As an IT System admin, BoardPAC is fairly straightforward to manage. Tasks like user creation, role assignment, and access management are well structured, making it easier for IT teams to onboard new users and maintain proper access control for both board members and administrators.

Because we run the system in an on-premise environment, it’s reassuring that the platform is designed with strong security considerations in mind. This is especially important when handling sensitive board-level documents and information. The available administrative tools also make it possible to manage users, assist administrators when needed, and maintain the overall stability of the system.

One of the things we particularly appreciate is the overall user experience of the platform, especially from the perspective of the end users. The ability to access the application across multiple devices and platforms has really helped with adoption among board members. The application is available on iOS, Android, Windows, and through the web, which gives directors the flexibility to access their board materials from whichever device they prefer.

One area where the platform could improve is administrative reporting and overall visibility. It would be very helpful for IT teams to have more detailed reporting options to better understand how the system is being used for example, clearer insights into user activity, login patterns, and overall platform usage.

In addition, more comprehensive audit and reporting tools would make internal reviews or compliance related checks much easier. A more streamlined way to generate audit reports and review activity logs would significantly improve the experience for IT administrators responsible for managing the application. What I like best about BoardPAC is the accessibility and convenience it provides. Board papers can be accessed anytime and anywhere, which makes meeting preparation much easier. It also supports a more paperless and efficient way of working, as documents can be reviewed and annotated digitally without the need to print large volumes of materials.

During a recent meeting with Mr. Tharindu, Mr. Shiham and En. Fadhli, they also shared several upcoming features, including AI capabilities to summarise meeting papers, interact with the Board when queries are raised on meeting materials, and assist with minutes preparation. Overall, the platform is helpful, but there may be opportunities to further enhance usability. My colleague and I previously shared a minor limitation with Mr. Tharindu, which he has taken note of and will look into i.e. that the full title of meeting papers cannot be viewed once all documents have been uploaded, unless the cursor is placed over the title.

Its very easy to understand and work with, being a beginner to the Board Pac system initial implementation, creating meetings to uploading documents have been very straightforward. BoardPAC is very easy to use, and the application is very user-friendly. BoardPAC offers the iPad app version as well as android, Mac iPhone, and Windows versions. The BoardPac application is hosted on premise for our case, and we have been using it for almost more than two years now, and the experience has been very good compared to what we had earlier. The best thing about BoardPac is the Face ID or touch ID login on the iPad devices without the need to enter the password manually. The BoardPac team also provide regular support for any and all queries or issues that are faced by the users. There are not a lot of things to dislike about BoardPac, but the document pack presentation after downloading can be improved and modified for better user experience. Additionally, the user is download option is required from the front end. Also, the default document type after uploading should be NA rather than paper for approval. I really like BoardPAC for managing our board meetings. It has significantly reduced our reliance on hard copies and has addressed our confidentiality concerns. Not being able to upload folders as headings if there is no document on that point using the upload folders option when creating the agenda.

It's a pity that we need to change the language of the PC to be able to change the language of the app to english for non-english users of the windows app

I'm having trouble with the password reset feature, especially during critical times, which requires assistance from the technical team. Additionally, the requirement to manage multiple accounts for different system roles is overly complex and confusing.
