**What do you like best about Great Question?**

Before Great Question, recruiting, scheduling, conducting and analyzing customer research was sooo tedious. I used calendly, Zoom links and recordings, Amazon/online gift cards, Opus/Otter, and google docs for reports. Now I can do everything from inviting the right people, to different types of research (survey, interview, unmoderated) to sending incentives and auto highlighting and synthesizing via AI, in less than 1/2 the time. Great Question has made our Voice of Customer program possible, without this platform, we'd have to hire at least 1 part time person just to manage the research alone. 

Even when I have recordings from other customer interactions, I can upload them into Great Question, and it does all the synthesizing for me. It's not perfect, but it's getting smarter.

We're conducting research across the product lifecycle now, from brainstorming to MVPs and our product managers love knowing that what they are developing is actually making a difference in our customers lives.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great Question has streamlined & automated the research process, making it possible to integrate customer feedback into every part of the product development lifecycle. With Great Question, we can spin up a study, recruit customers, conduct an interview and synthesize learnings in 24 hours. It used to take 2 weeks and managing a ton of back and forth, but now, it just happens automatically with Great Question. 

It's helping our internal teams understand the customers more because we can create these video snippets and reels of the customer interviews.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

I like best about Great Question is its user-friendly interface and the range of features it offers. I can quickly see patterns and insights from the data, which helps me make informed decisions faster. And also, it integrates smoothly with the other tools I rely on every day, making my workflow much more efficient. Overall, it makes me feels like Great Question was designed with the user in mind, which makes my job a lot easier.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

Great Question is a solid tool, but there are a few areas where it could improve. I've noticed it sometimes lags when loading big datasets or complicated surveys, which can be annoying during data analysis. And, I think the pricing could be more flexible to accommodate smaller teams or individual researchers. Even with these small issues, I still think the advantages definitely outweigh the downsides.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great Question is solving several key problems in the UX research process. It simplifies the creation and distribution of surveys, which used to be a time-consuming task. This allows me to collect user feedback much more quickly and efficiently. And also, the platform's powerful analytics tools let me interpret the data right there, so I don’t have to switch to another tool, which saves me time and minimizes errors. And its ability to connect with other tools I use, like Slack and Trello, keeps my workflow smooth and my research data organized.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

Great Question is one of the best user research tools I've used as a product designer. It has everything I need—from user recruitment and surveys to prototype testing and incentive distribution—allowing me complete control over each step of the process. Their support team is also top-notch, consistently responsive and quick to address any questions I have. What sets Great Question apart is its affordability; you can start for free and still access most of its features. Honestly, the platform is so robust that I’d gladly pay more for what it offers. I highly recommend Great Question to anyone looking for a user research tool that delivers efficiency and value.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

If I had one suggestion, it would be to expand the diversity of their user pool. My target audience is technical developers, and sometimes finding the right participants can take a bit longer. However, this is a minor issue in an otherwise fantastic platform.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

Previously, when I worked at a different company, we had internal users, making it easy to book interviews since they were accessible via Slack. When I switched to a company without internal users, I worried that conducting research would be too time-consuming and, therefore, less frequent. However, shortly after I joined, we began using Great Question. To my surprise, booking interviews has been just as easy as before. I simply write my plan, create a study in Great Question, set up a survey or interviews, and get responses. Incentives are also seamlessly managed by Great Question.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

The improvement I'd suggest is a smoother transition of participants between studies, and allow more complex logic for surveys.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamless booking of interviews, handling payments, scheduling/rescheduling, recording interviews, triming and transcribing videos.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

Great Question is a capable and rapidly improving platform. It provides a wide range of features and technology so that I can efficiently manage my user testing workflow from a single platform. For a solo researcher at a smaller company, Great Question helps me work more efficiently and provides my users with a professional testing experience.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

It is a fairly new platform, so while the Great Question team frequently launches new features, it lacks some capabilities that comparative platforms offer.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a solo researcher at a small, less mature organization, we did not have the budget to either increase our headcount or subscribe to expensive research operations platforms. We needed a solution that was the right size for our needs. Great Question was an affordable option that allows me to automate time-consuming research processes, provide a professionally branded experience for my participants, and manage booking and compensation in a way that follows our internal policies.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

1. Signing up for studies is easy for our customers. They can see that the invitation is directly from me and trust the email. 
2. I have insight and control over who I recruit. I've gone from taking to the same people every project to a diverse set of folks. 
3. Scheduling with teammates and participants is so much better than my previous solution. 
4. Sharing insights with teammates is a breeze. 
5. Very quick responses to any issues or questions that come up.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

I don't have any major complaints. GQ is a company in its early years and is growing every day. There are a few things that can get a little buggy on occasion, but it has never kept me from doing my work. If I ever have any issues their team jumps on it and responds quickly. I do wish they had some more research tools like card sorting and I wish someone in general would make a tool that is better for unmoderated user testing. However, I knew, and they made it very clear they did not have strong technology for some things yet.

Great Question helps us to recruit for customer interviews and user testing and serves as a wonderful repository for our research so we can easily share insights with our team and make better business decisions.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

Finally an easy way for us to contact the customers we need for our research. We used to manage our customer pnanel without a dedicated tool. It was a very manual and cumbersome process with several different teams involved. Recruiting our customers for research would take weeks! With GQ, researchers can now easily filter the candidates list with their required criteria and easily invite customers to research themselves without needing to handover any tasks to other tools or teams. What used to take us several weeks can now be done in an afternoon.

And when something does go wrong, the GQ customer support is super quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

The product has grown a lot over the last year, so sometimes there are some performance issues and  bugs. These do tend to be resolved fairly quickly when you raise them tho.
I do wish they'd offer a few more integrations with tools such as Miro and ideally third-party panels that would allow us to do research with a wider market  when needed.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our process of contacting our customers for user research and quick feedback was manual and cumbersome. Great Question has made it so much easier and quicker for us to talk to our customers which means we now talk to them more than ever!

Great Question does an incredible job of streamlining the panel management, recruiting, panel communication — so researchers can focus more of thier time and attention on the studies (rather than the logistics).

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

Unlike alternative tools that have not been specifically designed for the research process, Great Question is stilla. newer tool. There are smaller matters of functionality and flexibilty that the team at GQ is still establishing (however I can say that they are easily one of the most responsive account teams I have ever encountered, and are constantly iterating on the areas where our team is eager for more optionality).

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great Question is solving for the extreme tooling overhead that has long been embedded in the user research process. The tool is working to streamline and operationalize some of the most time-consuming elements of user research — panel management, recruitment, and communications — to reduce operational overhead.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

GQ has been essential for going zero to one on our UXR practice. We needed a cost effetive tool that could help with the entire lifecycle of a UXR study, and that had a low learning curve, and GQ has been able to check all the boxes. Plus, the GQ team is phenomenal, and always ready to help provide resources, talk with us about ideas, help troubleshoot and they keep us informed about what's coming up next on the roadmap.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

Like any earlier stage software, there are some kinks to work out and features to build, but the team is super responsive when we provide feedback and we know we have a voice in informing the future roadmap.

It's hard to find an all-in-one UXR tool, but GQ has been very effective and has helped our team be so much more efficient.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

I've been doing UR for a long time, and recruiting current customers has ALWAYS been harder than it needs to be! When I went independent this year, I knew I needed a tool that would handle an end to end interviewing process so I wouldn't have to string together a bunch of tools. GQ saves me time and money, and the team is one of the best I've ever worked with.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

I'd prefer if all paid tiers had custom emails since I always have to tweak that content for every study. If your company requires a lot of customization or your procurement process is hairy, just go right for an enterprise account. You won't regret it.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

Great Question serves as the central place for all our organic recruiting needs, as well as the primary workflow tool to invite, schedule, conduct, and pay out incentives for all our studies. In addition, it makes our panel much more easily auditable for data deletion requests, and other privacy and legal needs. 

The introduction of Great Question will eventually result in the elimination of 3 other duplicative tools in our stack, and ultimately make our researcher's lives much easier through a single unified workflow.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

Great Question is a small organization, and with that comes some growing pains in the product (minor bugs, UI inconsistencies, etc.). However, the team has been very responsive to any and all feedback we've given them thus far, and I'm confident the product will only get better with time.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great Question is creating a simpler workflow for our reserach team, saving time and effort with fewer tools, as well as ensuring that our organization matains compliance through easy opt-out processes for reserach participants.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

Now that we have Great Question the majority of the research headaches have disappeared. Everything is in one place, easy to find and use! The process from creating a study to finding and reaching out to participants has been cut in half, not to mention we now have a 66% success rate with completed interviews. Great Question has not only changed how we do research (e.g. now it's streamlined) it's also changed how we my team feels about doing research. People are excited to get started now - when they used to stress about it.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

I wouldn't say dislike, but since it's a new company there are some things that haven't been built yet - and of course, there's the occasional bug. That said, the team is so communicative and clearly listens to their customers. If we ever feel like there's a feature missing or could use a little update, we share it with the team. Countless features have been updated and improved - and they follow up. I never feel like I'm screaming into a void when working with Great Question.  Great team - great support. If you hang in there with them, you won't be disappointed.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Great Question everyone was doing research their own way. This meant reinventing the wheel, or bottlenecks and delayed research if support was needed. Now, everyone can get started on their own and they're all following the same process. Not because we hate originality, but because this is the easiest that research has ever been for our team. We're doing more research, more efficiently - not to mention, we've reduced no-shows by at least 20%. It's allowed me, as the Research Operations Manager, to focus less on the nitty gritty administrative tasks and more on the big-picture projects.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

We have everything in on place. Our ppt database, email campaigns, incentives, video session landing pages, and analysis. It means as a ResOps Manager I don't have to several different platforms to get what I need to do done for a study to run smoothly and our ppts to be happy. After almost a decade in this field it is great to have a tool that can do all of that and they keep adding more.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

They are a startup with limited people, so some of the changes do come slow. However, I do feel like we are heard and our CSM does a great job of keeping us informed.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problems for my role is continuity, organization, and complicated workflows. GQ solves all of those by providing me the tools to be successful. We can do everything from study planning and recuriting to analysis all within the platform.

Great Question eliminates the need for multiple ReOps tools by streamlining the process of recruiting, emailing, scheduling, and incentive distribution. It makes it simple to enable researchers and other stakeholders with the training and resources to see projects through from start to finish. It is also obvious that the GQ team listens to our feedback and acts on it!

There are the occasional bugs here and there, but they are always addressed and fixed quickly.

Great Question helps our team solve the task of managing participants. It allows us to set eligibility requirements, track participation history, input candidate attributes, and EASILY manage incentive distributions.

Great Question makes communicating with participants easy - as well as scheduling interviews. Also the incentive management component saves a lot of time!

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

The UI could be improved in places and sometimes a page refresh is required for certain elements to update, however, the GQ team are always open to feedback and keep us in the loop regarding known issues (as well as new features etc.)

Great Question makes it easier for us to communicate with research study candidates. It also saves time by handling interview scheduling and incentive management.

**What do you like best about Great Question?**

How simple and intuitive it is to use. If you'd never used the software before, you'd easily be able to set a study and get going.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

I think our teams work a little differently, and we're finding that the workflow of building a project from start to end is a little bitty. We're often having to create multiple Great Question studies, to fulfil all the tasks needed for one of our studies. Still makes the process a whole lot easier though!

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're getting a much better response rate from our participants because of how professional our emails look. It's also great to be able to duplicate templates and change a few details for a new project. It's saving us so much time and admin running through GQ

The GQ team is super attentive to our needs as customers and makes tremendous efforts to meet our needs.  The product is evolving at a fast rate and it's a huge advancement for us to have one tool, especially one that's GDPR compliant, for recruitment/CMS, incentive processing, analysis/repository, and more.  It's well worth the cost.

GQ is a startup and, as one would expect, there are some bugs here and there.

I have everything in one tool, from inviting participants to screening and messaging to data collection and analysis to sending Thank You notes and compensations.

**What do you dislike about Great Question?**

No downsides of using GreatQuestion in general or dislikes! Some of my workflows require a bit of clicking back and forth. The UX could be smoother in some parts for my purposes.

**What problems is Great Question solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to work across multiple applications, e.g. using klaviyo for mass email invitation, link to typeform for screener surveys, GMail for email templates, Calendly for booking, Amazon to manually purchase gift cards for compensation.

Now I have GreatQuestion and it does all of the above for me AND I have all data in one place.
