And its collaborative - we're able to work on documents with our clients. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Collaboration Portal?** We were completely flabbergasted this year when after 6 years of using Huddle from Ideagen, we tried to cancel our agreement NINETY DAYS early before it ended and were told that we have to cancel our agreement more than ninety days prior to it ending. Never in my life have I heard of such a thing. And looking back at our original agreement, the terms are conveniently not written in the agreement and instead you have to click to a webpage where it lists the agreement terms. However, that webpage gives a 404 error code. They have fought us tooth and nails on cancelling which is incredibly wild after the loyal years we've spent with them and have always paid our bills on time. We have legitimate complaints with their Huddle portal and the number of glitches and issues we have had using it over the last two years especially. Their customer support has been horrible and we have continued having issues that highly impact our clients who we use the platform with. Would never recommend this company anymore based on how they have treated us after being a loyal customer for so long. **What problems is Ideagen Collaboration Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was allowing us to collaborate with our clients in a safe, secure manner. It would be good if Huddle could recognised time and date of emails and for this to be shown in the document name in Huddle (as a prefix) which Huddle can then also sort and search on. In the past, the other solutions we used (which had included SharePoint Online) were difficult to administer, took a lot of time from both our legal admins and IT staff, and were difficult to troubleshoot when external clients had issues accessing the sites or data. We switched to Huddle after a short trial. That was almost ten years ago, and we still use it for all cases. The permissions model is not complex - it's super easy to understand, implement, and train to the legal staff to support their Data Rooms without constant IT involvement. The legal staff loves this tool over the old ones we used because the external clients they have to support finds it intuitive and easy, lowering their required time to assist with issues. They also feel confident that people are only seeing the data they should see since the permission model makes it easy to understand and structure. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Collaboration Portal?** There really isn't anything I can say that I dislike about Ideagen Huddle. That being said, we have a single use case (although there are many Electronic Legal Data Rooms, that is the only use case). NOTE - There are many features available which we do not use, as they do not pertain to our use case. **What problems is Ideagen Collaboration Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Ideagen Huddle as our standard for Electronic Legal Data Rooms. We distribute the relevant legal documents to people who need them without us having to send paper copies. This includes intervenors, external staff, and other groups requiring access in order have all information needed for a legal case. Originally, we used to copy reams of information and ship them out to all parties who needed it. This cost tens of thousands of dollars, was very time consuming, and made it difficult for the people getting the documents to search for what they needed. Huddle solves the problem by making it easy to share the documents, have different levels of access depending on the NDA they signed (the "Team" they're in within Huddle), and easily update additional documents as needed to their secure locations. ### 23. Some features can be replicated with Huddles notes and comments but in a much less user-friendly manner. While excellent as a tool for commenting / collaborating around a single document it is lacking features to efficiently discuss / collaborate around a topic / group of documents. There is a lack of integration with other platforms or products outside of Microsoft O365, which holds it back somewhat. You can effectively share and collaborate with regular files (Word Docs, PDFs, Excel, etc.) but there aren’t options to embed dynamic content / websites within the platform (e.g. a BI dashboard or other services). **What problems is Ideagen Collaboration Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?** Huddle provides us with a platform to securely, reliability, and safely share and collaborate with over 100 external partners worldwide.
