"SQL server in practice"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The consistency of the product is the main aspect that our teams like. They can count on the technology supporting our prior projects, as well as the knowledge transfer for old and new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Product is not moving in new directions. There are a lot of inexpensive options on the market that are incredibly attractive to move towards due to cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

SQL server is easy to use. columns/tables are easy to find. Copy pasting out of the grid is easy, however, numbers get truncated when pasted into excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

does not have a beautifier option. that would be really helpful when ever i am writing a lengthy code. Also, it would be helpful if the grids are editable like oracle database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We run an Oracle PeopleSoft App on MSQL-server"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Our college uses PeopleSoft's Student Administration software and it has an option to run on MSQL rather than Oracle. Since we have more experience with MS products, we use MSQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Nothing really. MSQL does all that we need it to do, and writing queries are much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
