SQL is not always the most powerful option out there. Having learned a bit of Python recently, I've discovered there are many operations that are clunky or impossible through SQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft SQL Server solving and how is that benefiting you?

SQL is the primary means through which I interact with data. I have written reports using SQL. I have developed stored procedures to perform a number of recurring tasks. I have written extensive queries whereby millions of rows of raw billing data are pulled, categorized and tagged with meta data. I have built data models around the results of SQL queries.
