I like that there are different options in setting the reminders up the way we want. Having the ability to reach patients/parents by multiple avenues of communication is a good way to make sure we are reaching them regarding their scheduled appointment. I wish we could customize texts more or be able to use more characters but understand the regulations behind it. I wish that the system integrated more with EMA so that if a patient wants to reschedule we can remove the previous reminder messages in EMA and reschedule with no issues. The current system does not allow you to edit that information which causes my staff to have to cancel the appointment and schedule a new one for the reminder status to be correct. Relatient integrates into our Allscript platform, automatically pulls patient information, then sends out collateral to our patients. This has been a helpful product for retaining patients and providing them a good experience. We have seen an increase in returning patients to to this product.
