## About Luca
Luca is an AI-powered co-pilot for enterprise retailers, which constantly identifies revenue and profit headroom, makes recommendations for price adjustments and saves countless work hours along the way. Our solution is complementary to the human decision maker in a retail organization. We want to give them superpowers by converting a sea of data about their business into clear recommendations they can act upon confidently with the click of a button. Luca generates price recommendations by absorbing retailers’ sales, inventory and competitor data to forecast outcomes at different price points, ultimately selecting a winning one. Once recommendations are pushed live, Luca monitors the price changes in production, watches out for abnormal patterns and alerts the decision maker if something is off. Lastly, Luca’s attribution models isolate the impact of the pricing change and accurately measure business impact, helping the decision maker gain confidence in their pricing strategy.

**What do you like best about Luca?**

- The team. Tanvi and Yonah are both strong leaders who are willing to listen to our problems, and help us find solutions. 
- The tool - Luca has helped us establish pricing for our Canadian site as well as our US site. While the tool runs on AI, I still feel like we have an impact on the strategy and different needs that come with running a food business. 
-Growth. It's a new company, but one that is adding in new features consistantly.

**What do you dislike about Luca?**

I'm struggling to think of any. I'll go with their lack of EDI integration.

**What problems is Luca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pricing strategy. Takes inputs such as inventory, code date, and velocity into account. We have over 200 items and there is no way we could do that manually.

**What do you like best about Luca?**

Was a little nervous about working with a startup, but the Luca team went above and beyond. Onboarded and using the tool in 14 days, with minimal intervention from me. Saved me a full time pricing hire.

**What do you dislike about Luca?**

nothing so far. Its still early days, but the tool is powerful.

**What problems is Luca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Base Pricing management for a grocery marketplace, with a focus on hitting AOV targets.

**What do you like best about Luca?**

- Straightforward UI compared to the other solutions that have a steep learning curve
- Hands on support from the founders who are available to address issues at any time on any day

**What do you dislike about Luca?**

- Doesn't have deep features in the promotion and markdown space. Base pricing module is solid.

**What problems is Luca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are an apparel brand that is launching new products every quarter. Luca is helping us set up competitive base prices for our product line.
