What do you like best about Hyperproof?

The available programs and compliance initiatives that are available are the best features. Additionally, the Jumpstart feature is great to be able to measure current progress to other programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

There are several things that we do not like. The first is a lack of control of notifications. While we don't want it to be noisy, the ability to configure and customize notifications is crucial to managing a compliance program. The connections/integrations between Slack and Jira need some work as they are cumbersome and require manual configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Hyperproof:

Like with any solution, ensure you do your due diligence and establish your requirements and success criteria. This will go a long way in helping you be successful with any solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hyperproof solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Excellent CMS tool for both preparation and audit"

What do you like best about Hyperproof?

We recently used this tool to prepare for our SOC 2 Type 2 audit. Once prep was complete, we set up the audit itself within Hyperproof for our auditors and used it to track progress of the audit with auditors. The "My Work" feature made it easy for my team to track its activities and the delegation to stakeholders in the business made it easy to gather evidence. Another excellent feature is that as we use Hyperproof now to prepare for ISO 27001, all the work we did for SOC 2 transferred over to the ISO framework, saving a tremendous amount of time and effort. What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

There is a bit of a learning curve, but the interface is efficient after you get used to its quirks.

it would be wonderful if it were possible to right-click on various objects in the interface and open them in another tab. In particular, the ability to right-click on specific controls or groups of controls or document upload information would save quite a bit of time without losing focus on the task at hand. Hyperproof continues to roll out features that address focused areas for improving integrations and features, but also fuller modules that pull in other critical components of the risk management lifecycle. I don't like that there is no way for a client to set up an evidence process. Ideally, a client would be able to templatize the evidence supporting the control so that Hyperproof is telling the clients what evidence to provide to show that the control is operating.
