# What PR analytics tools work for a mid-size company that wants to track brand mentions and earned media without paying for an enterprise monitoring suite?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For anyone here who reviews PR analytics tools from a mid-size seat, this question is for you. What <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/pr-analytics">PR analytics</a> tools work for a mid-size company that wants to track brand mentions and earned media without paying for an enterprise monitoring suite?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/meltwater/reviews"><strong>Meltwater</strong></a> tops the G2 grids, but it's precisely the suite in question, so deliberately off this list. A few that I found fit that middle:</p><ul>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/agility-pr-solutions/reviews"><strong>Agility PR Solutions</strong></a>: it’s a full monitoring plus sentiment without enterprise positioning; support rated near the category's top. Does pricing stay proportionate as topics and users grow?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/notified-pr-platform/reviews"><strong>Notified</strong></a>: it’s rated strongest by mid-market reviewers specifically on G2's grid. Is the monitoring depth real, or do you supplement it?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/muck-rack/reviews"><strong>Muck Rack</strong></a>: it gets top marks for usability and alert speed, but it’s not cheap. Does it beat an enterprise quote, or match one?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Which tool here is quietly underrated for mid-size teams, and which one's reputation is mostly enterprise marketing?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>

&lt;p&gt;The tool that looks cheapest in the demo can become expensive if the team spends hours cleaning irrelevant mentions or has to buy another product for reporting. For a mid-size company, the best value is usually the platform that covers 90% of the workflow cleanly without requiring enterprise-level configuration or a second analytics tool.&lt;/p&gt;
