I find the search functionality could be more powerful—especially for full-text search inside PDFs or older documents. Sometimes we have to navigate folders manually instead of relying only on search, which reduces efficiency. The search functionality in GoFileRoom is functional for basic filename searches, but it falls short when we need to find information inside actual documents. Full-text search often fails to pick up keywords inside older PDFs, scanned documents, or even some Word files. We’ll search for something specific, and the system either doesn’t return it or gives unrelated results, making us browse folders manually. The filtering options are limited too; we can’t refine searches by document type, upload date, client name, who last edited, or folder location all at once, which is a weakness for compliance.
