To be honest, it's a very complex process. It's not an upload and play tool, and you need a lot of time and training to configure everything correctly because there are so many settings. Also, the user interface can feel cluttered. It's not easy to set up at first; we had to spend several weeks just configuring the workflows and mapping our data. The One Trust Privacy Automation module is intuitive and easy to configure. The platform is reliable and stable - I have not experienced any outages or other concerns. Handling privacy requests properly is critical to stay compliant and I feel confident that this can be achieved using the One Trust platform. In the course of the 5 years - I've had good and not so good support since we did not purchase the Enterprise Support. However, I have been very happy with our new Account Representative and the additional features available for support (access to support calls, support calendars). I would like to see better out of the box reporting using the Dashboards and Reports. The Dashboard graph options are somewhat limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tools are configured with privacy minded individuals. Privacy Assessments are easy to configure if you want to create your own, or you can use out of the box assessments that are pretty good depending on the size of your business. Answers are collected and stored in the Data Mapping tool, where you have the ability to create reports, or again use out of the box reports for things like your RoPA. I don't dislike anything, I have features that I would like to see that have not been implemented yet. A true non-production to production process where you can migrate data after it's been tested properly is the #1 feature the tool does not have today, making you make changes directly in production. The tool itself is a great one, with lots of templates that makes your complaince work easy. For large organization is an asset and you can rely to have made a huge part of the compliance work inside the tool. Also the fact there are worldwide approach benefits the company. We dislke the fact that there are some limitations whe it comes to the deletion of records. There is no bulk deletion template, which would be way easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
