"Centralized Visibility & Smarter Workflow Management"
What do you like best about Notion?

I like that it's flexible and everything lives in one place, so you’re not constantly bouncing between tools. It gives you great visibility, where you can build something that works for you and still roll it up into a team view without duplicating work. It makes collaboration feel much more organized and intentional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Things can get messy fast without structured page links and connections. There’s definitely some manual upkeep as well to maintain a database up to date. We also already rely on other tools like Slack and our calendars, so some of Notion’s features (like reminders or comments) don’t get used consistently. It can feel duplicative. "Versatile and Intuitive Tool for Solopreneurs"
What do you like best about Notion?

I really love the clean and minimal interface of Notion. I like how it's flexible, yet still has some structure. It's nice to be able to customize the structure to an extent, and it helps fit my way of thinking. The interface makes it very easy to read and see information without clutter, which is important for me since I have been overwhelmed in the past by the cluttered design of other interfaces. Notion keeps everything organized, making it easy to process. I was also excited about the depth of information I can have with Notion, and I appreciate the complete customization available to organize my professional, personal, and creative life. It's an intuitive software, allowing me to jump right in and start building out the systems I needed within a few hours. I've continued to refine them over the years, constantly being able to tailor it to be more efficient and fit my needs. It really helps me keep information organized, searchable, easy to access, and up-to-date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I would like to have the ability to have multiple databases be viewable in a single database view, yet still be separate for users of those distinct databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Swiss Army Knife of Productivity in 2026"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I love most is that Notion is a truly versatile tool. It’s the "all-in-one" workspace that actually lives up to the name. The context-aware AI (Notion AI) has become a massive productivity booster for me, allowing me to summarize long meeting notes or generate action items instantly. The database functionality is unmatched; being able to flip between a Kanban board, a Gallery, and a Calendar view for the same data set is a game-changer for my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The initial learning curve can be steep for new users. While it's powerful, it isn't always "plug-and-play," and setting up a complex workspace requires significant time. Additionally, the fast performance can occasionally dip when a page becomes overloaded with heavy blocks or large databases. I would also like to see more robust offline capabilities for those times when a stable internet connection isn't available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion: Powerful Yet Straightforward Note-Taking"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like about Notion is how complex it is and how straightforward it is to use. Honestly, this is the best app for note-taking I have ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

I can not think of anything I dislike about Notion. The only complaint I would have is that using that slash command to quickly pick an option for the note does not work on my mobile device. It's such a quick, convenient thing to use. I wish it worked on my phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable Tool That Keeps Me Organized and Consistent"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like most is how I can set it up in a way that actually makes sense for me. I use it for school, personal goals, and just keeping my life organized, and it helps me stay consistent. I love that I can customize everything. It makes it easier for me to stay on track and not feel all over the place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The only thing I don’t like is that it can be a little slow sometimes and it takes a minute to figure out how to set things up. Once I understand it, it’s fine, it just took me some time in the beginning. Also, I don’t own a business so the pricing model for individual use and A.I. features is geared for business and very expensive. If there was a more equitable personal use pricing model. I would very much appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Valuable Visibility, Challenging Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Notion?

I like how Notion provides a fairly visual roadmap of what's going on, which really helps in tracking project progress without having to deal with all the information at once. It's also great that I can switch from an overview page directly to a specific page and immediately start working. This feature is especially helpful when I'm juggling multiple projects and need to view more than 5-6 projects in a single view, which is quite beneficial during Zoom calls when sharing my screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

It's been a learning curve to add new drop downs on a page. It's also annoying that things filter by alphabetical order by default. There are some times when I am planning "April 2025, May... June... July... August" and the page automatically filters to "April, August, May..." It would be nice to have a button that lets you decide HOW you want something sorted. When the side panel opens to create a new page, I wish I had the option to add a new property rather than just adding it to the old one. The setup was pretty difficult. It was a learning curve compared to Monday which is very intuitive. There's more functions in Notion, just takes longer to figure them out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Interface and Superior Organization"
What do you like best about Notion?

I really like the interface of Notion, which is very easy to understand. The AI of Notion is quite suggestive and shows me where I should click, making it easier to analyze or create new documents. The ease of using the tool helps a lot in daily life. The AI of Notion optimizes my time and offers me more organization. An example is in meetings, where I can record and then get a summary with the main topics. This interface makes my daily life easier, optimizes my time, fills in fields, and brings new ideas along with creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Yes, I think the Forms part of Notion needs to be a bit easier when building it. When we start constructing the database through a form, it ends up being a bit more complex when selecting the fields, so the issue of forms leaves something to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Custom Database Views Make Notion a Powerful Hub for R&D Projects"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best about Notion is the ability to design specific database views for the work I’m doing. My team has a database that includes a lot of content. When I’m setting up R&D projects, I often create a new “hub” for the project that may include a few brief explanations, but I primarily use filtered views into the team’s database to share information with the R&D team and remove unrelated pages. This way, the broader team can stay aware of what we’re building through the main database, while the R&D team can quickly navigate to only the relevant information. What do you dislike about Notion?

I currently dislike how when I copy a synced block (usually as part of a longer copying operation), that it sometimes does not become a synced block when pasted into another place. This may be an issue with user error, though, because I see that it sometimes works as expected. I am also slightly frustrated by how comments are sometimes displayed in Notion. I have some design documents that receive extensive comments and the location of comments in the right hand sign of the Web Browser UI sometimes pushes comments far away from the original marked up location if there are many comments "nearby". "Time-Saving Templates, Powerful Publish-to-Web, and Truly Helpful AI"
What do you like best about Notion?

Huge fan of the templates, they save so much time. Centralizing all our docs is great, but the "publish to web" feature is the real MVP for sharing specific pages externally. Also, the AI is actually useful for cleaning up messy notes or provide a really starting point for any document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

The Jira integration is a bit of a letdown. It feels like they're trying to replace Jira entirely rather than just playing nice with it. It’s simply not robust enough to handle complex dev ticketing, so it ends up feeling clunky rather than helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Collaborative, and Highly Customizable"
What do you like best about Notion?

I love the ability to use relational databases in Notion without everyone needing to be fluent in SQL. It's very powerful and is the biggest advantage for me. The UI in Notion is also just very intuitive and delightful to use. It provides all the power of building front-end and back-end applications using relational databases, wrapped with UIs and views to view all the data. As someone who is not heavily technical, being able to build tools to solve our internal problems at our organization with Notion is very satisfying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

We're still struggling a little bit with the granular permissions. Sometimes we expect something to work for someone with a certain permission but it doesn't work like we'd expect. I'd also love the ability to set passcodes when publishing things publicly. Right now, either everyone needs a Notion account, or it's available to the world. I wish there was an option in between where we could publish things to non-Notion account users but still have an extra level of security with a password. Otherwise, I'm actually rotating published URLs to ensure things don't end up in the wrong hands of competition. Also, there's not a native integration with Azure DevOps, and we're waiting to switch to GitHub projects just for the native integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
