Who is ReviewStudio pricing best suited for?

According to G2 reviewers, ReviewStudio's pricing is best suited for small to mid-sized creative teams in industries like marketing and advertising, graphic design, architecture, and media production. Small businesses frequently praise the affordability and ease of use at the Pro tier, while mid-market teams gravitate toward the Advanced tier for workflow automations and unlimited reviews. G2 reviews of ReviewStudio indicate that agencies managing multiple client projects benefit most from the Advanced plan's unlimited review capacity and guest access. What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of ReviewStudio?

ReviewStudio's free Starter plan supports individuals managing up to three active reviews with 5 GB storage, covering core features like versioning, task management, and all file formats. ReviewStudio's paid plans significantly expand capacity and team functionality. The Pro tier, starting at $12, adds 25 GB storage per user, 10 active reviews per user, unlimited guests, and custom branding. The Advanced tier at $20 unlocks unlimited reviews, API access, workflow automations, comment privacy, and client and project teams, but requires a minimum of five users. G2 reviewers note that workflow automation and unlimited reviews are key drivers for upgrading beyond the free or entry-level tiers.

Is ReviewStudio considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers of ReviewStudio overwhelmingly indicate strong value for money, with multiple users explicitly citing competitive pricing relative to the functionality offered. Reviewers from small businesses and mid-market companies frequently praise the low cost compared to similar proofing platforms, with one G2 reviewer noting it as a superior alternative to ProofHQ at a better price. A graphic design reviewer flagged per-user costs as high, and a small agency noted the five-user minimum on the Advanced tier as a constraint. However, the high average rating alongside recurring value mentions across industries like marketing, architecture, and design suggests ReviewStudio's pricing delivers strong return on investment for most teams.

5/5
What do you like best about ReviewStudio?

ReviewStudio makes it very easy to compare versions, and the team love the ability to draw on the artwork and add comments directly.

Relatively low cost for the functionality it provides. Allows external/guest reviewers which is useful for collaborating with our suppliers/printers.

Easy to talk to customer service whenever needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?

Workflow notifications sometimes don't get delivered, but our product team lives in this system and the internal notification feed/page is up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Daniela Zappacosta of ReviewStudio

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ReviewStudio. We're pleased that you and the team find the functionality valuable, such as the compare mode and mark up tools, and the cost reasonable.

The in-app notifications are a great back up to have available, however, we will be happy to work with you to address the workflow notifications. When this happens next, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@reviewstudio.com.

Thank you for your support!

"Reliable markup and review tool with great support, though UI could improve"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ReviewStudio?

ReviewStudio has been an essential tool for our team, particularly when working on drawing reviews with both vendors and internal stakeholders. The platform shines when it comes to ease of sharing content and managing collaborative reviews. It provides a central space for design and construction documentation that helps us stay organized across tight timelines. The pricing is very reasonable for the functionality it offers, and the support team is responsive and proactive—especially when it comes to leading training sessions and hearing out our feedback. What do you dislike about ReviewStudio?

While the core functionality is strong, the user interface can feel a bit unintuitive at times. Some menu systems require more navigation than necessary for simple tasks, and certain features are heavily geared toward very specific types of reviews, which don’t always align with the flexibility our team needs. We'd love to see improvements in the UI and broader customization options to make it more adaptable for different workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
