What I like best about Notion is that everything stays in one place. I use it for notes planning and managing my work. It is flexible and easy to customize based on my needs. What I dislike about notion is that it can feel confusing at first because there are many features and options. It takes time to understand how everything works. Setting up pages and databases can feel slow in the beginning. Sometimes performance drops when pages become large. Offline access is limited which creates problems when internet is not stable. I really like how Notion combines notes, databases, and task management all in one platform. The main strength of this tool lies in its efficiency for taking notes. While there are many text editors out there, this one has become my preferred choice for both reporting and formatting tasks. Notion is by far the best tool I've used for bringing my projects, ideas, and tasks all into a usable space without overwhelm or clutter. The databases are incredibly robust, and using the views to quickly get actionable info or create a personal dashboard has been invaluable. I've also recently started trying the AI Agents but so far they've been both helpful and genuinely exciting to use. The ease of use is impressive given how complex their database linkage can be. I've also been very happy with the ease of integration into my own workflows. I would prefer a bit more robustness in the calculation properties. Even just If-This-Then-Sum-That would be nice, and a VLOOKUP function would be incredible. But for those I can use my own Excel/Google Sheets when I need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was on the first personal plan and had the AI addon. I was forced to join the business account which cost significantly more..... I feel this transition should have happened smoother over time so the sudden price shock wouldn't be as impactful.

Also, I have been asking Notion support to add this one feature for years now but they haven't: the feature is the ability to set the width to "Full Width" for all pages by default, via a toggle. Would be very easy to do, other Notion users have told me they want it, but Notion has not taken note.

The weakness for Notion is it doesn't handle photo and video galleries very well, its very clunky to manage photo libraries in Notion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ability to customize my workspaces (I call them Dashboards) for the way I think and work. It's easy to integrate other products I use into my dashboards so I can keep all of my "digital knowledge" in one location. I use Notion every day, and appreciate how easy it was to get started using it in the beginning. I've interacted with their customer support and they've been extremely responsive every time. I also appreciate how the company responds to feature requests and implements them quickly. The AI writing assistant, search, and other AI features have been great. Absolutely love the AI integration as well as the UX/UI of the website. it's clean and simple layout scratches my brain in such a good way as I head the operations and project management.
