AI capabilities developed with Microsoft and built directly into the platform assist with summarizing materials and extracting key insights, supporting faster preparation and more efficient decision-making. In addition to meeting management, Nasdaq Boardvantage is part of Nasdaq’s broader governance ecosystem. Security and data protection are foundational to Nasdaq Boardvantage. ## Nasdaq Boardvantage Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Board Management with Robust Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie S. | Director-Corporate Compliance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

I like that Nasdaq Boardvantage is user friendly and makes it easy for me to upload materials. It's also easy for our board members to use, even for those who are older. I find it extremely easy to use, especially with the help from Nasdaq's managed staff. I like that help is always only a phone call away and Nasdaq's Boardvantage support staff are very knowledgeable. I really appreciate how quick, easy, secure, and confidential it is for our board to obtain their materials. Nasdaq Boardvantage is reliable and always performs well. It is competitively priced too.

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

I like everything about Boardvantage. The only thing that I do not care for is when changes are implemented and I am not aware, but the support staff always teaches me quickly how to use the new AI or other changes so I do not have any downtime.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nasdaq Boardvantage offers a quick, easy, secure, and confidential way for our board to access their materials. Nasdaq Boardvantage integrates very well with our Board meetings and materials. It works well with Word and other Outlook programs.

  ### 2. Easy to Learn and a Major Upgrade—Great Integrations and New AI Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brielle H. | Coordinator, Board Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

NASDAQ Boardvantage has been very easy to learn, and the trainings have been tailored to my questions. The new AI features will positively impact my team and their work. The Microsoft Outlook and Google Drive integrations are a great addition, since many of my board members use these as well. Performance features like automatic updates, privacy settings, etc. are a big difference. Compared to Director's Desk, this is a major upgrade!

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

The only downside I have seen so far with Boardvantage is the complexity of the privacy/sharing folders. I also think somewhere when building the agenda and adding documents, it should say "Meeting Book" since that is what it becomes.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NASDAQ Boardvantage is helping us upgrade our outdated system, Director's Desk, and will assist in easier board operations. With five boards and twelve committees, it will be able to organize all of them uniquely without having to do so many steps like we currently do.

  ### 3. Edit and Link Made Board Book Assembly Fast and Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim C. | General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

Boardvantage was a great platform to create and store board and committee meeting books, but the process of assembling the books used to be time consuming. The Edit and Link functionality added in 2025 is an absolute game changer. Assembly of a 750 page board book now takes about ten minutes. And, when you need to make the inevitable last-minute change, it is extremely simple to effectuate the change and recompile the book. I'm very pleased that my Customer Success Manager, Sarah Disbrow, took the time to show me this feature and to train me. She also created a custom training video for my directors. I could not ask for better client service.

The Edit and Link function requires a MS Office plug-in to integrate with your Office suite, but even that is a simple installation. Sarah also provided great materials to walk me through that.

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

There is nothing that I dislike about the platform.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 4. Outstanding 24/7 Support from Expert Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendy P. | Board Operations Senior Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

24/7 support by super knowledgeable and experienced people.

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

The fear that someone on my team will accidentally erase all our file restrictions by using the checkbox prompt for cascading permissions to all subfolders and documents.

Also, the copy link function doesn’t work properly for iPad users in The BVGo app. The notify feature doesn’t always work for us because we have a use case that requires us to send emails with links to a mix of people who are both in or outside the portal.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The restrictions and permissions is more granular and easy to manage than Google Drive as far as using it as a document repository. Google couldn't restrict access going down into sub-folders, it could only expand access. Whereas Nadaq allows us to restrict 1 or 2 documents in a sub-folder while still providing access to the parent folder and other documents in the same folder. This solved a huge problem for us.

  ### 5. Great Support—But Portal needs Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lise S. | PA and Department Secretary, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

Fairly user friendly, safe portal, accessible on multiple platforms, but the best thing is the support team that is always quick, competent and thourough. Happy about the edit and link function as well (when it is working)

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

The signature well function could use an update. Formatting of emails is horrible (you cannot count on what you send out looks like at the other end)

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For one and a half year, I have asked why it is not possible to view dashboard videos on iPads since everone uses ipads today. Rearranging of New Items is a huge lack

  ### 6. Secure, Efficient Board Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah G. | Corporate Paralegal

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

I like the security of Nasdaq Boardvantage, which offers a more secure portal for board communications and document sharing compared to just sending board docs via email. It's great for privacy. The ease of uploading and dispersing documents to specific people and teams is also a big plus. We were able to set up watermarks on printed materials, and the boardbook builder and main page of the portal are very useful. The support from our rep Dmitriy Gulgazian has been valuable in making the admin configuration easier.

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

Up until recently we were struggling with the Word extension given we use Macs and the sync wasn't working the greatest.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Nasdaq Boardvantage improves secure communication for board meetings and document sharing while also making document upload and distribution simpler and safer than email.

  ### 7. Best-in-Class Support and an Easy End-User Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marina J. | Paralegal/Assistant Corporate Secretary, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

The support team is probably the best I've experienced of the board portals that I have used. The end user experience is easy

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

Collating documents. The list of documents can get quite long when uploading materials and it would be nice if there was a way that you could move the documents that were needed for collating down to the bottom of the list of documents or some way to keep it separate and apart from the list of documents that you are using to link.

It would be nice if when you are in a folder that it shows you the full path at the top. For example, if I have a folder called Board and I click on that to move to a folder called 02 17 within it I no longer see that I am in the Board folder and only see that I am in the folder 02 17

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a big advocate of board portals and this one is serving its purpose to be able to provide materials to the board in a secure environment, with ease of use for the board directors/senior management and staff.

  ### 8. Robust Features and User-Friendly Interface at a Great Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hosea Corran S. | Citizens Services Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

I really like Nasdaq Boardvantage for its great AI features, like summarizing text and providing minutes during our meetings. It's incredibly useful for summarizing documents and recorded items as well. I also appreciate having access to real customer service professionals 24/7. They can answer any questions we have, day or night, and provide the information we need. When we are under pressure, that's always an amazing feature for us. The platform also offers significant cost savings and it's very user-friendly, which I find beneficial for the onboarding process. The seamless integration and the help we received from the support team have been particularly appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

I think that sometimes it might take a little bit longer to refresh the screen. It could be quicker and more responsive.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nasdaq Boardvantage is more user-friendly than our previous platform, with more features and better cost savings, making it financially beneficial for us.

  ### 9. Great for Board Members, but can be clunky and unreliable for back-end users

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin P. | Executive Assistant to C-Suite, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

When it works properly, it is a great tool for Board Members to use. Also the customer support is very good.

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

As a back-end user, I have a lot of trouble with the Word integration and linking documents. I have to refresh the site constantly as well as log off and back in and restart my computer to get things working.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unclear. I would myself prefer to send Board Members a linked PDF instead, but the decision to use Boardvantage is not mine.

  ### 10. Easy, Secure Board Portal with Responsive Support and Centralized Documents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

- Ease of use for Board Directors and Officers.
- Effective and responsive support team.
- Permission groups and folder structure.
- Customizable dashboard and quick links.
- Centralized place for all their documents.
- Secure access and control between internal (SSO) and external (MFA).

**What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?**

Stronger recommendations on security, i.e. turning off security questions and relying on MFA authenticator.
Clear username requirements and easier account linking when on multiple boards with the same email.

**What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BoardVantage makes it easy for Directors and Officers to access everything they need in one secure place without dealing with emails, file versions, or clunky tools. The platform is simple to use, well organized with clear permissions, and the support team is responsive when help is needed. We also like the balance of security and convenience, with SSO for internal users and MFA for external board members.
