## ilert Reviews
  ### 1. it's a nice neat product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pasquale C. | Sales Manager, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

iLert is a powerful incident response and alerting platform that simplifies on-call management and ensures critical alerts are routed to the right person or team instantly. Its intelligent alerting system supports multiple channels like SMS, email, and mobile push notifications, ensuring no alert is missed. The on-call scheduling is intuitive, and escalation policies minimize downtime by ensuring unresolved alerts are handled promptly. iLert integrates seamlessly with tools like Slack, Jira, and Datadog, making it highly versatile. The mobile app allows teams to respond to incidents on the go, while post-incident analytics help improve future responses. Overall, iLert is reliable, user-friendly, and essential for efficient incident management.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

While iLert is a powerful tool, its pricing can be steep for smaller teams, and some integrations are complex to set up. Additionally, the mobile app could use more advanced features to match the desktop experience.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

sorting out our oncall process globally

  ### 2. Good product, with potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukas S. | DevOps Engineer, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

We use ilert for our emergency service daily.

- Easy to use
- Many integration possibilities
- Steep learning curve
- Good support, very solution-oriented and fast. No dumb chat bot (+1)!
- The implementation was also quite easy after a short familiarization

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

We are still lacking central notification policies. For example, we would like to prevent users from being able to receive notifications exclusively via email, which is currently the default for new users. Or also, that we can globally prohibit services like Telegram and WhatsApp.

Additionally, better user management via SSO would be helpful. Deactivating user accounts when the AD account has been deactivated. Profile picture sync from Azure. Team assignment via AD group memberships. Things like that...

User-based notifications via webhook would also be desirable.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we use ilert only for central alerting. However, we are also evaluating the possibilities for incident management.

The biggest problem that ilert has solved for us is personalized forms of notifications.

  ### 3. Reliable and user-friendly alerting platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

What impresses me most is the uncomplicated and intuitive user interface of ilert. The setup was quick and smooth, allowing our team to start working productively right away. Particularly noteworthy is the integration with the tools we already use – everything works seamlessly without us having to put much effort into configuration. Furthermore, the customer support is exemplary: questions are answered quickly, and there is always a solution. The versatile range of features (such as escalation chains, on-call duties, and real-time notifications) practically covers all the requirements we have for professional alert management.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

It's hard to criticize anything about ilert. A small wish might be to offer even more predefined integrations, so that every specialized use case can be directly covered. Otherwise, everything works very reliably, so we hardly encounter any problems in everyday life.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through automated escalation rules and intelligent notifications, it can be ensured that no message is overlooked. This significantly shortens reaction and resolution times. At the same time, you benefit from transparent communication and clear status dashboards. This way, teams can work together purposefully, identify the causes of problems more quickly, and resolve them sustainably. The result: higher service quality, more satisfied customers, and less stress for everyone involved.

  ### 4. Very customizable and powerful alerting system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

A lot of options that can be used about what alerts you will get, and also how you will be alerted. Alert handling is also a feature I like, and it comes quite handy when working in a team. Our team switched to ilert couple of months ago, and we are using it constantly.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

For me as a user, there are no particular downsides. Some additional tutorials about how to get most of the tool, would be helpful.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As part of Network Engineering team of a business that is very sensitive to any kind of system downtime, ilert is helping us focus on important stuff, meaning critical infrastructure. It also helps us with Incident Owning process, so we can distribute our workforce more meaningfully to get the job done.

  ### 5. iLert reliably supports us in implementing our on-call duty

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Volker U. | Fachbereichsleiter API-Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

We use iLert to convert alerts from, for example, CheckMK into phone calls and to alert according to a shift schedule.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

Sometimes, our systems experience multiple different alarms simultaneously. It would be nice if iLert could be configured to alert only once when there are more than 2 alarms within a time unit, e.g., less than 10 minutes.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the data center, there are several monitoring systems (CheckMK, iLert, Azure Monitoring, etc.). For components classified as critical, an alert is triggered towards iLert. During shifts outside of office hours, iLert then alerts an operation center to coordinate problem-solving.

**Official Response from Sirine Karray:**

  ### 6. Good

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego T. | Tech Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

It's an awesome tool to keep up us informed about critical errors with our infrastructure, it has good integration with our monitoring service ( Datadog) and JIRA.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

The voice over telephone is hard to understand to a non native, it sounds robotic. If you cancel a call you will get continuosly spammed.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When features of our app stop working.

  ### 7. A great product that has been supporting us valuably for more than 7 years.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

We use it to alert the on-call service. There has never been a disruption during that time. It has always worked reliably.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

There is actually nothing to complain about.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A problem for us is an incident that leads to an alert. When this case occurs, it means there is a disruption for one of our customers in some area. iLert has always reliably alerted in this regard.

  ### 8. Very good cloud service for helpdesk

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thorsten K. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

Integration with monitoring software like Zabbix, and supporting their latest releases very quickly. Separate API per environment allows more flexible grouping.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

Mobile SMS are horrible; it takes about 1 hour or more to deliver a notification about the alert.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As always, for a medium-sized company like ours, the payment methods (not on account) and the data protection regulations are the biggest hurdle. Functionally, no complaints.

  ### 9. Easy, Intuitive, and Reliable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about ilert?**

Its fast, reliable, and makes it super easy to not only see what is going on but fix it.

**What do you dislike about ilert?**

Nothing of note, really. I thankfully do not have to log in and use the tool often enough for it to really have a negative impact.

**What problems is ilert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its allowing me + my team to always be aware of issues even when we are away from the office

**Official Response from Sirine Karray:**

> Dear user,

Thank you so much for your review, we truly appreciate your feedback and are glad you took the time to share your experience. If there's anything else we can assist you with, please let us know!
