# Which Recruiting Automation solutions maintain high candidate satisfaction and engagement?

We're looking into which Recruiting Automation solutions maintain high candidate satisfaction and engagement, since that's measured from the applicant's side of the process, a metric recruiters can't always see from inside their own ATS.

Here's what came up for each:

Humanly: Reports candidate experience scores averaging 4.8 out of 5 across more than 250,000 candidates engaged monthly, with 24/7 branded chat, voice, and video responses keeping applicants informed in real time. Does that responsiveness hold up equally well for candidates applying to niche or highly specialized roles?

Greenhouse: Reviewers describe candidates having a smoother experience thanks to consistent scheduling and communication, with one reviewer specifically praising the clean interface for both recruiters and hiring managers.

Indeed Hiring Platform: Its integrated messaging and interview coordination tools are built around keeping candidates engaged from the moment they apply, backed by real-time market data to keep expectations aligned.

Braintrust AIR: Instantly matches candidates with roles and conducts the first-round interview automatically, cutting the wait time that usually causes candidate drop-off. Would that automated first interview feel impersonal to candidates used to a human touch early in the process, or does the speed outweigh that?

For recruiters tracking candidate satisfaction directly, which stage of the funnel sees the biggest engagement drop today, and did switching tools actually move that number?

Oh for keeping candidates engaged (not ghosted) through an automated process, the tools that communicate well are the ones to look at. Zoho Recruit is well-rated and reviewers like its automation for keeping candidates moving with timely updates, and it's approachable for smaller teams. Bullhorn is strong on the staffing-agency side where fast, consistent candidate communication is the whole business. iCIMS is the enterprise option with candidate-experience tooling for larger, high-volume hiring. To be real, candidate satisfaction usually breaks on silence between stages, so the automation that helps most is automated status updates and fast scheduling, and it's easy to automate in a way that feels robotic, so I'd test the actual candidate-facing messages. Are you high-volume hiring where speed matters most, or lower-volume where a personal touch is the differentiator?
