"Highly Customizable, great for scaling a company with client facing work and process documentation"
What do you like best about Notion?

I love how customizable it is, how easy it is to find example templates that you can build off of and how I can structure things anyway I like to work best for our team. I also find it so easy to be able to interconnect systems, links and workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I dislike that it seems to take up so much bandwidth that it constantly slows my computer down while using. I am unable (but need to) share screen on notion and while on a video meeting often and my comptuer always has issues with that. Note: I am on a Macbook Pro with M3 chip and have high-speed internet. I also wish it has more automation capabilities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bridging Planning and Execution in Project and Operations Management with Notion"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like most about Notion for project management is how naturally it brings everything together. Tasks, timelines, and documentation live in one place, making it easy to stay organized, keep people on task, and move projects forward without unnecessary friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

What I dislike about Notion is that email attachments in Notion Mail don’t flow cleanly into projects, which creates extra steps and breaks momentum when managing work that depends on shared files and timely handoffs. I am sure Notion is currently working to rectify this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion as a Digital To-Do List for Short- and Long-Term Business Goals"
What do you like best about Notion?

For our business notion works like a to-do list or a daily task planner in which we write all the short term and long term goals of our business and then plan for it accordingly. It is is the software that is complete digital based and can also be accessed by the managers of different departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The user interface of notion is little complex and it took almost 45 days to learn about each and every feature of this tool. Also, whenever we load heavy pages which have lot of graphic contents the platform took longer time periods to shuffle from one page to another. These are some of the major drawbacks of this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely Flexible Workspace for Centralized Docs, Projects, and Knowledge"
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is extremely flexible, allowing teams to centralize documentation, project tracking, and knowledge management in a single workspace. I especially like how customizable it is, whether I’m creating simple notes or building complex databases with relations and different views. It keeps information well organized, reduces the need to juggle multiple tools, and makes collaboration and documentation far more efficient across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Performance can occasionally become an issue, especially when working with large databases or very complex pages. Advanced permission management also remains limited for larger teams, and the offline functionality is minimal. On top of that, Notion’s flexibility can feel overwhelming at first, and it takes some time to properly structure workspaces and keep them well maintained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible All-in-One Workspace with Intuitive Design"
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is extremely flexible and serves well as an all-in-one workspace for notes, documentation, task tracking, and project management. We are able to tailor it precisely to fit our workflow, rather than being confined to a rigid system. The user interface is clean, minimal, and intuitive. Its powerful databases, helpful templates, and seamless collaboration features further enhance the overall experience. Very easy to integrate it with various services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

At first, the sheer number of customization options and features can feel overwhelming. I’ve noticed that performance sometimes lags when the database becomes large, which can disrupt my workflow. Customer support is quite weak, and the search function isn’t always accurate. While the platform is flexible, setting everything up correctly takes time. Overall, I’d say the learning curve is fairly steep, but it becomes much smoother once you get used to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Organization Made Effortless with Notion"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best about Notion is that everything stays in one place. I use it for notes planning and managing my work. It is flexible and easy to customize based on my needs. Pages databases and templates help me stay organized and save time. It works well for both personal use and projects and keeps things simple once you get used to it.Even u can add comments and mark complete when the project is done . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

What I dislike about notion is that it can feel confusing at first because there are many features and options. It takes time to understand how everything works. Setting up pages and databases can feel slow in the beginning. Sometimes performance drops when pages become large. Offline access is limited which creates problems when internet is not stable. The mobile app also feels less smooth compared to the desktop version.version history is limited on free plans which can be improved . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Productivity Powerhouse with Flexible Workflows"
What do you like best about Notion?

I really like how Notion combines notes, databases, and task management all in one platform. The flexibility to create custom workflows and organize everything visually makes it easy to keep my projects, personal tasks, and team collaboration in one place. Templates are a huge plus and save a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Sometimes it feels a bit slow when loading large pages or databases. The learning curve can also be steep for new users because of all the customization options, and finding certain settings or features takes some time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ultimate Flexibility: Build Your Workspace Like a Lego Set with Notion"
What do you like best about Notion?

It’s a Lego set for work

Notion is basically “pages + blocks + databases” that you can assemble into docs, wikis, project trackers, and more. That flexibility is the magic Docs + databases in one place (the “single source of truth” effect)

You can write the spec and track the tasks and link the research and publish the result—without everything living in separate apps. Notion explicitly positions itself for knowledge bases and projects in the same workspace.Notion has an integrations hub (Slack/Jira/GitHub/Asana etc.), plus Synced Databases so external systems can show live-ish data inside Notion.

Notion

+1

And for custom work, the Notion API exists for building your own integrations/workflow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

It’s easy to build a “beautiful mess”

Notion’s flexibility can turn into:

12 dashboards

40 databases

0 clarity

Translation: you can accidentally create a productivity theme park that you maintain instead of using.Easy to start” ≠ “easy to master”

Basic pages are friendly. But databases, relations, rollups, permissions, and stable workflows have a learning curve (and teams often implement them inconsistently).

3) Support can be uneven depending on plan + issue type

Officially: Notion provides support channels like email and in-app chat, and there’s a large Help Center/Academy.

Notion

+2

Notion

Reality: response time and depth can vary—especially for tricky bugs or account recovery (and enterprise tends to get priority). That variability is a planning risk if you’re running mission-critical ops in it.

4) Lock-in + exports

You can export, but complex database setups don’t always translate cleanly to other tools. If you go all-in, treat it like a platform choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective and Powerful Centralization"
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion has become a true pillar in my daily organization. It is a clear, structured, and remarkably intuitive tool that transforms the chaos of ideas into a calm and controlled space. Each feature is designed with intelligence and attention to detail, making planning not only efficient but almost enjoyable. Notion brings clarity, centralization, and structure, allowing me to know exactly where I stand without wasting time or energy. It helps me stay in control, prioritize effectively, and lighten my mental load. It is a reliable, inspiring, and decidedly modern tool that I use alongside other software to centralize information, eliminate duplications, and facilitate tracking. Finally, the technical installation went smoothly, and once past the initial setup phase, using Notion became natural and very fluid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Some features require a short adaptation period at the beginning. For new users, a more guided onboarding or ready-to-use examples could facilitate the experience and make the tool immediately more intuitive. Initially, the richness of Notion can be slightly overwhelming. For example, some functions like database customization, page relationships, or automation of tracking require a bit of exploration and trial before being fully mastered. A more guided onboarding journey, with concrete usage examples for different profiles, would help reduce this learning curve. Short integrated tutorials or even more "ready-to-use" templates would help users quickly take full advantage of the tool's potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Note-Taking and Reporting with Powerful Formatting Options"
What do you like best about Notion?

The main strength of this tool lies in its efficiency for taking notes. While there are many text editors out there, this one has become my preferred choice for both reporting and formatting tasks. Whether I need to create a formal report or jot down personal notes, I find it easy to use and customize my documents as I wish. It offers a wide range of options for writing and formatting, going beyond just font size and font type. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

There isn't much to say. This tool is not open-source, and after a 14-day trial period, you are required to purchase a license to continue using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
