Horrible horrible company and practices **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Sara F. | Administrative Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023 **What do you like best about Ideagen Collaboration Portal?** It is secure so that our we do not have to worry about our clients or our information being stored in there. And its collaborative - we're able to work on documents with our clients. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Collaboration Portal?** We were completely flabbergasted this year when after 6 years of using Huddle from Ideagen, we tried to cancel our agreement NINETY DAYS early before it ended and were told that we have to cancel our agreement more than ninety days prior to it ending. Never in my life have I heard of such a thing. And looking back at our original agreement, the terms are conveniently not written in the agreement and instead you have to click to a webpage where it lists the agreement terms. However, that webpage gives a 404 error code. They have fought us tooth and nails on cancelling which is incredibly wild after the loyal years we've spent with them and have always paid our bills on time. We have legitimate complaints with their Huddle portal and the number of glitches and issues we have had using it over the last two years especially. Their customer support has been horrible and we have continued having issues that highly impact our clients who we use the platform with. Would never recommend this company anymore based on how they have treated us after being a loyal customer for so long. **What problems is Ideagen Collaboration Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was allowing us to collaborate with our clients in a safe, secure manner. However, there are so many glitches and these glitches of course seem to ramp up right around proposal submission deadlines when we need it to function normally the most. ### 2. Customer support want to charge us for basic features offered by other platforms. Customer support regulary break or cause major issues with our workspace. Going as far as to erase years of work. **What problems is Ideagen Collaboration Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It requires more user interaction to upload files ensuring people think about where they are uploading files before doing so. ### 3. Constant changes to the UX, often removing a feature that I had used frequently, and the search function is horrible. Their entire directory structure needs an overhaul, They don't allow recursive searching for files, only within a single directory or at a project level, and those options are in different interfaces. Again, begging for a UX overhaul. **Recommendations to others considering Ideagen Collaboration Portal:** Demand that they offer you a method to backup your own files at their expense.
