"Powerful Automation with Room to Grow"
What do you like best about BotCity?

What I appreciate most about BotCity is how it simplifies complex automation tasks while maintaining impressive versatility. The platform’s visual interface, paired with strong coding options, makes it possible for both beginners and experienced users to efficiently create and deploy bots. One of the most valuable features of BotCity is its cross-platform functionality, which allows for seamless automation across web, desktop, and legacy applications. Using BotCity has led to greater productivity, less manual work, and the ability to scale automation projects rapidly without facing significant technical obstacles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

One drawback of BotCity is that the initial learning curve can be somewhat steep for newcomers, particularly when trying to integrate advanced coding with visual workflows. Furthermore, although the platform offers robust capabilities, troubleshooting more complex automations may sometimes demand more comprehensive documentation or additional community examples. "BotCity completely changed how I approach RPA"
What do you like best about BotCity?

What I like most about BotCity is the freedom it gives to developers. Unlike other rigid platforms, here I can use Python with full control, taking advantage of any library I need. This makes development much more flexible and powerful.

On top of that, the bot performance is excellent — I’ve seen tasks that used to take a long time run much faster, which directly impacts project efficiency and reduces costs.

Their orchestration platform, BotCity Maestro, also makes it really easy to manage and monitor processes. And their support, combined with an active community and free learning resources, shows they genuinely care about user success.

In short: BotCity gives me the freedom, speed, and reliability I need to deliver real, scalable automation with confidence Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

One thing I still find challenging with BotCity is that the DataPool doesn’t have a feature to delete items in bulk all at once. When I need to clear multiple records, I have to delete them one by one, which makes the process slow and tedious. It would be really helpful to have an option to delete multiple items simultaneously, making data management easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for orchestration and automation development"
What do you like best about BotCity?

Versatility in use, simplicity of configuration and use, and most importantly technical support always available to help if needed. The implementation is simple using Maestro and a language like Python, which opens up a range of almost infinite opportunities and possibilities. With the documentation provided and the very active community, the integrations with the tools are very productive and easy to understand, which makes using the tool very simple even for those who do not have much technical knowledge. I am working on a technology migration project for Botcity, and we have already migrated more than 80 robots in 8 months, including robots for daily use and extremely critical for the areas. So far we have not had any difficulties that impacted any of the RPAs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

I believe this will be resolved in the next release, but regarding the logs, as they are made directly from the client, they end up being a little more difficult to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best system to manage and deploy our bots"
What do you like best about BotCity?

In our company, the main issues we consistently faced were managing the processing queue, monitoring logs, and finding an easy way to deploy and control the versions of our bots. Now, with Botcity, we have all of these features in one tool.

Customer support is beyond amazing; they are always open to hearing suggestions and feedback and are happy to help with any issues that may arise along the way. Words like ease of implementation, integration, and use are part of the BotCity ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

Still has room for improvement when it comes to letting less technical users start their bots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for automation with Python"
What do you like best about BotCity?

It is a simple and easy-to-use and implement tool. Unlike most other RPA technologies, Botcity is not low code/no code, which gives us more freedom in what we can develop, without limiting ourselves to actions available in a no code/low code tool. In addition to allowing us to choose between using Javascript, Java and Python, we can use any and all libraries that the programming language has. Its documentation is well structured and complete, it has an orchestrator for automations and allows us to deploy, control the bot version, create tasks and view the bot screen through it. I never had any difficulty using it and I didn't need any support. I used it every day to automate a time-consuming process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

Just some things that would be interesting to have in the orchestrator and studio. Things like the option to export datapool items, allowing the orchestrator to reprocess items with timeout status and implementing selectors instead of just having computer vision. What do you like best about BotCity?

Simple interface with quick setup makes me like the BotCity application. In this application task automation is very simple to use. It has a smooth workflow which helps in speed up the repetitive tasks in daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

BotCity application sometimes feels slow during complex tasks and a few integrations need extra setup. The usage of some advanced features feels a bit challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent platform for robot orchestration!"
What do you like best about BotCity?

The ease of implementation, control of the robots, and maintenance is significant. It is very easy to detect errors thanks to its robust logging system. I can monitor both the robot logs and the execution logs of the runner's terminal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

There is one part that leaves something to be desired: the asset management of the robots. There could be more options. For now, we have two: the execution parameters, which are excellent, and the credentials. However, there could be a way to add assets that do not need to be hidden (like the credentials) or that are not necessarily direct execution parameters — something similar to the credentials, but with the possibility to view the asset's value and update it when necessary. "My experience was amazing, it's a revolutionary tool for RPA + Python."
What do you like best about BotCity?

What I like most about BotCity is the fact that it offers a complete ecosystem for developing RPA solutions. I would like to highlight the ease of integration with other tools, with support for open source languages such as Python and Java. Another point is BotCity Studio, which facilitates work with computer vision, allowing the creation of visual automations with precision. And BotCity Orchestrator stands out as a robust tool for orchestrating and governing automations, offering several functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

Updates to the Python version, internal libraries or components of the BotCity framework itself can directly impact the stability of robots. These changes, sometimes without prior notice or clear documentation, can cause processes already in production to break, requiring unexpected maintenance and increasing the effort to maintain automations. "A robust and easy to use solution"
What do you like best about BotCity?

I like how Botcity has structured their product. The automation orchestrator is organized and easy to find everything you need.I especially like how easy it is to upload bots and how to control automations. The scheduler is easy to use, and Botcity offers a lot of courses about how to use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

I believe that the execution logs could be more detailed, in addition to the logs that the developer himself places when developing the robots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Orchestration Without Limits"
What do you like best about BotCity?

What’s most helpful about BotCity is how easily to orchestrate bots , from deployment to monitoring, all in one place, with a streamlined and intuitive interface.

The main upsides of using BotCity include its flexibility in supporting multiple programming languages (such as Python, Java, C#, and JavaScript), and the freedom it offers through its no vendor lock-in approach, meaning we stay in control of our code and projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotCity?

One limitation I’ve noticed with BotCity is the need to manually start the runner and keep the terminal open to ensure the runner agent stays online. This can be inconvenient, especially in companies with strict global policies where automation initiative is still in its early stages.

In these cases, it would be extremely helpful if the runner and its preconfigured settings were applied automatically during installation.

Most importantly, the runner should be able to stay active in the background, running as a service, so that bots can execute reliably. The agent should also be capable of automatically activating the user session when needed to run the automation, based on commands received from the orchestrator, ensuring a fully autonomous and stable production environment.
