"Highly Flexible Platform with Powerful Architect and API Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

For me, the strongest aspect of Genesys Cloud CX is the level of flexibility available to both operational and technical teams. Architect provides a powerful environment for developing complex routing and customer journeys, while the API capabilities make it possible to integrate and automate large parts of the platform. The fact that it is being improved weekly with new features & functionality regularly means that your constantly learning too.

I particularly appreciate that you are not limited to what can be achieved through the UI. When a requirement becomes more complex, there is generally the ability to go deeper through configuration, integrations and APIs. That makes the platform particularly useful in a large and complex contact centre environment and a solution can normally be found to almost any proposed solution or requirements list. What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

The UI capabilities vs the API capabilities can hinder UI only users. Some of the API/Bulk Utility capabilities that are available could be added to the UI in some cases. More and more of these are now becoming available (the exporting of roles etc is now available in the UI which is a welcome addition).

The administrative UI could also be more consistent. Some configuration and troubleshooting activities are straightforward, while others require navigating between different parts of the platform or using APIs to obtain the level of information or control required. For experienced technical users the APIs are a major strength, but ideally they should complement the UI rather than sometimes feeling necessary to overcome its what feel like limitations. "Intuitive interface and excellent documentation"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

I like the intuitive user interface of Genesys Cloud CX because I can do almost anything with it. The system offers a good balance of simplicity and depth. I am particularly impressed by the architect, with whom I can create and understand extensive IVR flows. Good reporting is also available, and the chatbots are also well usable. The documentation and training material are very helpful and well documented, which is very beneficial for my work. Additionally, I appreciate the support from AI, which frees my agents from simple, repetitive tasks and allows them to focus on more valuable work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Sometimes it is a bit confusing that several settings have to be made in different places, such as when activating transcription, which can cause confusion. The system is simple, but despite good documentation, it could be more intuitive by having functions activated in only one place. The API connection to proprietary software could also be made more user-friendly. It is possible, but it requires a developer to delve deeper into the subject. Finally, the interface to Salesforce could also be improved and made more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Genesys Cloud CX: Flexible, Powerful Platform for Advanced Routing, APIs, and Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

The biggest strength of Genesys Cloud CX is its flexibility. We can build complex routing and IVR solutions, integrate with external systems through APIs and Data Actions, and automate many processes that would otherwise require manual work. The platform provides a strong foundation for both traditional contact center operations and newer AI and automation use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Genesys Cloud CX is extremely capable, but that capability comes with complexity. There are many situations where something that appears relatively straightforward ends up requiring Architect customization, Data Actions, APIs, or external automation. This can make enterprise administration and troubleshooting more difficult than necessary.

I would particularly like to see improvements in native CI/CD and configuration promotion, automated testing, reporting and alerting flexibility, and consistency across the administrative interfaces. AI capabilities are expanding rapidly, which is exciting, but the pace of change can also result in differences in maturity, documentation, and configuration between features. "User-friendly interface and constantly evolving omnichannel capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like most is how easy it is to use and its user-friendly interface, both for the user and for supervisors. I also value the omnichannel capabilities, as it brings everything needed into one place. Above all, I like that it is constantly evolving, allowing me, as an engineer, to continuously learn about the new features being implemented on the platform as more needs arise. What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Honestly, there are very few things I dislike about the platform. Although it is generally stable, there are always some outages, mostly due to external dependencies (for example, when META goes down globally), which affects the customer experience. Even so, Genesys has good response times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Omnichannel Power with Insightful Real-Time Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like most about Genesys Cloud CX is its ability to centralize multiple communication channels into a single platform, making customer interactions much easier to manage. The real-time dashboards and reporting tools provide excellent visibility into operational performance, allowing supervisors and operations teams to make quick, data-driven decisions. I also apreciate its intuitive interface, scalability, and continuous innovation, especially with AI-powered features that improve both agent productivity and the overall customer experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

The reporting and analytics features can sometimes be difficult to navigate, especially when creating custom reports or searching for especific metrics. A more intuitive interface and additional filtering options would make the experience even better. Overall, it is a very capable plataform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Genesys Cloud CX as a daily work tool. Visibility and productivity."
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like most about Genesys Cloud CX is the visibility the platform offers over my work routine. I can track my status in real-time, manage interactions in an organized manner, and monitor my performance throughout the day. Additionally, it facilitates communication and activity control, contributing to more agile and efficient customer service. In the end, it helps me maintain productivity and offer a better experience during interactions with Mapfre's insured clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like least about Genesys Cloud CX is that, on some occasions, the session expires easily, requiring a new login and interrupting the workflow. I have also observed situations where a break is incorrectly recorded or simply does not appear in the system, which can lead to inconsistencies in tracking the journey and controlling activities. Nevertheless, I consider the platform an important tool for managing and monitoring daily activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A reliable and secure solution with really easy-to-use tools."
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

It has very easy-to-use tools that bring a lot of robustness to the solution; The technical support is of a very good level, aligning and adapting to the solution offered; The solution is very reliable, secure, and easily scalable; Another strength is the integration possibilities and strong AI basis of the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

The workflow development tool isn't as flexible as those of other players, but it's still very good; The documentation is sometimes not as complete and/or comprehensive; The cost policies for some services aren't very clear or easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bringing customer journeys together in one place"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like best is that it brings voice, chat, AI and customer journey tools together instead of needing lots of separate systems. The interface is fairly easy to use once you know where everything is, and the performance has been reliable from my experience. There are plenty of integration options, and the AI and automation features could help reduce repetitive work and avoidable customer contact. I haven’t been involved in the pricing directly, but the main value for us is the opportunity to improve journeys and work more efficiently. The online training and community support have also been useful while learning the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

The only downside for me is that there is a lot to learn because the platform covers so many different areas. It can take time to understand where everything is and how the features connect, but it becomes much easier as you complete the training and gain more experience. What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

I really appreciate Genesys Cloud CX's robust open APIs and developer tools. It makes integrating the contact center with external CRMs and third-party databases very straightforward and reliable during implementation. The platform eliminates the complexity of managing on-premises hardware, enabling us to quickly deploy and scale omni-channel contact center solutions for clients from a single cloud platform. I also find the initial setup very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
