Litera have retained just one of Doc Corps' (PDF Docs) original Sydney based team. This individual is the one shining light keeping this product alive from a support perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since aquiring Docs Corp / PDF Docs Litera has dropped the ball on development and support in a massive way. Docs Corp was a great company to work with in comparison. Regular support is awful. Each contact with support is only responded two after 24 hours. The response is clearly coming from people who don't know or understand the product (PDF Docs). Regular support works of scripted support routines which are very annoying to someone fairly technical, that has already elimited all the usual potential issues. I have literally wasted 3 to 4 days in making progress with support requests, due to the 24 hour turn around / script based process. Once the issue escalated to the single original Docs Corp Support staff member left from their Sydney Team, Michael Donohue, the improvement in service and knowledge is massive. Michael is a great operator. The PDF Docs product itself immediately showed problems after the first update after the Litera aquisition. Sections of the product still look unfinished after major changes which were not completed properly. This surprisingly has carried over to the 2nd revision since Litera took charge.
