Many of the features within the system need updating. Linking items within the system is the most frustrating and difficult to achieve. I have been creating committee meeting materials for 5 years now and have attempted to train 2 coworkers as well. All of us without fail, as well as the other 5 admins who create books, have issues with the linking feature. You must first download an installer. Then you have to highlight the item you want to link on the agenda, then find the item in the right navigation panel to link it to, then save. Most of the time, the changes don't save. When you click out of the document after you think you've saved it, you can't get back into it because the system shows you're still editing it. Log out. 1. Customer service: From initial onboarding, to learning about new features, Mike Kenney has always been knowledgeable, thorough, and patient!

2. Ease of use: The platform is very user friendly (for Users/Admins/Etc.) for all levels of technology expertise.

I wish adding signature boxes were less time consuming. But once they are set, it is a great tool for having Directors/Execs sign dividends, minutes, written consents, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Moving to this platform has improved my workflow as an admin. Replacing documents and having the board booklet update automatically, along with the drag-and-drop features and the agenda editor, are all areas that save me hours of work and provide peace of mind. I like that Nasdaq Boardvantage has a 24/7 support team, allowing me to always call and speak with a live representative when we need last-minute problem-solving. It's very helpful to have someone ready to assist with any unexpected issues, especially with upcoming meetings. I also found the initial setup to be pretty simple, and Miss Roni Whitfield was a great asset, helping us get everything connected. I appreciate that the interface is consistent and familiar, and offers a lot of control. We rely on Boardvantage to serve as our respository of meeting materials, so it's crucial that we can organize files and folders the way we need, and that we can permission users appropriately.

Even though I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, the administrative portal can still be tricky to navigate since there are so many controls. I've called into tech support twice and was impressed by how helpful they were and how quickly they picked up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've experienced some accessibility issues (e.g., difficulty downloading or previewing files). However, it may be partly because we primarily utilize Boardvantage as a secure email service and shared document repository. I appreciate how Nasdaq Boardvantage serves as a user-friendly portal for efficiently storing all documents for our board and committee meetings. Once you know the ins and outs of the system, it becomes a great portal with capabilities that most other board portals do not support or have. I find the Drag and Drop feature makes my life much easier. Additionally, the support provided by Lindsay Herrin is commendable. I like that Nasdaq Boardvantage is user friendly and makes it easy for me to upload materials. It's also easy for our board members to use, even for those who are older. I find it extremely easy to use, especially with the help from Nasdaq's managed staff. I like that help is always only a phone call away and Nasdaq's Boardvantage support staff are very knowledgeable. I like everything about Boardvantage. The only thing that I do not care for is when changes are implemented and I am not aware, but the support staff always teaches me quickly how to use the new AI or other changes so I do not have any downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NASDAQ Boardvantage has been very easy to learn, and the trainings have been tailored to my questions. The new AI features will positively impact my team and their work. The Microsoft Outlook and Google Drive integrations are a great addition, since many of my board members use these as well. The only downside I have seen so far with Boardvantage is the complexity of the privacy/sharing folders. I also think somewhere when building the agenda and adding documents, it should say "Meeting Book" since that is what it becomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Boardvantage was a great platform to create and store board and committee meeting books, but the process of assembling the books used to be time consuming. The Edit and Link functionality added in 2025 is an absolute game changer. Assembly of a 750 page board book now takes about ten minutes. And, when you need to make the inevitable last-minute change, it is extremely simple to effectuate the change and recompile the book. I'm very pleased that my Customer Success Manager, Sarah Disbrow, took the time to show me this feature and to train me. She also created a custom training video for my directors. I could not ask for better client service.

The Edit and Link function requires a MS Office plug-in to integrate with your Office suite, but even that is a simple installation. Sarah also provided great materials to walk me through that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fear that someone on my team will accidentally erase all our file restrictions by using the checkbox prompt for cascading permissions to all subfolders and documents.

Also, the copy link function doesn’t work properly for iPad users in The BVGo app. The notify feature doesn’t always work for us because we have a use case that requires us to send emails with links to a mix of people who are both in or outside the portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
