofs and allows our designers to hear directly form the client

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ReviewStudio! It's great to hear that our solution is enhancing communication between the client and the designers.

We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to take it into account for future updates.

 ### 17. Excellent alternative to ProofHQ

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I was pleasantly surprised to find not only an equal but superior alternative to ProofHQ, after 13 years of membership and notice of it being discontinued. The best part is that it is universally compatible with all desktop and mobile devices, unlike ProofHQ.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

My only complaint is that when you go to view a proof at 100% / actual size, it is NOT actual size and it actually requires being set to about 116% to truly see actual size, which you cannot enter manually. You have to use the pinch-zooming feature of a trackpad to get it to 116%.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to use it on all devices and all web browsers has been fantastic.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We're thrilled to hear that ReviewStudio has been a superior alternative and that our universal compatibility across devices and web browsers has been a benefit for you.

We appreciate your feedback about the actual size view and have already begun work on it to improve its functionality as a result.

 ### 18. Great tool for comparing artwork before printing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom O. | Senior Tech Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio makes it very easy to compare versions, and the team love the ability to draw on the artwork and add comments directly.

Relatively low cost for the functionality it provides. Allows external/guest reviewers which is useful for collaborating with our suppliers/printers.

Easy to talk to customer service whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Workflow notifications sometimes don't get delivered, but our product team lives in this system and the internal notification feed/page is up to date.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Artwork proofreading, reduction/elimination of errors and reprints

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ReviewStudio. We're pleased that you and the team find the functionality valuable, such as the compare mode and mark up tools, and the cost reasonable.

The in-app notifications are a great back up to have available, however, we will be happy to work with you to address the workflow notifications. When this happens next, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@reviewstudio.com.

Thank you for your support!

 ### 19. 60 / 5.000 AGILITY AND CONTROL IN TRAFFIC AND DOCUMENT REVIEW

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafa G. | Director de Edición Gráfica y Digital, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

It's easy and intuitive for my team and clients to use.
It allows me to monitor the approval status of projects at all times.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

It doesn't allow for custom labels per client.
Some presets should be general for the entire account. I'd like more customization options, as each client has different needs.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gather all my work in progress within a single URL.
Maintain comprehensive and personalized monitoring of the work's status.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to see that our platform has been easy and intuitive to use for your team and clients.

Custom labels can be created as needed and applied to Reviews, files or even specific comments. Once a custom label is applied, it can quickly be searched and filtered for any Review, file or comment to which the label has been applied. If you need support in exploring this feature, please contact us and we will be happy to offer our assistance.

We'll take your suggestion for more customization options on board and will consider it for future improvements.

 ### 20. Life changing time enhancement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio does wonders for my line of work. It quickly allows me to upload and run a checklist with the clients about whatever image/render/animation we design, making this into a dynamic process and greatly speeding up time spent for all parties involved with ease. We can set up tasks, communicate with multiple parties and provide feedback on any number of revisions each piece requires. It'll greatly enhance the management process.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I don't have any negatives to report at this time.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It greatly helps to manage multiple projects and borderline eliminates a waiting period between delivery and feedback, prompting everything to happen at the very same time

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We're delighted to hear that ReviewStudio has made such a positive difference to you and your team. It's fantastic to know that our platform has helped to speed up your processes and improve communication between multiple stakeholders.

If you have any questions or additional feedback to share, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.

I like how clean the interface is. It's very professional looking for our clients!

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

So far I haven't found any issues. I haven't worked with the software long though.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's simplifying the proofing process across our company and departments. It's a lot more clear which channels it needs to get through before moving onto the next step, whereas emails can get a little murky.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> It's great to hear that ReviewStudio is simplifying the proofing process for your company and teams. Clear communication and streamlined workflows are key benefits of our platform, and we're happy to hear that it's making a positive impact for you.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I like that comments are marked in place within the documents and compiled as a list for easy tracking. The dashboard is great for seeing where proofs are in process.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

When approvals are made by a client early in a job before all items have been added the system removes them from the list of people who receive updates. Adding them back after can be a small, but frustrating, added step.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility of process from clients, project managers and other team members.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We appreciate your input! It's great to hear that ReviewStudio is helping with visibility and tracking of the proofing process.

When using our Workflows, we would suggest only starting the workflow once all files have been uploaded into the Review. This will keep all relevant stakeholders included throughout the workflow. We would be happy to schedule a support call with you to discuss further.

Ability to upload several proofs within the same job.

Clear layout.

Easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

No automatic email notification when proofs are uploaded and reviewers added. This has to be done manually and is not a natural part of the workflow.

Would like the option to limit the number of people involved in each proof.

Have to click on each page to proceed; scrolling through pages is not possible.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Approval of Technical Documentation

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to hear that ReviewStudio is benefitting your technical documentation approval process. We understand the points noted as dislikes and are happy to advise that our solution does in fact address each one -

> You always have control over who has access to a Review and can limit access as required. The Share menu will display who currently has access to a Review, allowing you to remove Users if required, and includes additional settings that can be enabled to restrict access further.

> For multipage documents, there is an option to review documents in a continuous scroll, either in a single page or 2-page side-by-side view option. With this enabled, it will allow you to effortlessly scroll between the pages.

 ### 27. Great Tool for Agencies with Multiple Stakeholders!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay O. | Senior Specialist, Solutions & Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I love that we're able to share assets for review to multiple stakeholders, and can specify whether the review should be open (every reviewer can see each others comments) or private (reviewers can only see thier own comments). This is so functional for our team who work with cobranded assets regularly, and only want to field feedback on an individual basis. This saves us so much time in individually sending out emails and attaching the same file to upwards of 20 people.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

We've found in the past that it can be difficult to get support when needed, but this hasn't been the case in recent months.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving us time and avoiding rework - ReviewStudio streamlines the process of obtaining feedback from multiple users, compared to using email.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> It's great to hear that ReviewStudio has been beneficial for your team in streamlining the feedback process. We value your feedback and will continue to ensure a positive support experience.

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Is totally fine that the page is providing a default environment for collaboration, allowing all elements expected, comments approval, versioning. Notify and tagging on comments is very usefull also.
For the moment and the way I use the platform any function provided is usefull for me.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I think compare function can be improved by allowing overlapping while underline in a color of choice the differences and not only side by side comparison.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me is the main platform for collaboration and collect feedback from customers.

 ### 31. ReviewStudio really streamlined our approval process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I use ReviewStudio to get 10+ members of our team on the same page as we create flyers that are widely utilized across our organization. We used to utilize PDFs in emails, but this has really streamlined our process and allowed multiple people to be in the software at the same time. It has drastically reduced the time it takes us to do this process.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I don't have many downsides. The team is constantly working to make updates, which is something I really appreciate. They take feedback well and actually implement it.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem ReviewStudio is solving for us is time savings. We've gotten our process down by multiple hours per person, which is time that can be utilized in other areas of our business.

 ### 33. Simple yet powerful tool for proofing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | ITW FEG - Creative Services, Manufacturing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

When using standard email, proofs can be easily missed. ReviewStudio allowed my department to have proofing workflows in one place, which is visible to all stakeholders. In addition, the search feature is fantastic. This solution is a game changer for keeping projects on track.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Being a simple and easy to implement solutions the tools is meeting my expectations for a simple cloud-based proofing solution.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The department I work with was tasked with creating social graphics for various groups, which equated to an abundance of small one-off, time-sensitive projects. These projects required proofing before publishing the final graphic. Using emails as a proofing workflow was cumbersome and lacked project status visibility for all stakeholders involved.

 ### 34. It’s a must- have proofing tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio has immensely improved the entire review and approval process for my team, saving everyone involved countless hours. Moving from collecting feedback from numerous sources to it all being done in the one platform has been a game changer.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There's not much that I can fault ReviewStudio for. It's a great tool.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have adopted certain processes over the years that had become out of control, with the biggest pain point being collecting feedback from multiple sources. This is the benefit that ReviewStudio is providing for us.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Thank you for your kind words! We're glad to hear that ReviewStudio has been a game changer for your team's feedback collection and approval process.

 ### 35. Fantastic platform making it easy for a range of people to review design assets across the business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larissa O. | Growth Manager - Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Absolutely love it, it's so easy to use, it allows us to track comments and feedback and gives us a centralised area for all of our artwork and feedback. We use this daily and it's made our lives so much easier.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Nothing at all, it's been brilliant to use

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved us marking up changes on PDFs and only having 1 person allowed in the document at once.

 ### 36. ReviewStudio, a new way to streamline the workflow process.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulo T. | Arquiteto, Sócio Diretor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The practical and objective way in which project adjustments are discussed.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There is no version in Brazilian Portuguese, it would make our work easier.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The exchange of information, projects, and references occurs linearly across the entire team. This makes the work process more transparent and agile.

 ### 37. Great tool for creative team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena F. | Account Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The best feature is that the team members can annotate directly on assets, providing precise and actionable comments.
Another useful feature is side-by-side comparisons, which allow you to track progress and ensure the latest version is always accessible.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Occasionally, handling high-resolution or complex files can result in slower load times.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Review Studio centralises feedback by allowing all comments, annotations, and revisions to occur directly on the asset. This eliminates scattered emails or messaging threads.

 ### 38. Overall an easy tool to aid in project collaboration!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah J. | Project/Traffic Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio allows our team to hold each other accountable for rounds of revisions, transparency on communication, and and easy way to get our clients involved with their project. We use the platform on a daily basis for internal and exteral reviews as well as using it as a way to deliver final files to clients. Overall our external users find the tools super useful when they take the time to actually utilize them.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Overall I find myself wishing for more tools rather than changes to the existing ones. I would love to be able to have an approval choice of "default to [user]" or something similar to indicate someone else's comments are the last word. Or an "Obstain" option for those who don't have an opinion.
I would also like to forward comments that were not addressed on previous drafts.
And lastly an expansion of the workflow tools would be great. We have yet to incorporate workflows due to some of the nitty gritty details that would make it work for our office.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Version control and consolidation of edits. Using ReviewStudio allows for us to get all of the stakeholders looking at the same document. It also gives us visibility on whether a review has been opened or looked at so we aren't left wondering what the status is.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> We're pleased to hear that ReviewStudio has been an integral tool to your organization, both in it's internal and external use!

We appreciate your suggestions for additional approval options, forwarding comments from prior versions, and an expansion of the workflow tools. If you would like to expand on these, please send through further insight into what you'd like to see for each to support@reviewstudio.com. We'll take them into account for a future release.

 ### 39. Review Studio, the team player.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominik G. | Director of Product Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Total control over the review process, comparison of changes over the design process, documentation features. Overview over running projects, Archiving function. Assign content to specific users, which should only see projects they are involved in. review of critical content without the risk of changing word or PDF files. Video review, feedback to timepoints can be given. compare mode, side by side comparison of versions during a project. Task assignment via @name, each reviewer sees questions or feedback to him already in emails. Compared to other review solutions fair pricing.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There could be a bit more workflow support like automatic reminders if reviewer miss deadlines. Missing option to copy open items to a successor version to keep track about open unresolved issues during the review process. Option to upload office documents without creation of a PDF is missing.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Try it. Comprehensive suit to run your projects in your company or as. an agency with partners.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

whole marketing review process is running via Review Studio

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for having us on the team! It's an honor.
The option to copy unresolved items to successive versions is tricky one, if only because moving to a new version generally signals approvals were given. We would be interested in discussing this workflow with you though if you would like to reach out to us via support.

We are adding support for Office docs and several other formats in the very near future.

At the moment, we send out an automated reminder 24h before a deadline (you can set this up in the Review setup options). Please let us know if there are other workflow automations you are looking for, we'd be happy to work them into our roadmap.

 ### 40. Best tool for image and animation validation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin D. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Reivw studio is really simple to use. all the features we need are in the great tool. 100% off our clients approuve it. it's really the best tool i have used to exchange with my clients. we use it everyday and on every project (CGI or animations)

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

sometimes, the project is a bit slow to load.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

review groups all the feedbacks and retakes of the clients. no more email lost.

 ### 41. Sales to implementation was a very smooth process, excellent support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed D. | IT/Production Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio makes it easy to create a proof and share it with reviewers. The interface is straightforward and well thought out. All the tools are easy to use and easy to navigate. Easy experience for our reviewers all around. Sales and development staff can easily reach you by email for questions or problems. After our purchase, we had a virtual meeting to review all the software features and explain features we would like added in the future. Development was very accommodating in listening to our concerns and suggestions for future enhancements.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The proofing viewer was a little different than our previous solution, and there were several features we did not understand. Still, once we began using the platform more and more, it became second nature when creating proofs and reviewing. They have been very accommodating in explaining all features to ensure our switch was a success.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Please email with any questions during implementation; they are very fast to respond and help. We have trialed several other software proofing packages, and ReviewStudio is the best we have come across and has the most attractive price for small businesses.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More reviews seem to be getting through to our reviewers with less spam and a faster review turnaround from our existing software. It is also significant that proofing can be completed on mobile without downloading an additional app. This is great for our advertisers since most do not want to download other software to review proof of their ad.
We look forward to many improvements in the future as software updates are released. So far, we have saved time with the ease of uploading reviews and send to our clients. In the end, as new enhancements are added, I only see more time savings to come for our design and review teams.

 ### 42. The best for easy and fast team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The best thing about ReviewStudio is the ease of use and implementation team-wide. We were looking for a solution to proof graphic images when we came across a blog post about the "10 Best" whatever it said "collab tools/software/proofing," etc, and having used other tools in the past as far back as the mid-2000s most seemed like worse versions than what I remembered, until Review Studio. I signed up for our company and was very happy to see the tool itself was top-notch, but when I reached out to customer support to answer some of the dozens of Q's that were coming to mind, I was pleasantly surprised how responsive and caring they were. That sealed the deal for me right there. Great tools are nice, but when it's crunch time and you need help and can't get it, it doesn't matter. Conversely, when you need it and know you can count on them, it's a game changer. Using it nearly every day for multiple aspects of our publishing projects, it's nice to know the reliability is there, and it's a no-brainer to keep using it. The other only thing worse than bad support is justifying keeping something around that's a "love/hate" relationship. With Review Studio, you can have the good with the great.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The different plan limitations. I'm sure, like anyone, it would be nice to have more features on the lower tier plans and lower pricing on the upper. It's still very much worth it as it's a premium product, but if that ever changed, I wouldn't be upset.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design Proofing, as well as documet proofing. With some video. Audio was a consideration but the slider its weird, for video I can get wanting a and b points but audio, I just want to jump to 1:17:23 and not need 10-15 secs to GET TO the point that takes 1 sec to mark up

 ### 43. Been Using Review Studio for Over a Year Now…

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I'm able to capture comments and feedback from clients in one place. I love that I can load PDFs and URLs from blog posts and website updates for review to gather feedback. I also like that I can check off items as I get them done and tag clients with questions, and set review deadlines and reminders automatically.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The one draw back is that I can't load emails from MailChimp, Constant Contact or other email marketing testt drafts into here easliy. I use a work around of loading PDFs into it. I'd love to see the product expand and offer something where you can send a test email to be reviewed.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to streamline and shorten the time I'm communicating with clients and gathering feedback and revisions on design work. I used to have to use email and sometimes things would get missed or lost because I'd have to sort through my inbox.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> We use Activecampaign for our email campaigns - but it shouldn't be different for other email builders. To review them, we send ourselves a test, click the "view in browser" and import via URL.
Makes it easy to test links and different resolutions as well.

Try it out! Let us know if it worked for you.

 ### 44. Great tool for professional outcome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** diana t. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

We are a design bureau with 20-30 designers. We implemented Review Studio, this is our third year using it as a handy tool, and it has enhanced the value proposal we offer to our clients. It even has become an advantage over our competitors and a truly differentiator. Using Review Studio has increased our client's confidence in the company and has helped make our workflow more dynamic. Review Studio is so intuitive and user-friendly that it has made it easy for our clients to learn and use, making our reputation better as a company. We use RS daily, and it is very easy for the designers in the company to implement it as a Reviewing tool. Also, we have fewer mistakes in the art proofing and making. I wrote Customer Service when I was not sure how to upgrade my subscription and my questions where all cleared out.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Some of our team members speak English, but not all of them; We would love to have a Spanish version of the plattform aswell as the courses for the Designers. We would love a session to sum up the whole team using Review Studio. I have not yet contacted Customer Support to ask if it can be done in Spanish.
Sometimes, the client notifications don't arrive whenever there is an update or an art upload. I would love to have a more reliable notification email for the clients and the people involved in each Review.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is essential for us that all the file versions remain uploaded so any consultation can be made and that every part involved in the designing process can reach the art quickly and is not necessary to search thousands of emails. The art uploaded remains in the plattform so the whole team can add comments or adjustments at the same time and if any doubts of the adjustments, they can be consulted over and over by the team.

**Official Response from Daniela Zappacosta:**

> Glad to see that your use of ReviewStudio gives you an advantage and builds on your clients trust and confidence!

A Spanish version of ReviewStudio is not yet available. We'd be happy to work with you to set this up - Feel free to reach out to us on this!

With notifications, there are a few things to do here - 1. Check that your profile notification settings are set, 2. Ensure that the person uploading new versions sends through a notification to the users from the review sharing menu. We'd be happy to schedule some time to work through this with you.

 ### 45. Review and Approval Platform Perfect for Creative Agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fiona S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio is very intuitive and easy to onboard and adopt into a workflow. The interface makes organization very simple. Our favorite features are the collaboration functions that support multiple users with different roles and tthe in-platform notification feature, saving time on communication. Customer support is very responsive, helpful, and open to feedback.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There a number of features that we had requested that could be useful and further make the process more efficient but other than that the only thing we dislike is the ongoing challenges we have with a specific version of MacOs. Sporadic issues that are being looked at by the team at ReviewStudio.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio serves as a reliable proofing platform during the review and aproval stages of our projects. Quality is critical to our business therefore ReviewStudio helps ensure our content meets the highest standards prior to final delivery.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I've had some issues with minor bugs, but I can see that they're working on fixing them in the tool. Other than that, I don't have anything else to highlight.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

It is solid and always works. Our clients like it to submit feedback in an orderly way and seeing what everybody is saying. It parallel works as an inhouse tool to communicate without our teams and has questions and answers in one location.

We use reviewStudio daily with all our clients. We just had a client we are doing the first animation with - and they were so relieved that it also works for moving pictures ;)

Their team is very responsive to questions, feature requests and interacts quickly and decisive.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

That is a difficult question - and more my problem then ReviewStudio's - as the platform develops, I sometimes struggle with keeping up with new features or changed procedures.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central location for various reviewers to see progress, leave feedback and see other's feedback. It simpifies communication. It eliminates verbal description of changes and back and forth emails, calls with word-salads. One of our favourite feature is to upload versions and having a history of the project with all iterations and comments. Very nice to counter "I didn't say that" comments from clients.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for the feedback.

You can always head over to our helpcenter (relaunched about 3 months ago) which might be super helpful for everything on our latest features.

 ### 48. Invaluable resource for freelance creatives.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio's most vital asset is the ability to upload multiple images and videos to review with a team of stakeholders of any size and location, either together in real-time or asynchronously. But not only that, they continually update their tool to meet the needs of users to make the tool easier to use and packed with great features.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I love getting notified (via email) when reviewers leave comments on a review. Still, I'd love for it to be automated for the reviewers that have logged in to a review to choose to be updated via email whenever I complete tasks or upload revised assets.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, I had to email files to clients for review, which often required large attachments or download service links, resulting in many duplicate files across computers. Each client would then make comments by their method, which resulted in extra work for everyone. With ReviewStudio, the files and associated comments live in one place that anyone can visit when it is most convenient for their schedule. Several other services have popped up that do similar things, but ReviewStudio continues to innovate and provide new features for users at a very competitive price.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> We are so happy to be able be a part of streamlining your creative workflows. It's why we do this...

Please check out the link below to make sure you have the correct settings enabled for your notifications. Reviewers do get updated when a task is completed depending on their profile settings. Uploading a revised asset doesn't send out an automated notifications. This is intentional as we expect you will want to use explicit notifications to kickstart a Review cycle.

Stay tuned for a major update we are launching that will make make this even more intuitive.

Thanks for your continued support John!

 ### 49. Huge Productivity, Little Expense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Board Of Advisors, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Extremely powerful and intuitive. Our routing moves easily across multiple users and multiple departments. The UX of ReviewStudio is simple to use - even the Accountants get it.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I really don't have a suggestion for improvement. We use it all the time and all rave about how productive it has made our review process. Likewise, when we have needed support help, they've always been extremely accommodating.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Test it and see. It is simple to implement, and incredibly cheap. We did just that and pivoted to ReviewStudio by the end of the day. There really is no downside to trying in and seeing how it performs for you.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simply makes proofing simple. Multiple users can engage simultaneously, and we're left with both a platform for any back and forth, as well as a record of how we got there. Simple, but mighty.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks Mike!
This review nails what we (aim to) provide - intuitive, centralized review and approval.

 ### 50. Game changer for our small team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheralyn S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Review Studio allows our small marketing team to get feedback from several internal stakeholders in a quick and concise manner. This ability to collaborate more effectively has increased our teams productivity substantially. Review Studio has made our process with our design agency much easier, too!

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Notifications are hit-or-miss but that could be more an issue with our internal email than anything else.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have to send our projects to each internal team individually for feedback. Sometimes that feedback would be directly opposite feedback we received from the next team to review. Review Studio allows our teams to see changes, who is requesting them and why. This has allowed for seperate teams to have a discussion and come to a concensus on how the change can accommodate both needs before we send it out for revisions.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Great to have you on board.

We have a big update in the works that will track in-app activity/notifications much better for some added redundancy and flexibility.
