Over the past two years this platform has become an essential tool in managing our board-related work. We use Hippoly on a monthly basis ever since, and even more often, if need be. The process of integrating this tool to our workflow was simple, and we learned its features fast.
We highly appreciate the user-friendly and clear interface, as well as the possibility to keep files organised and easily accessible. Scheduling meetings and drafting agendas effortlessly by using pre-existing templates has also helped us greatly in saving time and keeping the format consistent. The functionality allowing the users to write meeting minutes directly in Hippoly is a practical and useful upgrade. Further, we are happy about the e-signing integration, it makes electronic signing of documents a fast, smooth and, at the same time, safe process.
Receiving and accepting or declining invitations to board meetings has been a straightforward and well functioning process. Mail notifications indicating that there has been activity on the platform are helpful reminders when one is not logged in to the platform via browser. The mobile app offers easy access to essential content, files and messages.
Besides the board-meeting-related functionalities, we find it useful to have one section (“Files”) to store and archive the documents related to our team’s work. This section has a clear and simple structure stripped of any unnecessary and “noisy” design, and allows quick access to files that were added recently, files related to meetings, and files uploaded in connection with posts which each team member can send on the platform. We think that this functionality becomes even more valuable over the course of time. All important documents are kept in one place, also for future board members to access, and they are not hidden behind individual people’s emails.
Further, it has been really convenient to have multiple workspaces on the same platform. Each workspace can have different members. If one is a member of more than one workspace, the switch between them in both the browser and the app is very easy.
Messaging each other via Hippoly has helped our internal communication. It is useful to have the option to message either the whole group or each person individually (private messaging).
The Hippoly customer support has been excellent this far. We greatly value the fact that the platform is designed to serve the needs of organisations ranging from companies to foundations, and nonprofits, and thus, it offers various subscription plans and pricing levels according to the nature of the organisation.
Last but not least, the platform's commitment to security and privacy is commendable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We think it would be an added value if Hippoly would be able to offer more options to choose from in the video conference feature / integration (availability of more than one third-party services for video meetings).
Further, as this is a platform for collaboration, we also imagine and wish for a feature allowing team members of a workspace to work on a document together.
Having team members based in various parts of the world, has brought about some challenges in logging into the platform, an aspect which we hope can be improved.
With the same international spirit in mind, it would be helpful if the content included in the Customer Support chat window would be made available also in English. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
