"Genesys Cloud CX – A Powerful, Scalable Platform for Next-Generation Customer Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

I find Genesys Cloud CX most helpful because it offers a powerful, flexible, and unified platform for managing end-to-end customer experiences. Its cloud-native architecture, omnichannel capabilities, Architect, intelligent routing, automation, real-time analytics, and extensive APIs make it easier to design, implement, and maintain scalable contact center solutions. One of its biggest advantages is continuous innovation, with regular feature enhancements and new AI capabilities. From a technical perspective, I particularly appreciate its developer-friendly environment, integration flexibility, troubleshooting capabilities, and customization options, which allow us to build solutions tailored to specific business requirements. Overall, Genesys Cloud CX helps improve customer satisfaction, agent productivity, operational efficiency, and business agility while reducing infrastructure and maintenance complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Although I appreciate the continuous innovation in Genesys Cloud CX, I feel there is room for improvement in areas such as troubleshooting, documentation, reporting flexibility, and API capabilities. Frequent UI changes can sometimes require additional adaptation, while complex integrations and advanced configurations may involve extra development effort. More detailed technical documentation, improved debugging tools, greater reporting flexibility, and enhanced API capabilities would make the platform even more efficient and developer-friendly. "Agile and Centralized Service with Genesys Cloud CX"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like most about Genesys Cloud CX is the convenience of having all customer interactions centralized on a single platform. This greatly facilitates service, as I can quickly access history, switch between different communication channels, and perform my activities more swiftly. Additionally, the tool's stability and support resources help enhance the experience for both the employee and the customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

There's nothing I really dislike, but I believe the experience could be even better with more simplified processes and faster load times for some features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Flexible Platform with Powerful Architect and API Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

For me, the strongest aspect of Genesys Cloud CX is the level of flexibility available to both operational and technical teams. Architect provides a powerful environment for developing complex routing and customer journeys, while the API capabilities make it possible to integrate and automate large parts of the platform. The fact that it is being improved weekly with new features & functionality regularly means that your constantly learning too.

I particularly appreciate that you are not limited to what can be achieved through the UI. When a requirement becomes more complex, there is generally the ability to go deeper through configuration, integrations and APIs. That makes the platform particularly useful in a large and complex contact centre environment and a solution can normally be found to almost any proposed solution or requirements list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

The UI capabilities vs the API capabilities can hinder UI only users. Some of the API/Bulk Utility capabilities that are available could be added to the UI in some cases. More and more of these are now becoming available (the exporting of roles etc is now available in the UI which is a welcome addition).

The administrative UI could also be more consistent. Some configuration and troubleshooting activities are straightforward, while others require navigating between different parts of the platform or using APIs to obtain the level of information or control required. For experienced technical users the APIs are a major strength, but ideally they should complement the UI rather than sometimes feeling necessary to overcome its what feel like limitations. "Intuitive interface and excellent documentation"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

I like the intuitive user interface of Genesys Cloud CX because I can do almost anything with it. The system offers a good balance of simplicity and depth. I am particularly impressed by the architect, with whom I can create and understand extensive IVR flows. Good reporting is also available, and the chatbots are also well usable. The documentation and training material are very helpful and well documented, which is very beneficial for my work. Additionally, I appreciate the support from AI, which frees my agents from simple, repetitive tasks and allows them to focus on more valuable work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Sometimes it is a bit confusing that several settings have to be made in different places, such as when activating transcription, which can cause confusion. The system is simple, but despite good documentation, it could be more intuitive by having functions activated in only one place. The API connection to proprietary software could also be made more user-friendly. It is possible, but it requires a developer to delve deeper into the subject. Finally, the interface to Salesforce could also be improved and made more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Genesys Cloud CX: Flexible, Powerful Platform for Advanced Routing, APIs, and Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

The biggest strength of Genesys Cloud CX is its flexibility. We can build complex routing and IVR solutions, integrate with external systems through APIs and Data Actions, and automate many processes that would otherwise require manual work. The platform provides a strong foundation for both traditional contact center operations and newer AI and automation use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Genesys Cloud CX is extremely capable, but that capability comes with complexity. There are many situations where something that appears relatively straightforward ends up requiring Architect customization, Data Actions, APIs, or external automation. This can make enterprise administration and troubleshooting more difficult than necessary.

I would particularly like to see improvements in native CI/CD and configuration promotion, automated testing, reporting and alerting flexibility, and consistency across the administrative interfaces. AI capabilities are expanding rapidly, which is exciting, but the pace of change can also result in differences in maturity, documentation, and configuration between features. "Robust and fast automation, although the interface could improve"

I can also do basic development in a short time and go into production as soon as possible. We chose the cloud solution for its ease and versatility; the initial setup was very easy and implemented in record time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Customer Journey Building with Powerful Automation and Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like most about Genesys Cloud CX is the flexibility to build and improve customer journeys in one platform. Architect and Data Actions make it easier to connect APIs and automate processes, while the analytics help us understand what’s happening in the operation and identify where to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Some features require several permissions and configuration steps, and it isn’t always clear why a feature is unavailable, even after the required add-on is enabled. Documentation can also be inconsistent as features evolve. Clearer setup guidance and error messages would make troubleshooting easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Optimize Customer Service Operations Efficiently"
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

I like how Genesys Cloud CX connects operational efficiency with customer experience, all in a single cloud platform that is flexible and easy to implement. The tool offers native WFM management, real-time adherence, and a unified view for customer experience, in addition to providing a flexible Cloud-Native architecture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

Although it is great as an omnichannel channel, sometimes I feel it would be better if there was a segregation of channels. This would help simplify dashboards and report views and reduce errors in operation, such as voice transfers to wrong channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Genesys Cloud CX as a daily work tool. Visibility and productivity."
5/5
What do you like best about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like most about Genesys Cloud CX is the visibility the platform offers over my work routine. I can track my status in real-time, manage interactions in an organized manner, and monitor my performance throughout the day. Additionally, it facilitates communication and activity control, contributing to more agile and efficient customer service. In the end, it helps me maintain productivity and offer a better experience during interactions with Mapfre's insured clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genesys Cloud CX?

What I like least about Genesys Cloud CX is that, on some occasions, the session expires easily, requiring a new login and interrupting the workflow. I have also observed situations where a break is incorrectly recorded or simply does not appear in the system, which can lead to inconsistencies in tracking the journey and controlling activities. Nevertheless, I consider the platform an important tool for managing and monitoring daily activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
