  ### 4. A Powerful Proofing Tool For Any Agency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

When trying to find an alternative to Adobe's Share for Review tool, we came across ReviewStudio, and it has made proofing designs for projects so smooth and simple for both us AND our clients! Being able to get notes and comments without having to transcribe emails or terrible handwriting means our designers can get revisions taken care of in a fraction of the time.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The only two things I would like to see improved upon (and they're so minor that I don't think they're worth mentioning) is: 1. native integration with project management platforms like Basecamp (but, Zapier is a great workaround), and 2. adding clients to projects could be more streamlined (i.e. not just adding email addresses to a field, but being able to filter clients by their respective workspaces).

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio makes it super simple for us to share proofs for all kinds of visual assets — including videos — to our clients, keep notes and revisions better organized, and just looking better as an agency with having a powerful and user-friendly interface. There's no more guessing for us!

  ### 5. We use it everyday

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2022

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Review Studio is easy to use and uploads files quickly. My clients like how they can comment and see we have picked up the comments. We can upload verious types of files.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The play controls are small; sometimes, I must direct the client to where to play the video. I would like to have the links be preparatory, cadrender.com/link.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

This is a great tool to send still images and videos to clients for review.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Review studio helps the sharing of files. When the video is final and approved, the client can download it from the website without me having to upload to a different file sharing tool.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.

You are going to love our update. We are making a number of new changes to make everything more intuitive. Especially for your clients.

  ### 6. Review Studio is a great solution to review images we create with our clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2023

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Ability to draw or tag comments directly on an image, or set of images in a PDF. Also selecting a comment in the list of comments will show the corresponding image.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

We now create one review with multiple pdf's. |t would be great of a single review could contain multiple sets of images.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online Collaboration with clients, architects and communication experts regarding the review proces.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Just to clarify - you can add an unlimited number of PDFs in a single Review.
Reviews can contain any number of files and file types.

  ### 7. It is simple and straight foward to use, comments are kept within the same platform.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2022

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I like that it adds on as a link for the mocks and clients are able to download the videos if necessary.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There is no open link - you need to key in the guest's email and we would like to have some reporting metrics included / number of revisions registered etc.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The latest update helped with tracking the individual mock - to see if there are comments within and time stamps for the videos.

  ### 8. ReviewStudio is Integral to the Workflow of my Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason K. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I was an early adopter of ReviewStudio and I've used it for many years. Most of my clients are remote and the ability to collaborate with them in real-time, looking at the same images and video, while reviewing it all interactively, is extremely valuable to me.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Use of my Wacom tablet is less effective than a mouse for some reason - I keep a mouse handy. Because of the nature of the process, use of a cell phone for reviewing is less than ideal. However, I hear that this may be improving greatly in the new year. I look forward to that!

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Give it a go! After using ReviewStudio with me on our projects, several of my clients have said they would like to use it in their companies for use with their own projects.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication errors with clients are much less frequent with ReviewStudio. Being able to look at the same things in real time, talking (on the phone), pointing, highlighting and making notes as we go, virtually eliminates misunderstandings.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> We appreciate your business! From the looks of it you were one of our first customers.
It means a lot that you've been with us all these years.

The new mobile experience is going to be top-notch.

  ### 9. Perfect for Marketing & Creative Teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tory F. | Graphic Designer & Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I tried ReviewStudio for a wine ebook I was working on and found it super helpful. Whether you're getting feedback from clients or your co-workers, it makes collaboration easy. I could go on but here's a list of why I enjoy it:

• Intuitive and Easy to Use Interface
• Simple Tutorials
• Great Customer Support
• Works with a Variety of Formats (video, pdfs, jpegs, etc)

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I really can't think of a lot of downsides. ReviewStudio is a solid tool for anyone who needs an online proofing tool :)

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Do the tutorials and you'll be good to go :)

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes sharing documents easy between everyone involved and you can get feedback a lot quicker than by emails (or the old pen & paper ways).

  ### 10. ReviewStudio making collaboration easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ji H. | Art Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The interface is simple, it's very easy to see the approval status of different projects.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The only thing I'd like to be improved is how the archiving works. It would be great if there's a button in your project to archive once it's done. And if search function can be added for the archived projects so it's easy to find any archived projects based on client/other keyword...

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Passing on feedback, and it's good for the designers to be able to reply to comments and how clearly I can mark changes, whether it's a static design or a video and also how all feedback is kept in one place, with a good version control. It definitely saves the amount of reworking hence positively impacting our productivity.

  ### 11. ReviewStudio has been a huge boon to our company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

From day one, ReviewStudio has been a huge boon to our company, and especially our marketing department. We're a tool and machinery company with a huge catalog and website with over 14,000 products; we're constantly creating and updating content. Every piece of content we create requires several levels of proofing and approval across multiple departments. ReviewStudio makes this an infinitely more effective and efficient process than what we had been using before. (It also allowed us to quickly transition to a remote working environment during the COVID pandemic—which would not have been successful without ReviewStudio.) We can view and compare versions, edit and comment in real-time with other team members—and my personal favorite—tag and task anyone in the company for specific questions and actions right within the ReviewStudio platform. As a company, we have been going through a period of rapid expansion and the ability to improve and scale our proofing and review process has been invaluable—not to mention we are saving a ton of paper!

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Our processes are very unique, and some aspects of the platform, which seem to be designed as "one size fits all" are not customizable, so we have had to make a few compromises and workarounds in order to work with system. That said, these issues are minor and so for us, it has been well worth it to adapt in these areas. Additionally, some of the issues, when brought to the attention of our CSR, have been addressed and fixed in subsequent software updates.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

If you are not already on a virtual proofing platform, take some time to socialize the idea within your company.
Be willing to experiment at first. Our process evolved over the first year, and it was good that we did not lock down a process right away.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved the problems of:
—Inefficient proofreading and approval process for our written content.
—Not knowing whose desk it's on.
—Multiple electronic or paper versions floating around, which causes confusion.
—Projects that move slowly through one person at a time.
—Complications of transitioning to remote work

We have gotten these benefits:
—Improved content due to more efficient and effective proofing/approval process.
—Better tracking of project status.
—More effective use of everyone's time.
—Eliminating waste by reducing paper and ink consumption.
—Improved morale among artists and creatives with improved workflow and better communication.
—More work is being done better and faster.
—Ability to do all of this remotely, which has helped us to continue to thrive during the COVID pandemic.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for this great review.
We appreciate you taking the time to go into such detail on the value ReviewStudio has brought to you and your team.

  ### 12. RviewStudio is Great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venessa R. | Administrative Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio is great for team collaborations. It is used by architects, marketers, consultants, and sales, and everyone finds it very easy to use. The mark up tools are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The zoom in/out functions could be better. It would be great if I could use it on my mobile, but it is not as easy as a desktop. Also, if there could be more colours to choose from for markups that would be good.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

ReviewStudio is an excellent platform for teamwork. It allows you to leave comments and markups and eliminates the guesswork when reviewing feedback.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily review renderings and animations; using Reviewstudio has streamlined our review process and minimized confusion that typically happens through email.

  ### 13. ReviewStudio and their highly supportive team are a great match for us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua S. | Senior Director of Compliance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio is straightforward and avoids the potential for confusion that other review platforms present with their sometimes overbuilt feature sets. Their support team is also highly responsive.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The platform is still a work in progress in terms of their team's constant efforts to add features and functionality. However, that is also sometimes a strong point since they are very receptive to suggestions for improvement.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to consolidate our review process and also ensure the archiving of finally approved materials, both being essential components of our overall compliance efforts.

  ### 14. ReviewStudio has proved to be a great tool for my business when collecting client feedback!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike E. | Partner + Director of Client Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The ReviewStudio team is quick to respond to any inquiries I've had as I use the software. The software itself is a great tool that we have used to receive client feedback! I also love that ReviewStudio is a Canadian company based in Montreal.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Hmmm...nothing that I can think of to date. Again, any issues I have had have been resolved very quickly by the ReviewStudio team. If I had to pick one thing where I think RewviewStudio can improve is simply the overall look and feel of their program. Design-wise, it does seem. tobe a little bit more "meat and potatoes" but honestly, that is a stretch.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Take advantage of their free trial before you decide to jump into a plan with ReviewStudio. Once you have decided that ReviewStudio is a tool you would benefit from having, consider signing up for a year subscription and save some cash.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting feedback from clients had been a struggle before we started using ReviewStudio. Now, our clients can collect and add their feedback all in one place which keeps things tidy and organized. Clients also have told us that they love how they can add comments directly onto a proof, without having to, say, describe what part of the proof they are critiquing, as they used to have to do when we were not working with a proofing software.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for the great review.
Your recommendation is spot-on.

Also, we are working on some big updates to our design - I think you'll enjoy what's coming. Stay tuned!

  ### 15. A great tool to stop wasting time on endless feedback sessions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maciej B. | Guest Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I had tested multiple platforms before I decided to buy ReviewStudio. Most of them have pretty similar features so there are the small things that made me decide to finally subscribe to it.

The best upside about using ReviewStudio:
1) Onboarding is superfast because the platform is very intuitive for clients and our employees.

You don't need to train anyone. You just send the link and they have a small tutorial that shows them where should they click to Comment.

2) Client can download the files directly from the ReviewStudio, so if we get to the final version, they can download the file without asking for the Dropbox or WeTransfer link.

It makes the process much smoother.

3) Price is great compared to similar platforms.

Most platforms are more expensive as they have more features. But ReviewStudio has everything we need, without extra features we don't care about.

4) The whole team is super responsive. When I spotted a small bug and let them know about it, the next day, the bug was fixed.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

You can't label comments yet. So if you have comments falling into one category, i.e., regarding the voice-over, you can't label them, so it's not as transparent as it could be.

Also, it would be more intuitive if you could add the attachment before you post a comment.

But these are minor things that don't destroy the whole experience.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We save our employees' time and our company's money.

Thanks to ReviewStudio, we have fewer feedback sessions with our clients. We know exactly what they want without asking them 10 times for clarification.

Also, it increases the User Experience for our clients. They can add the feedback in an easy way. Instead of saying, "Let's move the circle from the top right to the bottom right," they can simply draw an arrow and add the Comment, "Let's move it here."

If they want us to change the logo, they can simply upload it in the comment section. They don't need to send it via e-mail.

Also, it makes feedback much easier for cybersecurity-heavy clients such as banks. They couldn't open our Dropbox links, but they can open the ReviewStudio links.

  ### 16. An enterprise worthy tool at a price point suitable for smaller studios and agencies!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I have worked as a project manager serving creative teams and marketers for over five years. In that time, I have been an integral part of implementing several project management and document review solutions. Prior to my current role, I worked at a large company that had the budget for enterprise solutions. When I transitioned to my current position at a smaller agency, I set a goal of finding a review tool that would be a value add for both our clients and our team. It would have to have many of the features I had seen in the expensive enterprise solutions but at a price that would be affordable to a smaller agency. After searching for a while and reviewing many different options, I found ReviewStudio. I was so impressed with the trial that I presented it to the owner of our agency, and we immediately started training our team. It's been a massive asset to our team. We operate more efficiently; it has reduced the occurrence of missed or incorrect edits and has streamlined the review process for both our internal team and our clients. I am also blown away by how hard the ReviewStudio team is working to make continuous improvements.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

My only nit-picky feedback is that the review canvas on mobile devices could use some improvement as it is a bit glitchy.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio is very prompt to address any issues me or my team have and they are open to our feedback on how to improve the product. We have gained efficiencies in our review workflow thanks to ReviewStudio. It is robust with great features and has really streamlined the process for us.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for this feedback. We are constantly working on improving our mobile UX.
If there is ever anything in particular you run into, let us know and we will address.

Otherwise, we are glad you found us and happy to have you on board!
We always welcome your feedback.

  ### 17. Streamline your review process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeannie C. | Editor, INFUSION magazine + INFUSION Express, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

This product allows us to capture comments from the entire team without wasting time routing from one person to the next.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

It still can't make some folks review materials on time--but that's an "us" problem.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time, captures all comments and allows for replies, ideal for multiple remote workers--all in all produces a better product and reduces expensive changes at the printer.

  ### 18. Very user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clinton W. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The review interface is pretty intuitive and has a very clean design. Uploading files and new versions is really easy. Allowing you to notify customers separately from uploading a file is also a really nice feature. Also being able to see a list of collaborators on the proof along with showing you who's currently active and who isn't really ensures quick response time between you and a reviewer/customer.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

You can only select one filter at a time when in the review. There is not a button within the reviews to take you back to the folder you were just in. It's only the back button on your browser and when you use that, it doesn't refresh the page with the changes you just made. There's also no way to save an email template to a proof. You have to recopy an email from another document into the email window. They are supposed to be fixing this issue soon.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client accessibility to the proof without having to download an app creates better response frequency and an overall happier experience for our customers. Internal use on projects that involve mutliple people becomes much easier to organize and is allowing everyone to easily comment on or complete the changes that are needed.

  ### 19. Gets the job done

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Quick reviewing of various kinds of visual content. The canvas is what makes this tool useful. It's great for still images, not animations as video is not supported.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The overall dashboard system is not so great. In fact it's kind of clunky and takes quite a bit of time for you to use it effectively. It's a shame since otherwise the basic tools work great.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Try it out, you'll see if you like it or not.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solve image commenting and revisions with ReviewStudio. It's used for all kinds of visual markups and annotations as well. It speeds up this part of our work nicely.

  ### 20. Perfect Review Platform for Marketing Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Albert D. | Co-Founder & President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Great interface and intuitive navigation

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

It's an excellent platform for reviews, nothing wrong with it.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple changes to multiple documents for catalog publishing

  ### 21. Helpful for our Design Team and Clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** james o. | CEO / Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I like the markup, email sending, and approval.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I'd like for Review Studio to work with text content. I think this would be beneficial for writing copy.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

I've tried some other review platforms. I liked the ability to email clients and team members for each design.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our design team can easily get designs approved for clients. This works great for programmatic and social.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for the review and support James.

Just to clarify we work very nicely with text for review and approval.
I think you might be looking for text editing? I don't know that we will provide text editing capabilities within our software in the near future.

Keep the feedback coming!

The most helpful about ReviewStudio that I can highlight is the ease of sharing documents, versions and reviewing content.
Great tool for our clients and for our client service team, even the studio is using the tool now.

Great for sharing/review any type of content, video, pdfs, presentations or any other material that we are working on.

Collaboration is key for our agency and clients have been very receptive to the change.
Overall very good and very happy.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The UX its a bit tricky sometimes, especially with the zoom functionality. But overall pretty happy with everything.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

If you are looking for a tool that is easy to use and easy to share, this is the one that you need.
Great for external and internal collaboration. Sharing proofs has never been that easy. Tracking changes its a dream now, which means that we can go back to different versions and check, over and over.
The tool is fast, reliable and very convenient.
The team is also very friendly to work with, always willing to help with any doubts or questions you might have.
If you have to review documents with your clients this is the way to go. I've tried other tools, but this one definitively wins.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client feedback and follow up. Sharing video content for review. Missing feedback from the client, missing actions on the feedback.

Really clear and concise/precise actions on the feedback. Good, notification system. Very easy to share with multiple users.

Also very good to be able to activate and deactivate users whenever you need to. Easy communication with the team, within the tool itself.

  ### 24. Great proofing solution for organization with multiple approval layers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John V. | D, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio is a great way to get multiple eyes on a project and make required edits on the fly. Prior to discovering ReviewStudio we would route paper proofs to several different people and wait weeks for approval and have to chase down lost job tickets. ReviewStudio puts everything in an easy to use web format that people can approve and mark up from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

After the initial learning curve and staff training, we have not found anything that we dislike about ReviewStudio. It takes new employees a little time to become comfortable with using it, but the training resources offered are very helpful and our rep has always been available to work through any issues.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

This is a fantastic tool when dealing with approval layers across multiple departments or with teams who are remote. Email alerts can be set for comments and feedback, so that documents can be edited in real time. Perfect tool for reviewing and approving print documents and video projects.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Approval time for projects has been dramatically reduced, allowing us to work more efficiently - especially during the work from home days of COVID.

  ### 25. Review Studio has been instrumental to organize our production stages and reviews with client teams.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quinn N. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The ability to reduce email clutter, wiped our clients pdf markups! keeps our team and client teams onside for efficient production. Abilility to track progression of an image, and refer back , and ensure our team has addressed all comments.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The interface can be a bit buggy in the browser, refreshing after each image upload is very tedious, erasing or editing or lack of more robust markup/ sketchovers. Few on screen organization and user based colour coding enhancements would be better to identify who is marking or making comments, waiting for solution to deal with inhouse and out of house reviews without having to make copies for private markups to team after client feedback.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the review process. Most clients find it easy to learn and benficial so this gets everyone on board and working in a way that is most efficient for us. Benefits are organized reviews letting us better distil communication with our inhouse and out of house communications.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks Quinn for the kind review. We are always improving our interface and your feedback is valuable. We will follow up with you on the specifics of what you are finding buggy and further editing/markup needs you have. We are working through an interface upgrade that addresses elements of the colour coding - in the past we've avoided this due to UX issues this would raise.

Lastly, we're also going to follow up to have you join our internal and external workflow beta which should go live this week.

Thanks again and we are happy to be an instrumental part of your workflows.

  ### 26. Great for what we need

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

What I like the best so far are the different text tools.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I dislike having to use the hand tool to move around the page.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving a more efficient internal review process.

  ### 27. EVP, Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan M. | E, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Ease of use - the system is super user friendly. It handles live HTML files which was key to our success.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

More filters in the dashboard may be helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

If you are in the electronic marketing space, this is the product for you. Most of the product out there are static (PDF based). Review Studio certainly handles that as well as anyone. For us, the big positive was the ability to handle live emails and web pages. When we had minor suggestions, their support staff quickly jumped on them and released several new options based on our comments. Superior personalized service!

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform has totally re-invented our processes for approvals of emails and landing pages. We design hundreds of client specific marketing emails and landing pages each month. This was the best system in terms or rendering html files (versus static pdfs). It has saved us a TON of time and our clients love the ease of the system. Instead of "live testing" hundreds of emails, we simply drag and drop html files and the clients can review them at their leisure (as opposed to searching through their in box).

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for the Review Ryan! We are so happy to have you on board - saving you time and keeping your clients happy is what we strive for.
By the way, late in 2020, we launched dashboard filter and sort. You can also filter by tasks, approvals, comments pending and labels.

  ### 28. Saved us time and money on a huge project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I had demo meetings with half a dozen platforms and picked Review Studio because we were trying to convert a client that liked links, spreadsheets, and emails for reviews. I needed something very simple, easy to understand, and quick to learn. That was RS!! It took less than a week for their company and ours to understand the front end and back end of the platform. That was it! They saved us hours on email chains for "spots" that the client could see that we couldn't. Now, they simply circle the issue and we are automatically on the same page. And, we can comment to each other and see other's comments so we don't all make the same comments over and over. Very reliable and the tech service has been quick. I highly recommend ReviewStudio.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

The only pet peeve my entire team has is the inability to click on a marker in the timeline and see what comment is associated with that marker. If they fixed this, it would be a flawless platform.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

I highly recommend ReviewStudio to ease the approval process. It was so simple that the client couldn't say no and revert back to spreadsheets and emails!

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a client that wanted all video notes sent in a spreadsheet back and forth. We had to hire a person just to decipher these notes and get each note to its respective editor. It was a waste of money, time-consuming, and caused delays. Now, we see who has and hasn't done their reviews, exactly where their comments apply and the editors are addressed directly.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for the kind review. This is probably one of the best cases for an ROI I've come across.
Let me see what we can do about the marker. Did you know you can sort comments on video by timecode? This can make it simpler to browse across a timeline.

Collapse and cycle is another great feature for reviewing and isolating feedback.

  ### 29. A great collaboration tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

It's user friendly and very easy to use, everyone in the office learnt very quickly how to use it, even the more technologically challenged members of the team. As an admin, I love that tasks can be marked as done or re-assigned to different users.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Scrolling pages and zooming in and out is a bit clunky. I also had troubles reviewing links from our staging website - had to screenshot everything and upload as PDF which was quite time consuming.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Review Studio, we were printing samples and circulating in the office for approval: this was creating all sort of issues, from losing track of who saw a certain artwork and who didn't, to deciphering hand-written notes, to delays due to team members not being in the office. Review Studio streamlined the process and made it so much easier for our Marketing and Graphic Design team. Our Execs even bragged about it and recommended it to other organisations!

  ### 30. Review Studio for 3D Artists

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Consolidated feedback platform that clients quickly adopt for solo or collaborative reviews

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Comment organisation, you can currently assign comments to users, but colour coordinating would be perfect.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comments can be stored in one central location (rather than in multiple emails)
Comments are more concise and can be actioned correctly, increasing artist efficiency

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for the feedback.
We are considering colors or labels for comments to make it easier to visually navigate.
Sorting and filtering can work really nicely for most use-cases.

Glad you are enjoying your experience!

  ### 31. The Best Review Platform I have Used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Review Studio has a vast array of tools that are most helpful to us and our clients.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There is not one thing we ever discovered that was a negative.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to just email proofs to our clients. The problem with that method is it doesn't give the client the proper tools they need to make changes in the vision they have for their particular project.

  ### 32. Review Studio has gotten a lot better with more features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I like review Studio because it is easy to share reviews with a client with an option to provide a password for access and all the feedback from all parties are located in one place to be able to refer to it throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I don't like that the review studio cannot be accessed on a phone

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I realized that I dont have to go through my emails to keep track of client changes they are all in one place. The benefits review studio has is that its easy to use and allows you to attach documents to support the revision request and that my team automatically sees the requests right away as opposed to sorting through emails,

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Centralizing feedback is critical - and we're glad to be helping on that front.
We are only getting started on the features side and while our current responsive mobile experience allows for review and approval tasks, improving the experience is high on our list.

  ### 33. Great for teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The ability to graphically convey revisions

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I wish you could show text in red on markup

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees in different time zones and locations can function with minimal discussion

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Hi - Thanks for the Review.

I'd love to get clarity on what you mean re: Showing text in red on markup?
With the text highlighter we allow you highlight text (you can customize the color/opacity).
You can also highlight differences in compare mode.

  ### 34. Review Studio by Asymetrie

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2020

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Possibility to have many projects.

Good reactivity for file management.

The link remains the same and is quite easy to share.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Images update system better than older versions, but could be faster again and more comfortable by drag and dropping individual files directly in the main page of the concerned review.

That would be great to be able to "hide" an image in a review, in order to keep information for me, and the client wouldn't be able to see it anymore.

There might be some more tools. Also switching between tools is sometimes a bit non reactive (on windows/firefox)

Zoom system sometimes a bit weird.

Support for pen tablet would be so nice !

When I share the link, clients often think that the second field they have to fill is a password, I have frequent returns from them asking for the password.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering client comments, and giving the possibility to teamates to see all comments.

Better than annoted pdf where it's hard to read some handwriting.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Hi Asymetrie team! A big thanks for being a customer of ours all these years.

- The separation between client and internal feedback should be live shortly. We are testing it in beta.
- The zoom system is in the process of being updated, you should see a marked improvement.
- We are looking at supporting tablet pens.
- Guest users only require a password if you set "guest password" as on. Otherwise they won't require a password.

  ### 35. Designers dream platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2020

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Long gone are the days where I need to try to decipher alterations that my client has printed off, scribbled on in colour coding then scanned back to me in black and white.

I have a clear set of alterations to work from. It also allows everyone who needs to approve the document to see other peoples comments so I no longer have to work through 5 versions or decide who has the final say when they disagree on a change.

It also means that each party doesn't have to waste paper by printing it out.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

It would be good to be able as owner to disable some of the features. For example I don't like giving my clients access to the free draw tool. They revert to their old ways and draw all over my review. I know its fun but leave the drawing to the designer ;)

It would be good if the client could mark their alterations at each stage as complete rather than just approved or approved with changes. We

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend review studio to any designers or those in the creative industries. It has capabilities beyond what I use it for, video, interiors, publications etc. If you yourself cannot afford to have the platform but you do work with a client that calls for a review, ask them to take on the ownership of the platform. It will save you all money and productivity.

Sign up for the free trial and showcase it to your clients. Also set up a trial doc that means something to them they see more relevance in this that the one pre-loaded.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone can see each others alterations so I no longer have to be diplomatic about asking who's change I should go with. It saves me having to get them to have a conversation between themselves first. It alleviates repeat alterations by multiple people.

It improves my workflow and efficiency making me profitable as a business. I can spend my time doing the bits of my job i love.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I like how easy it is to use. I was able to teach non-tech save co-workers how to use it so easily.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There isnt much I dislike. I would love to see a better way of archiving the completed projects, but its not like they are hard to find.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

N/A

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved the problem of working from home. We no longer had to worry about how projects would circulate for approvals.

**Official Response from Joey Tanny:**

> Glad that we could make it a little bit easier in these crazy times.

Archiving completed projects is pretty easy - have a look at this link.

  ### 38. ReviewStudio is a gamechanger for our production and marketing teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Transformed how long it took our team create collateral and get projects out the door.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There are small things (like on canvas rulers) but the core product is fantastic.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

If you are stuck - reach out to their support.
They are so helpful and quick.
This was a new process for us, and while we started up, their support helped us out in a big way.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed to approval and ease of cross department comms have been dramatically improved.
Our teams, both creatives and management are happier with the end results.

  ### 39. Intuitive and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The process of sending files of any type out for review and collecting feedback from several different parties is simplified. The range of markup tools available to reviewers is really comprehensive.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

There is nothing I dislike about ReviewStudio at this point.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With ReviewStudio I am able to communicate feedback with a level of precision and ease that emailing a comments or a document back and forth just doesn't allow. The threaded conversations makes feedback easy to follow and implement with little friction.

  ### 40. Well worth the investment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2020

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

Tracking feedback is very easy as with approvals. It is easy for all our clients to use.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

My only con is you cant dictate what order you want new uploads to land in per project. Not a big deal as you just grab and reorder, but removing that step would be nice.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collects and allows for all client media reviews. Consolidates all feedback and approvals in one place.

  ### 41. Great and AFFORDABLE online review platform for photography and video

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2020

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The price point is amazing and even when I go though periods of not using it I maintain my subscription because it is so affordable. The platform itself is clear and easy to use, intuitive and very functional. The variety of markup tools really covers everything I an Amy clients need in order to properly communicate desired tasks and corrections. The speed and responsiveness is also very good!

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I wish there was a BIT more ability to customize / brand the interface to match my company look but this is a minor issue. My clients still think this is my own platform but I just wish I could tie in more of my companies "look and feel".

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

This is a great strong platform at an amazing price.. There are others out there but the ROI on Review Studio can't be beat.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to quickly and easily get images to clients for markup and review streamlines my workflow and helps me be more productive. I feel the UI is quick easy and intuitive. I can get images up for review VERY quickly and the ability to lock it down at a certain point is very valuable. I can then let my team loose and use it to track progress and completion of tasks.

  ### 42. Essential part of our creative workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio has been essential for managing feedback and approvals with clients, designers and subcontractors. It's seamless, transparent -and most importantly very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Nothing really to mention here. Great support is really fast at addressing out needs,

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReviewStudio has shaved countless hours off of our production cycles and given both our teams and client side greater satisfaction with our process - and end results.

  ### 43. Essential for my studio's creative process

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2021

Putting video, photos and brochures in one place for the whole team to give feedback.
No file transfers or downloads.
All out work is consolidated and we can go back at any time to see versions and why work was done.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Nothing. It's so much better than how we used to work.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing work and keeping feedback consolidated.

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

- Clients get it fast
- Much less back and forth
- Works very well with video and PDFs (especially white papers)

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Not much - we were using a much more complicated tool before for a lot more money or features we never used.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

They offer training for anyone - including your clients. Very helpful.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Feedback and approval cycles
Broken communication between client and creative

  ### 45. Covers Range of Agency Collaboration Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2020

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

As an account manager on several big client accounts for 360 content, Reviewstudio lets me get feedback, tasks and client approvals really quickly. The centralized communications makes it much simpler to understand project evolutions.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Not much really. Their team tends to react well and quickly when I need something done.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clearer comunications. Fewer emails and revisions. Less client confusion. Faster projects.
All because feedback is done directly on content. It started after a few very painfully long emails + dropbox. We were looking for a better way.

  ### 46. Discuss the visual information remotely quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

ReviewStudio is a sophisticated tool, yet intuitive and easy to use by anyone on all platforms and screens. It is easy to upload and share content with stakeholders, simple to add comments to images and videos, and we also refine comments with attachments, links, and additional comments. Excellent customer service, good functionality for the client, optimized proof loading, incredible file search/tagging system, thumbnails and text for the file list, and quick notifications.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I can't think of any. The software is very robust and the Review Studio team has fantastic support.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

This tool is quite recommended as it does a good job of consolidating the contributions of a group. Quite easy to use. We have to join hands with some of our users.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ReviewStudio to send graphic projects to multiple stakeholders and get their feedback. This works very well for us and allows us to get feedback in one place. Think of it as getting reviews in a Google Docs document but for design, print, and video.

  ### 47. Pros and Cons

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2019

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The simplicity in posting a comment is one of the best features of this software. I work with multiple teams, technical and non-tecnhical, and the simplicity of the review feature helps all of us be on the same page. This saves a lot of training cost and time.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

We as an organisation have always been in awe with the software. Something which we dislike is that review comments lack a bit of chronology if there are multiple reviews on a single file. The numbering, in that case, happens on the basis of who reviewed the file first. But it disturbs the flow for a person who needs to implement those changes.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

Try it out! It can be very helpful, but I would recommend that you try it first because it depends on the person - I think it's very helpful for my work at school especially working at the student-led cafe.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are several benefits - including the review features which saves us time, but many of the problems included lack of connectivity

  ### 48. Best for Multiple People Reviewing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris H. | Vice President, Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2019

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

The best part of ReviewTrackers is that multiple people can contribute to a review at the same time and on the same file. No more sending PDFs around to multiple people and then getting them back with comments and having to compile all of them together. Plus, it prevents duplication of work. Once someone has made an edit, others don't have to because they see other people's comments.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

Some people find navigating around the review window a bit confusing. I wish it were more intuitive. Also, it is hard for them to zoom in and out. I don't have a problem with it, but some of my people get confused by it.
I also wish there were more plan options. A jump from 1 user to 7 is hard to justify.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

You can use it for all sorts of things. Not just design stuff. For example, you can use it for documents as well.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this to send documents and designas for review to people. (Videos too, that's cool!) This has greatly sped up our review process.

  ### 49. Amazing to collaborate, edit and manage reviews.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratima P. | Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2019

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

It is very easy to use. All of our client's comments gets in one place.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

For a new user, it takes sometime to learn how to use this. Otherwise this is a fantastic software.

**Recommendations to others considering ReviewStudio:**

I highly recommend this product.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this to review my projects from my team. This is the one stop of everyone to provide their feedback. It helps me to just rely on one place for the review/feedbacks rather than digging into my emails to collects the information.

**What do you like best about ReviewStudio?**

I love it that this software uses human language for coding. It makes it a lot more accessible. Much easier to use than some other softwares.

**What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?**

I think there's still some work to be done with this software. For example, I was working with a data set that had missing data, and the software just would not recognize my commands. In SPSS, I can easily exclude those missing data.

**What problems is ReviewStudio solving and how is that benefiting you?**
