**What do you like best about Cordial?**

I think I like about cordial is that it can centralized all the messaging platefrom like mail, normal messages(sms) and also they uses real time data of users up to date data which is very good for brands to know about their customers and increase their engagement.

I think main difficulty is that as this plateform uses data (upto date data) so for the initial user it is difficult to use easily it takes time for the user to understand the whole system, but after understanding the user can frequently use the platefrom.

I think cordial solves the major problem which is gatheirng the data, as many other plateforms also gather the data but they are not frequently update the user's data which cause problem to the enterprises so here cordial helps it will gather the data and also update the data continuously(frequently) so that enterprise will understand the user demand

I like Cordial's ability to combine speed, data, and personalization to drive customer engagement. The platform enables marketers to move beyond generic campaigns to tailored immediate customer experiences. I also appreciate the smooth integration structure, onboarding, and API capabilities that Cordial offers.

I struggle with the learning curve for advanced features, which feels a bit challenging. The user interface updates could be more intuitive, and I wish there was more flexibility in reporting customization.

I use Cordial for cross-channel marketing automation, managing customer data, and hyper-personalized messaging. It solves fragmented customer data issues, speeds up campaign launch, and improves audience targeting. I like how it drives customer engagement with speed, data, and personalization.

**What do you like best about Cordial?**

Their people.  From sales to service and support, their team becomes an extension of your brand. They are very professional and knowledgeable, and you can sense that they genuinely want to help our brand succeed. The platform itself has a great user interface and is significantly better than our prior 'legacy' platform. We are still new to using the platform, as just completed onboarding, so there is still much for us to learn.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

Training is more self-serving and could use a few extra sessions where the cordial team walks you through the platform. Today, I'm not sure what I don't know, but I recall there being some cool features - we're just not taking advantage of them yet.

**What problems is Cordial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform has more out of the box capabilities than our previous platform and we have a direct connector set-up with our datalake ro streamline our datashare - data integrations and data gaps caused huge issues with our previous ESP and Cordial has helped resolve that and bring new features into our email templates.

**What do you like best about Cordial?**

One of the standout aspects of using Cordial is just how easy and intuitive the platform is. From the start, it’s been clear that usability is a top priority. The interface is clean, user-friendly, and makes navigating through campaigns, data, and settings straightforward—even for new users.

Another major highlight is the outstanding support team. They're responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our success. Whether it's a quick question or a deeper strategic conversation, they’re always there to help.

We also really value the robust testing capabilities Cordial offers. The platform allows us to experiment and optimize with confidence, from A/B tests to more advanced personalization experiments. This has had a huge impact on our ability to deliver more effective, relevant messaging.

Overall, Cordial makes it easy to do complex things well. The combination of a great interface, strong support, and powerful testing tools makes it a core part of our marketing tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

While our experience with Cordial has been overwhelmingly positive, there are a few areas where we’re looking forward to continued development.

There are some capabilities currently in the works that we’re eager to see implemented. These enhancements would help streamline certain processes and expand what we can do within the platform. It’s clear the team at Cordial is listening to feedback and prioritizing improvements, which gives us confidence that these features are on the horizon.

Overall, the limitations are minor and don’t significantly impact our day-to-day operations. The platform remains powerful and easy to use, and the roadmap ahead is promising.

**What problems is Cordial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before switching to Cordial, we were using separate platforms for each of our marketing channels. This created a lot of inefficiencies—fragmented data, inconsistent messaging, and a heavier lift when it came to campaign execution and reporting.

Cordial has completely changed that for us. By bringing all of our channels into one unified platform, we’ve been able to consolidate our efforts and streamline our workflows. Creating and delivering messages is now much faster and more consistent, and we can manage everything from one place instead of jumping between tools.

Reporting has also improved dramatically. With all our data centralized, we can easily track performance across channels, gain deeper insights, and make more informed decisions—without the hassle of stitching together reports from multiple systems.

In short, Cordial has helped us work smarter, move faster, and deliver a better experience to our customers. It’s been a game-changer for our marketing team.

I like how we have been able to utilize Cordial like a CDP. Really all the data we collect in hour customer journeys allow us to use that data to be more strategic in the business.

I think their pricing and service offered is getting a bit confusing. A lot of the new things that come out they want you to pay for instead of testing and trying it before you commit.

Emails, email automations, and push notifications. It also allows us to build audience lists that we use for other channels or to build look alike models.

I like best that I can come to my cordial team with ideas for new automations, blocks, anything, and they will be able to make something specific for my needs. They are ready to make their product work for our ideas.

I dislike how often I run into problems with some of these blocks whether they not be compatible with others, with images, ect.

**What do you like best about Cordial?**

Honestly, I am very much happy with their marketing platform, like how it is pushing that personalised touch. It's not about a throwing some random messages and calling it a day. Instead, they are really going deep with data, understanding each customer properly, that's what the real messaging makes it feel real. They even handle email more professionally, along with this adding AI to help it out it's like they are making things more smarter and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

Well, to be honest, it can feel a bit complex at first. There's a lot of features which is good but it takes time to really get the hang of everything.And sometimes the support documentation could be a bit clearer. Cordial is a powerful tool but you need to invest the time to learn it properly.

**What problems is Cordial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Cordial for mobile marketing and automation, has really helped me streamline our customer reach. Before using it, we struggled to send personalised messages via SMS and In app notifications and our marketing campaigns feels scattered. Cordial solved this issue by centralising our customer data, by allowing us to send messages to our precise targets. This helped us not sending some randomly some generic notifications anymore but able to send some relevant offers and updates that customers actually care about. Thanks to Cordial, for making our work easy and improving our engagement rates.

It is extremely versatile and helpful! It is easy to implement in my project and their friendly customer support staff is always at the order of the day. I use it daily in my projects and it integrated so well that I have boosted my efficiency so much that I'll be the next CEO of my company!

**What do you like best about Cordial?**

The software and its UI are very easy to understand and perform and complete all the tasks with high level of accuracy.
The best and intuitive feature of Cordial is its personalising and customising email feature. And also it supports to send and migrate the data from one server to another.
For marketing over email and social media, everything is possible with Cordial, no limitation or boundation have been experienced here.
Its a very helpful tool for configuring the data and content all at one location, best for optimising the information.
For alligning all your business marketing and campaigning, it has a lot of successing tools for making it possible for you.
The most amazing feature of it is that it has wide range of advanced features, and has the capability and ability of handling multiple social media handles simultaneously. 
The automated tools here are very helpful, the AI tools will make the marketing work fully automated and will consume less time in processing. This will basically result in increasing of business and productivity.
The automated email marketing and social marketing helps in targeting and gathering more and more interested audience towards your services.

The report geenration feature is quite not working properly, and does not provide proper and analytical results everytime you require to generate reports.
Splting of window or screen or duplicating the screen is quite complex and difficult at some instances, does not support this feature while processing any automation or uploading.

Making it possible for us in processing and publishing automation marketing, and the wide varierty of AI tools helps in doing the marketing work in our organisation intuitively.
Helped a lot in making a good connection with customers by regulary engaging them with automated emails and campaigns over social medias.

There are a few featuers that are not yet avaiable in an auomtated way such as DOW and TOD optimization.

We send transactional, triggered and promotional emails to our subcribers using Cordial.  They have assisted us in using best practices to bucket our subscriber list and target audiences accordingly to increase CTR and CVR.

I love how organized Cordial is and how helpful the staff is. The sculpt blocks are amazing, I love the drag and drop feature. I also love that there are so many different options to increase your email subscribers.

I don't necessarily like that you have to learn a smarty language to be able to properly use the platform. It would be helpful to have a dictionary with smarty language and english.

At times I do feel like maybe the reporting is lacking just a bit. I would like it to be easier to get reporting and more detailed reporting when needed. That would be a huge thing for our company to have.

Login timeouts always appear between tasks or looking away to answer an email. Can be tricky to duplicate a window to view user event data while coding.

Cordial is very willing to identify and work on custom solutions for a brand, even if this is not something already a part of their suite of products.  They have friendly account managers and technical support that's always lookign to service us.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

I don't think the Cordial platform is extremely user friendly for business owners that aren't technically inclined.  It takes awhile to get used to the system and even those that are in it everyday, often have to defer to our account manager.

Cordial is solving our ability to pivot quickly without hand coding different email variations.  We are also able to test out theories thanks to the block system of building emails.

The support and success teams are extremely helpful. The product is easy to use but when it comes to more technical solutions the support team are experts in implementing.

The out-of-the-box integration with our netsuite site is somewhat limited. Implementing automation campaigns requires more development work to integrate than other email marketing platforms.

Once the sculpt blocks are built using them saves so much time building an email.

There is no auto-save when building an email. If it times out and you haven't saved it is all lost.

I've really enjoyed working with our Solutions Consultant, Sahe Mayson. Always willing to help & quick to respond, he enables us to work faster than we would otherwise be able to.

There is more technical lift required for segmentation and templating than some other ESPs, restricting the overall abilities of marketers to execute quickly on their own without developers

**What do you like best about Cordial?**

The underlying technology supporting the platform is incredibly well built, utilizing modern tech with a focus on scalability and speed. They also are constantly upgrading and adding new features. Their documentation is well put together and our support team is always available to assist (usually within minutes) for any questions we have.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

There really isn't anything that we dislike, it's been a fantastic partnership with a great product that is essential for us to run our business.

**What problems is Cordial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were primarily looking for a new ESP platform to replace our existing but very dated provider. We have some nuance around our data model and how we manage the integration to drive contact profile data, and Cordial had the flexibility to support our needs out of the box. They also have a very well developed solution for managing data and information about sends at a granular level that made it incredibly easy for us to quickly get up and running. With our old platform, we were spending a lot of energy on maintenance and operational overhead, whereas with Cordial we can focus instead on crafting and sending effective communications. 

Also, Cordial makes it incredibly easy to scale emails, through really crisp and easy automation capabilities and an incredibly intuitive template builder. We were able to drastically reduce the number of templates we were managing (before we were creating each email from scratch) through effective use of templating content and support for easy dropping in of variable based / dynamic content.

Completely customizable - if you can dream it, you can build it.  There seems to be no limit to what contact level data you can put in the platform then leverage for triggers, personalization or segmentation in emails or other messages.

Documentation is very good, and all the tools to customize and build on it are at your disposal.  If you like to be self-sufficient, this is the perfect tool.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

Significant learning curve, and you need to have a developer-type on your team in order to leverage the tool to any extent.  Much of the functionality is implemented using "Smarty" code.  This gives it its power, but it's not for the faint-of-heart.  If you're used to an email tool with a canned WYSIWYG editor, your transition will be difficult.  Once you set up your templates and building-blocks, however, non-technical users can use the tool pretty easily.

**Recommendations to others considering Cordial:**

Cordial is a great option if you have a strong internal team with good technical abilities and good strategic ideas.  If you need the vendor to provide pre-built templates and programs, there are better choices.

**What problems is Cordial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've dramatically cut down on the time it takes to create ecommerce emails with lots of products.  We can pull in products dynamically from our catalog, create rules around who sees what product, create rules around who gets what email, etc.  

We've seen performance improvements in open rates, click-throughs and revenues by sending more relevant and timely emails to our customers.

**What do you like best about Cordial?**

- Onboarding was very fast. Only took us a few weeks and we have a large list (over 1 million)

- Strong support so far. They have helped us customize our implementation and build out some cool features. 

- Once you get sculpt set up, building and scheduling messages is a lot easier. There is definitely some upfront work that needs to be done, but once completed, it makes life a lot easier. Scheduling and unscheduling sends is also easy. We had to go through a four-step process to schedule a message in our last ESP. With Cordial, once a message is built, you plug in the time and press a button. 

- Their journey tool is pretty straightforward compared to other tools I have used. It may not be the most complex but you also don't need to be a developer to use it. 

- It builds audience segments extremely quickly and in real-time. Also the tagging capability can be very powerful for segmentation. You can also see how different segments performed within an email without having to split the message into multiple segments

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

- Interface is still a bit of a work in progress. There are some features that are more fleshed out in more established ESPs that Cordial is still working on. However, they are very willing to take input and suggestions. 

- You do need their expertise to help fully build out your implementation unless you have some hard-core developers on your team, but this is the case with any enterprise tool

- Would like to have some foldering capabilities

We needed a less cumbersome,less expensive and more modern tool that would allow us to send more personalized, targeted messages. We also wanted more support and a better partnership. We have seen higher revenue since moving to Cordial and we are starting to use more of the personalization features. We still have a ways to go, but I am more confident that we could get there with Cordial than with our old ESP

Putting together automations could be a nightmare since you have to go down a rabbit hole

There is a engineering effort in integrating with Cordial. I would make sure you have thought about how and what kind of events your product is firing and looking to tie that into how you can use that from Cordial.

Cordial has a very intuitive UI and was quick to pick up how to use it. Bailey and the team have been extremely supportive in helping us get automation and personalizations off the ground. In the first year we had Cordial we didn't use their support as much and that was a huge mistake. Since we've started working closely with their team we've really elevated our program. We are now sending 12% automation and plan to keep growing that side of the program.

At my previous company, we used one of the leading ESPs in the industry and after working with the Cordial team there is no way I'd go back.

We have gotten full support from the Cordial team during our migration to the platform. They've been responsive, available, and patient in helping us understand the platform and getting it set up. The platform makes it easy to ingest the data I need and use it in campaigns, making personalization easy. We're able to link any of our platforms to Cordial, pulling data from multiple sources. There has been no lag in sends, and any issues that have been discovered have been solved promptly by the Cordial team. 

The team is also always open to feedback and recommendations for product enhancements. They're open about their roadmap and willing to prioritize items that are detrimental to brands.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

So far, we haven't had any issues with Cordial. The few bugs that have been found have been taken care of promptly by the Cordial team. I do wish that the reporting was more robust and customizable, but this is something that's on their roadmap for 2020.

Make sure you either purchase hours from Cordial or have the internal power to build out the necessary integrations so your data flows into Cordial appropriately.

1. Marketing friendly functionality. Traditional enterprise level ESPs are super powerful but require a massive team and engineering support to unlock the functionality. That leads to high costs and slow development. In contrast, Cordial allows for quick configuration of triggered emails by non-technical employees. And, with some tech support you can still have the data driven complex options. For example with an enterprise level solution it took 6 months to configure a basic Abandon Cart and Abandon Browse series, with Cordial it took 1 week.

2. Support. The Cordial team knows their tool well, are incredibly responsive and a joy to work with. With previous enterprise level tools we got passed from team to team with each group having no knowledge of our objectives, our configuration, or their own toolset. And response time was terrible. It often took weeks to resolve high priority incidents, with Cordial we solve issues in hours.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

None at this time. There is some functionality we eventually want that isn't ready yet like price drop messaging, but it is on their near term roadmap.

Cordial has driven triple digit revenue growth in email automation. We've made more progress in email experience in 3 months than the previous 3 years on an enterprise level tool.

We are also able to effectively customize it to allow for importing our own data and event triggers.

The platform is very flexible. Allows for a lot of data to be linked and drive messages. We've been able to consistently add layers and layers of data while automated our messages.

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

At times the flexibility can be too much. There are many ways to achieve a desired goal and without guidance it is difficult to know which route is best for your data structure. One thing they definitely need to work on and have recognized is providing more "hand holding" with programs or customer solutions. Another thing missing at times are some basic analysis functions. There should be simpler and easier ways to access data and analyze messages, programs and series. They are working on this too, but have yet to release very many updates.

A better more personalized message experience. We're a custom company and in that have millions of possible combinations and options. We're continually updating our experience to add new layers to our messages based on user behavior.

Cordial is a robust platform that really delivers when it comes to flexibility and performance. With its many audience targeting rules and segmentation features,  machine learning technology (for content optimization experiments), contact list management, custom reporting & analytics, inbox placement tests, personalization features, and image hosting, you have all the tools you need to create a successful B2C email program. (I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting!)

**What do you dislike about Cordial?**

The lack of a WYSIWYG editor initially created a steep learning curve for our lean marketing department. HTML/CSS proficiency is required as well as having a basic understanding of javascript/JSON. Over time, we learned and adapted, and it was no longer a problem. Fortunately, Cordial his releasing a sculpt editor this year!

Educated yourself on the product. You are your only limiting factor.

They are currently helping us with inbox placement and we have begun to see improvements on that front in a short period of time. Most of all, their customer support is top notch. Any questions that we've had have been handled in a quick and efficient manner.
