Automated Basic Data Clean up & Basic Emailing **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024 **What do you like best about Herefish by Bullhorn?** I really appreciate how easy it is to build data update automations and set up simple email outreach campaigns. The support team is great—they’re always committed to resolving issues as quickly as possible. We’ve set up a lot of notifications, which the system handles very well, and we also use multiple data update and copy automations. Once everything is set up, it’s mainly about monitoring the automations to ensure there are no issues. I was also impressed with how smooth the implementation process was. The implementation specialists are highly knowledgeable, having worked with the platform themselves before taking on this role. **What do you dislike about Herefish by Bullhorn?** This is NOT a marketing automation platform. You can only do the most basic tasks which I think is what it was meant for. I would NOT recomend doing multiple drip campaigns through here as there is no easy way to suppress candidates/clients. There are multiple issues with this platform due to the enhancements that are being made. They do get fixed, but be prepared to wait 1-6 months for them to be fixed. The support team is good but the engineers are slow. The dashboard for placements, submissions, etc is not accurate as we send emails to help support the funnel after a placement. A few issues we have had: This is not a full-fledged marketing automation platform. It’s designed for basic tasks, and I wouldn’t recommend using it for multiple drip campaigns, as there's no easy way to suppress candidates or clients. There are several issues with the platform due to ongoing enhancements. While these issues do eventually get fixed, be prepared for delays of 1-6 months for resolutions. The support team is helpful, but engineering fixes can take time. Additionally, the dashboard for placements, submissions, etc., is not always accurate, especially when emails are involved to support the funnel after a placement. Some specific issues we've encountered include: The "is not" field stopped working when building lists. Leads are not syncing correctly, and some fields are missing in Leads. Candidates re-entering automations when they shouldn’t. A PDF file size limit that wasn’t communicated until later. Metric reporting miscalculations, inflating everyone's metrics by 50%. Significant notification delays and syncing delays of up to 8 hours, which required us to pause all outreach automations. While these are issues that we hope will improve over time, they can significantly impact workflows in the short term. **What problems is Herefish by Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mass copying over data from one field to another, finding duplicates, and being able to see open/click metrics from emails we would just send out in Mass Bullhorn. ### 2. We used it internally to to help with alerting different parts of the organization during the hiring of an employee. **What do you dislike about Herefish by Bullhorn?** Still needs to work out some things, the templates could use some input from users for different use cases - i.e. hiring vs. marketing etc. both have different needs and different customization needs. **What problems is Herefish by Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connected internal dots along with minimized the manual interaction with the candidates that the recruiter needed to make. ### 3. The software itself is easy to use and extremely powerful in helping us streamline our workflows. **What do you dislike about Herefish by Bullhorn?** There are additional features that we would like to add to their products but the core product is exemplary. **Recommendations to others considering Herefish by Bullhorn:** If you are at all dissatisfied with your current provider for marketing automation and campaign management, check out Herefish.
