Cordial's Sculpt drag and drop editor makes it fast and simple to create an email template. I don't have to touch a line of code to deploy a campaign.

Working with the Cordial account team is great. The team is super responsive, provides lots of training and guidance and domain expertise about running an email program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SOmetimes UX is not clear - tough to find reports and understand how to use certain features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Cordial is a simple but flexible platform that can be adapted very well to any type of business and with which you can manage marketing projects through multiple channels, offers very sophisticated tools that allow you to create attractive content for future customers, record information through reports and analysis and finally target market activation messages all these functions are integrated into a simple and customized interface for any type of user Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The disadvantages of cordial are its few support and training options, it does not offer any kind of mobile application, few tools to create customer surveys, it does not have enough storage to support a large amount of information about customers, the integrations of this software are almost non-existent and this is a very worrying point Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Cordial is a software that adapts to any type of business that is interested in increasing customer participation through the creation of dynamic content. In addition to the above, one reason I recommend Cordial is because it is a multi-channel platform through which you can send and receive messages in real time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Cordial is the tool frequently used in marketing and sales departments because it has provided us with really effective solutions to organize our marketing campaigns and create really eye-catching content for all our customers. Its functions to record information and make analysis and design emails have been very helpful for us and have made our work much more fluid and organized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Cordial is a recognized platform that allows users to employ a large number of tools to improve the workflow and increase the audience of customers by creating dynamic content with the aim of increasing sales, among the most powerful features of Cordial we must highlight, its data platform where the user can collect all the information you need in real time and use it to capture potential customers and also segment the audience, contact management is one of its best features so you can create personalized content and activate emails and messages based on data from potential customers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The most negative points of this software are its deployment does not have mobile applications for IOS and Android, the tools for analysis and reporting are not very effective, the email editor does not have many creative features, the software interface is not very modern and requires an update, they must integrate better tools for creating surveys and developing forms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Among the reasons why I would recommend cordial are its extensive data platform with which we manage to create dynamic content for our customers, its contact management functions where you can activate emails and messages, the price of this software is designed for small businesses so the cost is not a barrier to any type of organization and to complete their flexible integrations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Cordial is our frequently used marketing and communications platform that has allowed us to establish conversations with many of our clients and we have been able to put our brand at the top thanks to all the tools Cordial has given us to create dynamic and personalized content for each of our clients, it has also been possible to make really effective emails and create drip campaigns in order to attract a greater number of viewers, Cordial has represented for us a significant increase in our sales and income Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

--- 2 aspects their people and platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

------- None, we are really happy with them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give them a solid look when considering as a CRM / email platform.

I personally have used SFMC, Responsys, and Listrak - and the Cordial platform is superior.

Also the quality of their support is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The ability to target our customers in an intuitive interface. Also the ease at which automatons can be created, updated and tested is a game changer.

And finally their sculpt template tool has saved us tons of coding time and reduced manual errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Completely customizable - if you can dream it, you can build it. There seems to be no limit to what contact level data you can put in the platform then leverage for triggers, personalization or segmentation in emails or other messages.

Documentation is very good, and all the tools to customize and build on it are at your disposal. If you like to be self-sufficient, this is the perfect tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Significant learning curve, and you need to have a developer-type on your team in order to leverage the tool to any extent. Much of the functionality is implemented using "Smarty" code. This gives it its power, but it's not for the faint-of-heart. If you're used to an email tool with a canned WYSIWYG editor, your transition will be difficult. Once you set up your templates and building-blocks, however, non-technical users can use the tool pretty easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Cordial is a great option if you have a strong internal team with good technical abilities and good strategic ideas. If you need the vendor to provide pre-built templates and programs, there are better choices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've dramatically cut down on the time it takes to create ecommerce emails with lots of products. We can pull in products dynamically from our catalog, create rules around who sees what product, create rules around who gets what email, etc.

We've seen performance improvements in open rates, click-throughs and revenues by sending more relevant and timely emails to our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

- Onboarding was very fast. Only took us a few weeks and we have a large list (over 1 million)

- Strong support so far. They have helped us customize our implementation and build out some cool features.

- Once you get sculpt set up, building and scheduling messages is a lot easier. There is definitely some upfront work that needs to be done, but once completed, it makes life a lot easier. Scheduling and unscheduling sends is also easy. We had to go through a four-step process to schedule a message in our last ESP. With Cordial, once a message is built, you plug in the time and press a button.

- Their journey tool is pretty straightforward compared to other tools I have used. It may not be the most complex but you also don't need to be a developer to use it.

- It builds audience segments extremely quickly and in real-time. Also the tagging capability can be very powerful for segmentation. You can also see how different segments performed within an email without having to split the message into multiple segments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

- Interface is still a bit of a work in progress. There are some features that are more fleshed out in more established ESPs that Cordial is still working on. However, they are very willing to take input and suggestions.

- You do need their expertise to help fully build out your implementation unless you have some hard-core developers on your team, but this is the case with any enterprise tool

- Would like to have some foldering capabilities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a less cumbersome, less expensive and more modern tool that would allow us to send more personalized, targeted messages. We also wanted more support and a better partnership. We have seen higher revenue since moving to Cordial and we are starting to use more of the personalization features. We still have a ways to go, but I am more confident that we could get there with Cordial than with our old ESP Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Cordial’s team of experts makes email marketing a breeze. Melanie & Evan are available at a moment’s notice to help our brand strategize a flash sale or automation campaign, with the kind of white glove treatment you don’t expect from tech vendors nowadays. Their exposure to all industries and proven success at this is clear in their high return recommendations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I’d like to see Cordial develop the capability of multimedia messages (we’re currently limited to sms marketing). Given our account team’s hands on support, I’m confident we’d do even more with our creative and brand voice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is very user-friendly! Cordial has an amazing support team that keeps in constant communication with us.

They also have their own deliverability team that keeps us in the know of our deliverability health. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not so easy to pull reports when testing multiple audience segmentations.

Putting together automations could be a nightmare since you have to go down a rabbit hole

to figure out what is currently active & what the audience rules are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Email, in general, is helping us save lots of money in our Retention Funnel, by allowing us to limit our retention spend on Facebook.

What do you like best?

1. The cordial team is extremely efficient and helped us integrate their product.

2. Orchestrated message automation. Ability to tie these automated messages to custom events is very powerful.

3. We can send push notifications to user(s) based on custom attributes (email id / members of certain group etc).

4. Really good developer documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Since we are part of the beta testing group there were some bugs which had a small impact on our timeline. However the Cordial team was quick to address these (the point of beta program was to identify these bugs anyway). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There is a engineering effort in integrating with Cordial. I would make sure you have thought about how and what kind of events your product is firing and looking to tie that into how you can use that from Cordial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What do you like best?

Cordial has a very intuitive UI and was quick to pick up how to use it. Bailey and the team have been extremely supportive in helping us get automation and personalizations off the ground. In the first year we had Cordial we didn't use their support as much and that was a huge mistake. Since we've started working closely with their team we've really elevated our program. We are now sending 12% automation and plan to keep growing that side of the program.

At my previous company, we used one of the leading ESPs in the industry and after working with the Cordial team there is no way I'd go back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only real thing on my wish list is that it was easier to view previously sent transactional emails. This platform is Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We have gotten full support from the Cordial team during our migration to the platform. They've been responsive, available, and patient in helping us understand the platform and getting it set up. The platform makes it easy to ingest the data I need and use it in campaigns, making personalization easy. We're able to link any of our platforms to Cordial, pulling data from multiple sources. There has been no lag in sends, and any issues that have been discovered have been solved promptly by the Cordial team.

The team is also always open to feedback and recommendations for product enhancements. They're open about their roadmap and willing to prioritize items that are detrimental to brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

So far, we haven't had any issues with Cordial. The few bugs that have been found have been taken care of promptly by the Cordial team. I do wish that the reporting was more robust and customizable, but this is something that's on their roadmap for 2020. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure you either purchase hours from Cordial or have the internal power to build out the necessary integrations so your data flows into Cordial appropriately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What do you like best?

1. Marketing friendly functionality. Traditional enterprise level ESPs are super powerful but require a massive team and engineering support to unlock the functionality. That leads to high costs and slow development. In contrast, Cordial allows for quick configuration of triggered emails by non-technical employees. And, with some tech support you can still have the data driven complex options. For example with an enterprise level solution it took 6 months to configure a basic Abandon Cart and Abandon Browse series, with Cordial it took 1 week.

2. Support. The Cordial team knows their tool well, are incredibly responsive and a joy to work with. With previous enterprise level tools we got passed from team to team with each group having no knowledge of our objectives, our configuration, or their own toolset. And response time was terrible. It often took weeks to resolve high priority incidents, with Cordial we solve issues in hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

None at this time. There is some functionality we eventually want that isn't ready yet like price drop messaging, but it is on their near term roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Cordial has driven triple digit revenue growth in email automation. We've made more progress in email experience in 3 months than the previous 3 years on an enterprise level tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The platform is very flexible. Allows for a lot of data to be linked and drive messages. We've been able to consistently add layers and layers of data while automated our messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

At times the flexibility can be too much. There are many ways to achieve a desired goal and without guidance it is difficult to know which route is best for your data structure. One thing they definitely need to work on and have recognized is providing more "hand holding" with programs or customer solutions. Another thing missing at times are some basic analysis functions. There should be simpler and easier ways to access data and analyze messages, programs and series. They are working on this too, but have yet to release very many updates. Cordial is a robust platform that really delivers when it comes to flexibility and performance. With its many audience targeting rules and segmentation features, machine learning technology (for content optimization experiments), contact list management, custom reporting & analytics, inbox placement tests, personalization features, and image hosting, you have all the tools you need to create a successful B2C email program. (I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The lack of a WYSIWYG editor initially created a steep learning curve for our lean marketing department. HTML/CSS proficiency is required as well as having a basic understanding of javascript/JSON.
