**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

We’ve been with CoAdvantage for several years now, and their level of service has been excellent. Between the easy onboarding, quick responses, knowledgeable support, and intuitive software, it has made my work more efficient. Their pricing is also reasonable, even for a small-to-midsize nonprofit.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

The only downside I’ve experienced during my time with CoAdvantage is not being able to pull prior-year W-2s. Our auditors request them every year, and we end up paying the $50 fee each time. It would be really helpful to have access to those reports year-round instead of having to request them annually.

**What problems is CoAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small-to-midsize nonprofit, and we had been struggling with HR functions due to gaps in knowledge, software, and support. CoAdvantage has addressed all of these issues for us. They offer a wealth of knowledge, provide timely support when we need it, and their software is easy to use.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

The website is easy to access; services include an EAP; accessing an employee's personal file/details is easy; and it's easy to find and download payroll reports. Also, onboarding new hires is very easy.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

My list of dislikes or concerns is long, support is not always helpful or customer-friendly, and the entire organization appears to work in silos. Often, when changes are requested, the response and the implementation of those changes are slow. The emails that I have received from a few employees were poorly written, and the team often seems overwhelmed and untrained. It's not always easy to generate useful reports, and my firm has often had to intervene to avoid payroll errors. And for some odd reason, they can never get the PTO hours correct for my organization in January and July.

It is not even always clear who you contact for support or to make a complaint. It has been so bad that this will probably be the last year that we utilize the service. I don't want to feel like I am fighting with a PEO for employee information or to get answers.

None that I can think of.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I appreciate CoAdvantage for enabling us to access large group health care plans at reasonable rates, something we couldn't qualify for as a small company. I like having everything in one place, and not having to file payroll reports or worry about the legal climate of tax filings is nice too. We've had a good relationship with CoAdvantage and fair pricing overall. I also find the consolidation of payroll, benefits, HR services, etc., convenient.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

I had to replace our time tracking system because the old didn't integrate, and their integrated system isn't as good as what we had. The quality of customer service has declined over the past few months. Our original representative was very competent and helpful, but the replacements haven't been as good. One of the replacements was fired within the first 2 months, and the next one lacks the professionalism of our original.

**What problems is CoAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoAdvantage allows us to offer large group health care plans at an affordable rate for our small company. I like having everything in one place, not filing payroll reports, and not worrying about tax filings.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I appreciate CoAdvantage for having everything in one place, like payroll, ATS, performance management, workers' compensation, and I-9, with easy links to other services. The easy accessibility to the team handling our account is great too. It takes a lot of the workload off my plate, especially with unemployment and leave of absence support. I like the I-9 platform; having it digital is way better than dealing with the paper process. The payroll counterparts are very helpful despite some system constraints. The LOA and Unemployment team are the most helpful departments; they handle the majority of the work.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

Not having the stored schedules expire every three months. The inability to remove uploaded documents from the platform ourselves. Lack of ability for employees to delete and add punches (fix their own time) before payroll closes during the week. The uploaded CoAdvantage acknowledgment form not being a part of the onboarding packet, causing HR to upload it on the NHO day. Lack of a one pager for all benefits and their costs available to show at NHO for a preview of what is offered. Absence of a digital document as part of the benefit offering that includes a questionnaire on why employees did not select benefits, with it being a part of their employee file.

**What problems is CoAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoAdvantage centralizes payroll, ATS, performance management, and HR functions, making them accessible and integrated. I appreciate their help with unemployment and LOA, easing workloads. The digital I-9 platform surpasses paper processes, and their team’s accessibility and support are invaluable.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I use CoAdvantage for payroll and employee benefits and have been a customer for a little over a year. The price was a major factor in my decision to switch from TriNet. CoAdvantage helps ensure our employees are paid on time and assists us in staying up to date with new HR policies and procedures required by law, which we find valuable. I appreciate receiving important recap emails about updates for the states we operate in, as they take away the burden of having to research and keep up with legislative changes ourselves, preventing potential issues. I find their web-based system, particularly the payroll and reporting systems, easy to use and manage. It has a simple, intuitive interface that allows us to find the information we need effortlessly. Overall, I feel that CoAdvantage covers everything we need, and I have no complaints, which encourages me to continue our partnership.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I use CoAdvantage for payroll services and have found it to be very user-friendly. The team is helpful when assistance is needed, and all employee information from previous providers was migrated with no issues. CoAdvantage helps with payroll, W2 forms, deductions, and health coverage enrollment, making the process easier for me to review. There are fewer mistakes by employers when filling out information, and employees have someone to contact for assistance. I appreciate that they deliver fully integrated HR outsourcing with multiple service bundles, including payroll and tax administration, and HR compliance and risk management. The replacement of the legacy platform with CoAdQuantum has been a notable improvement. At this time, I am happy with everything CoAdvantage has offered and improved when upgrading. I would rate them a 10 out of 10 for recommendation.

I use CoAdvantage for payroll processing, benefits administration, employee onboarding, compliance support, and managing day-to-day HR tasks more efficiently. CoAdvantage helps us stay compliant with labor laws and improve onboarding for new hires. This has created value by reducing compliance risks, keeping us updated on labor law changes, and making processes smoother for employees. I find their support team and platform valuable because their team is quick and knowledgeable, helping to resolve issues before they impact employees. The payroll and self-service portals stand out as they improve employee self-service, reduce admin workload, and minimize errors. The HR and payroll platform has significantly streamlined payroll processing and simplified benefits administration. The onboarding process, which automates document collection, new hire training, and benefits enrollment, is something I like and encourages me to continue or expand our partnership with CoAdvantage.

I don't like having to re-onboard someone who is returning to the company. It's frustrating because they have to go through the whole process all over again as if they are a new hire.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I really like how CoAdvantage handles our multi-state payroll effortlessly, making things so much easier for us by just getting it done without worry. Their support with tax withholdings and keeping up with new regulations is extremely helpful, particularly with sending out memos on changes like the recent minimum wage increase in Florida. It's extremely convenient that we don't have to handle the actual payroll processing or calculate taxes and deductions ourselves. Plus, the ease of putting in hours and having CoAdvantage process everything from there is a major plus.

I struggle with reporting when I need specific things.

CoAdvantage handles our multi-state payroll and tax withholdings, making compliance effortless. They keep us updated with regulatory changes, so we don't have to worry about it. The ease of processing payroll without calculating deductions is a real time saver.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

Working with CoAdvantage has been seamless from our initial meeting through implementation. The integration process was well-organized and efficient.  The transition was smooth thanks to the dedicated team.  We utilize CoAdvatage daily for our HR and Payroll needs and have taken full advantage of their Time and Labor Management, Learning Management and Applicant Tracking tools.  All services are user-friendly and easy to navigate.  We will be implementing Performance Pro in the near future.  Any interactions we have had whether with Sales, our Payroll Rep, HR Rep, or any other team members has been positive.  Everyone is responsive and available to provide support when needed.

At this time, we have not had any issues with CoAdvantage.

The most helpful aspect of CoAdvantage is the support that is available across the board regarding any subject matter.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

The least  helpful aspect of CoAdvantage is the amount of time it takes to receive an email reply. At times it takes over a business day.

**What problems is CoAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoAdvantage is solving my need for HR support within the small business structure. After implementation the questions that didn't have exact answers became easily resolved with the help from CoAd HR support and payroll. Time was saved due to responses being readily available.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I like that CoAdvantage's payroll service responds to my questions speedily. I also like my representative and the main salesperson quite a bit. Additionally, there's a PTO tracker that we are using through CoAdvantage, which I would keep.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

The background check service is too slow to respond to my need to hire. The 401k doesn't allow company owners to contribute every payroll and workers' comp doesn't cover company owners. The health insurance is always expensive, regardless of providers (CoAdvantage or someone else) but I know I picked the wrong plan in the last enrollment. Also, prior to joining CoAdvantage, company owners should know the workers' comp does not cover owners, and the 401k service does not allow contributions to be deducted from payroll for company owners.

**Recommendations to others considering CoAdvantage:**

The team is good at responding in a timely manner and the fees seem less than other PEOs.

**What problems is CoAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoAdvantage ensures my workers have health insurance, workers comp, paychecks, and 401(k) service. I like their speedy payroll service response and use their PTO tracker. However, the background check is slow, 401(k) and workers comp don't really cover company owners.

The new system offers a more refined and user-friendly interface compared to the previous version. There are also noticeable improvements in the time and attendance functionality. Furthermore, the customer service has been outstanding, as the team is consistently responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

I believe there is an opportunity for further improvement, especially in enhancing the automation of time and attendance entry, as well as reviewing the pricing structure.

I believe there is an opportunity to improve system integration between CoAdvantage, our time clock system, and our 401(k) through Payroll 360, which would enhance the overall efficiency of our payroll process. Additionally, it appears that some employees may be experiencing challenges when attempting to log into the system.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I really appreciated CoAdvantage for providing a stronger benefits package to employees and offering competitive sign-on pricing. It provided a cushion for my position when it came to HR-related issues and payroll questions, which was really helpful. I also liked their assistance with compliance, and having one person as the main point of contact for all my questions was a great support. The integration of Time and Labor, along with payroll software, significantly benefited our organization's workflows, saving time. The Master Reports were especially useful for our accounting team, and the payroll reports were accurate, saving hours of time with detailed data and specific reports we needed. Overall, I would not have left CoAdvantage.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

I faced some issues during the onboarding process. The reporting tools clients have access to are difficult to use. I'd like to see CoAdvantage be more open about allowing small companies with a low medical insurance participation rate.

I used CoAdvantage to provide a stronger benefits package and support for HR and payroll issues, including compliance. It saved time with accurate Master Reports, especially aiding our accounting team.

It’s a great tool that makes payroll management much easier, especially when you’re handling a large number of employees.

Employee app access should be a bit simpler, and when employees stop working, they should still be able to receive their W-2 information in cases where they are no longer active with the company.

We had an issue with an employee’s missing hours on the payroll, and our representative resolved it accurately.

The platform is extremely user friendly, however, the specialist you get assigned to are what make CoAdvantage special. You are able to get in touch with your account manager at any given time, communication is fast, clear, and informative.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I find downloading the payroll register and the various payroll reports from CoAdvantage into Excel to be the most valuable feature, as these can be used to do the journal entries. I also like the one-on-one interaction with my payroll representative, Sherry Miller. She's very helpful and ensures that any questions I have are either answered directly or referred to the appropriate department, always including me in the email correspondence.

Currently, nothing

I use CoAdvantage for payroll, which helps reduce the payroll manager's workload. The ability to download payroll registers and reports into Excel is valuable for journal entries.

The system is easy to navigate. Our payroll rep has been the most helpful.

In 2026 there has been several payroll hiccups for our company. Lots of IT errors, having to go back and forth. I do not have an account rep that responds in a timely manner, not sure if its because she's pulled in different directions or just not great at replying to emails but sometimes questions have to be asked several times before I get an answer.

I haven't had any problems that really have needed to be solved.

The platform is intuitive, easy to maneuver, and clearly designed with the end‑user in mind. Even team members who are not tech‑savvy have been able to navigate it with confidence. The built‑in training videos and step‑by‑step guides make onboarding simple and eliminate the usual learning curve that comes with new systems.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

At this time, I haven't encountered anything I dislike about the CoAdvantage. Every feature I've used so far has been useful and aligned with my needs.

**What problems is CoAdvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an employee using CoAdvantage I don't recall any problems it has solved from our previous provider.

I like the all-inclusiveness of CoAdvantage, with one login spot to handle everything. The biggest help is their benefits portal, which ensures all our employees are able to enroll or waive insurance. They also oversee our workers' compensation insurance, which means not having to complete audits. Having dedicated people available to reach out to for guidance is a major help, and many times they have helped me through tough employee relation issues. The ease of access to the dedicated team is most valuable. The software encompasses all HR needs, ensuring all employees have access to what they need, and while it can be a bit clunky, it is easy to use. Everything else seems to run smoothly.

The hiring portal is a bit complex for our needs so we don't use it. The software can be a bit clunky but it's easy to use.

**What do you like best about CoAdvantage?**

I appreciate CoAdvantage for helping us streamline our payroll and making it easier to add and terminate employees, as well as update employee information. They've taken the stress off tax reporting for state, local, federal, and unemployment taxes. I value their assistance with every aspect of our payroll processing, workers' compensation issues, and retirement and benefits administration. The people are definitely one of their main values; they're extremely attentive and always there if we need something. My payroll administrator, Ashley Monariti, our account executive, Kelly Hall-Smith,  and benefits admin Siomara, have all gone above and beyond, especially when there have been issues needing immediate attention. Their customer service is excellent, with great attention to detail and accuracy. We've been very happy with the reporting and hands-on customer service they've provided.

**What do you dislike about CoAdvantage?**

Fees are high but still in line with competitors. However, every year they work diligently with us to try and bring those rates down based on servies we are using or not using. But compared with a lot of other payroll/benefits companies their rates are competitive.

TLM can be a little slow at times.  I'd like to be able to make certain PTO adjustments, add allowances or add projects on my own.

CoAdvantage worked with us to get the detail we need on our payroll reports and build the GL import consolidated to a level that kept that detail.  This saved our accounting department hours in manual manipulation!  Our CoAd partners listen, figure out solutions and make it happen.  The guidance for employee issues, questions, and benefits are a great asset and advantage to our business.

Over the years, we have had a few different well-known payroll companies and CoAdvantage has been the most responsive to help our business get the data and benefits we need.  Other companies promised, but only CoAdvantage has been able to deliver!

The fast processing time of approximately 30 minutes is crucial for me as I manage multiple roles within my small company, making time savings incredibly important. I also greatly enjoy the reminders provided by CoAdvantage, which help us stay on track and meet our required timelines.

As a small business with a limited human resources or payroll department, CoAdvantage has been instrumental in alleviating the burden on our operations manager who oversees HR and payroll tasks. They also provide robust support in complex legal situations, as exemplified by their assistance with complex employee issues and representation in unemployment court, which resulted in a favorable outcome for us. Furthermore, CoAdvantage's vast array of departments is adept at addressing a multitude of issues ranging from payroll and benefits to human resources, ensuring prompt and effective responses. I particularly appreciate their quick responses in emergencies, always directing us to the right department for rapid resolution. Additionally, their offering of benefits is a standout feature, as this was something our previous company did not provide. This responsiveness and comprehensive support give me the confidence to rely on them in urgent situations, contributing to my firm decision to maintain and possibly expand our partnership.

One issue that needs improvement is a coalition between the benefits department and the payroll representatives. CoAdvantage charges our company for benefits of terminated employees rather than deducting the balance from the employee's last check. Majority of the benefits we offer through coadvantage are at the cost of the employee, not the employer. Therefore we believe any unpaid monthly benefits should be deducted from the employee's final paycheck at termination.

They handle ad-hoc requests with ease, ensuring advanced communication of any updated changes. The platform upgrade to Quantum has significantly increased usability, allowing for enhanced productivity through user-friendly navigation, ease of report creation, and efficient data searches. The flexibility offered by CoAdvantage to allow us to seek our own health, dental, vision plans, and 401K solution provider while still providing access to voluntary benefits is immensely valuable. Moreover, our benefits strategy has been positively impacted, enabling us to offer tailored expatriate packages alongside local voluntary benefits, which were much needed. The additional support in managing payrolls—such as processing one-time incentives, salary increases, and taxation impact previews—has been seamless and without issues. Such facilities greatly assist us in effectively managing our payroll requirements.

I find the speed of response from support functions such as tax and 401(k) to be slower than optimal. There have been instances where responses are delayed by more than 72 hours, negatively impacting decision-making processes.
