The most important feature that I found in kBilling was the extremely simple user interphase. This allowed new employees of our company to adapt to the platform quickly thereby reducing training time and delays in sending customer quotes and bills. This was a major problem we had in the tailormade platform we used earlier that took around 2 months for someone new to grasp all the features of the platform but one of our new employees was able to get up to speed with kBilling in about two weeks. I think the main reason for this is the easy navigation within the platform which is mostly self-explanatory. There is a different tab for each of the main functions that we need to perform. These are simply worded and you really cannot get them confused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the licensing price is higher than it should be compared to other similar software in the market. Also, we need to take into account the other ongoing expenses related to the software such as the cost of training and data migration. The current pricing model when all expenses are taken into consideration may be difficult for small one-person businesses. Another thing I don't like about kBilling is how much it slows down the computer as the number of records increases. We did not find many problems until our records reach about 1000 but as the number of records increased after that we began to notice the processing time for records and other functions within the software increased gradually. This slowing was also apparent when processing multiple records at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
