"SQL server for Relational Database Management"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Clean and easy to use UI. Helpful in suggestions when writing a query in terms of keywords, table names etc. In case of errors, showing on which point the error occurred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Not able to use the same query file while having multiple queries in it. It executes all the listed queries at once. Unlike Oracle DB, it doesn't stop the query which line the cursor is pointing and semi colon is. May be I'm not yet aware of the feature to handle it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The ability to run queries against databases and pull exactly the data that you are looking for is great for generating reports. It's also easy to create backup jobs for databases and transaction logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Sql Server can be a bit intimidating to those who are new to it. There are many menus with useful options that may never get used unless you go looking for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft SQL Server - OutSystems"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft SQL Server provides data to other software applications. To interact with SQL Server databases and manage or query data we can use T_SQL.

Data migration to OutSystems cloud from on-a-premise data (SQL server database) for legacy applications is quite easy. Here we can analyze which table needs to migrate and what transformation required. Integrate external Database with Integration builder and integration Studio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

While connecting to the External database SQL Server, an external database created in integration supports only one database. if we require various tables or collections from different databases must create several integrations..

It's not possible to rename entities or attributes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable DataBase Engine"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The most important is that Microsoft SQL has the power to manage multiple databases at the same time, no matter the size of the data, it can handle all the transactions without having a reduction in its performance.

Also, it has a very friendly management interface for the database admins, they work every day with it and they feel comfortable.

Besides this tool is ready for the scalation that the company could need in the future, you don't have to think about making big changes to support the rise of users or data.

On the other hand, I like the integration you could have with so many different third parties software, you can make many different integrations having your data on a single place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

At this moment I'm very satisfied with the performance and use of the tool in general. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable one for database management"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft SQL Server is well suited when an application needs to have high control over its data from creating, managing to maintaining. Data wil be highly structured and related to each other. It can be integrated with a lot of frameworks. and according to me it is the most frequently used one all over the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

The UI of the SQL server is not that appealing. a more intuitive or graphical way to monitor the performance would be very appreciated if it's created in the SQL server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
