I love that we can add as much logic as needed to each form. My company has some really long, complex forms, and it's great that I can hide sections and fields as needed to prevent team members from having to put "N/A" as a response hundreds of times. The email automation is a big plus - it is easy to update settings to include the submitters manager/director on the submissions. This prevents the admin support team from having to manually forward responses to the appropriate manager. Form permissions are also great. It is nice that we have the flexibility to choose which folders our admins have access to. This allows admins throughout the company to edit their forms as needed which still protecting sensitive information provided on responses to HR, security, and accounting forms. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** When building forms in Formstack, I wish that the build panel was bigger. Sometimes it can be hard to see what items exist when the build panel is so small. When building a form, I think it would be more valuable to see more of the build panel (like logic, field name, drop-down options, etc.) than more of the form preview which currently takes up most of the screen. I wish that there were more safeguards in place for errors that may occur when a field is deleted from a form. For example, we have an HR form that sends submission info via email if a certain item from a drop-down box is selected. The item was renamed last year, and the item name was not automatically updated in email settings. This resulted in several submissions being missed as no notification was sent. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automation: We are able to get the information from the team members to the correct department quickly and easily. It is nearly impossible for the teams to know who to email for expense reports, incident reports, perks and benefits, etc. and Formstack takes away the need to know these people's names and email addresses. Analytics: We are able to export responses easily which helps us identify trends in responses. This is super helpful when planning upcoming projects! ### 15. I really enjoy how easy it is to see simple analytics based on how the form was either submitted or left blank. I really enjoy the analytics as it is a great way to report to our clients how much interaction the website is getting.l **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** Late last year an update was pushed out that made the embedding of forms unstable. Overnight it seemed that dozens of our forms embedded on websites broke when viewed on mobile or smaller screens. It looks like the form has a forced width on every viewing size. Before I enjoyed how dynamic the forms performed, now we must use a workaround to make it work. Lastly, when we tried to add UTM parameters into a hidden field it was erased once someone filled out a form. If we have ten forms and we need to perform the same change on all of them, the process becomes tiring and tedious. And also they have just let me know that apparently I am on a yearly contract?? And I can't cancel for 8 months? After I spend another $4k+ with them?? I am so beyond disappointed. I have been a customer for 5+ years. It's an insanely expensive, subpar service. I am so beyond my limit with Formstack. On top of all of this, I have reached out when our form logic was just NOT working (REALLY bad look for us for our clients) and they gaslit me and told me it was working after it had been fixed. SO why when I did absolutely nothing did my form not work and now it all of sudden works??? Hm... Go with another form provider. My business needs HIPAA compliant forms and there are way better alternatives out there for a FRACTION of the price. Like less than what I am paying PER MONTH at Formstack for an entire year kind of fraction of the price. I would give 0 stars if I could. I've been getting ripped off for years and am mad and feel taken advantage of and now they are making it my problem. I could have saved $10k if i switched to another provider earlier. I wouldn't be so mad because I do take responsibility for my part in this... but it's also taken me HOURS to attempt to leave the service (they still haven't cancelled my account and each month that goes on they keep charging me!!!!), another 20 hours or so to rebuild my forms on another platform.
